Thrilled 1 – As I’ve aged my knuckles have enlarged with arthritis. I have several special rings that I love to wear and now they have been resized, I can. So very thrilled.

You made our Dream Come True – Where do I start...... after 41 years of age and watching all my friends and family find their partner, settle down and get married, I resided to that fact it may just never happen for me and that maybe there was no Mr Right out there just for me. Michael came along during a time when I was suffering a big loss in my life after losing a very dear best friend to leukaemia. Thinking I could not be any more heart broken, I didn’t ever think in my wildest dreams that my soul mate was going to find his way to me when I needed him most, but guess what......HE DID.

The more we got to know each other, the more I realised just how much we had in common. Michael too was suffering a great loss in his life after losing his mother and was too trying to heal from that loss. It became more and more apparent to me that Michael was my soul mate and was out there this whole time, but I just had to wait my turn until we were both really ready to meet.

Michael and I found many things in common, and over time we realised just how strong our passion and love for the heritage and history of buildings, homes and places were, in particular sharing a love for the 1920’s & 1930’s Art Deco era.

Although I knew from our second date, that Michael was the one, it took him a little longer to realise that and once he finally did, we talked about life commitment. We both tossed round the idea of designing our own engagement ring and although we were very concerned about costs involved, we were certain we wanted to give it a go and design our own dream engagement ring.

We knew we wanted more than anything for it to be something unique and personalised to us, but also make sure it described who we were and the love we share for the things we have in common and for each other.

After spending 8 months designing this ring we came up with a structure that depicts our passion for history and the love for the Art Deco era. We spent hours building an architecture design that displayed many angles of shapes and design with a wide range of detail the eye could see which ever angel you looked at it.

During our course of building and designing this ring through Michael’s graphic designing skills, we realised just how important this ring was and the more and more we fell in love with it. For every angle, shape, pattern and design we structured into this ring, meant something to us and formed part of who we are as a couple. Our ring became our master piece and forms the foundation of our lives together, and we knew we had to find the right Jeweller to bring it to reality.

We were certain, that we didn’t want it to be just anyone, after searching and meeting up with several ring designers and manufacturers prior, we walked into Anny’s Manufacturing Jewellers. Through a long conversation, we Knew Anny’s Jewellers were the one for us.

Over several briefings with [name removed], it became very apparent at just how much devotion and love he shares in his passion for high quality Jewellery, its beauty and design. [name removed] was not only able to identify how much this ring meant, but was able to show understanding of how important this ring was to us. It didn’t take much for [name removed] to understand that this ring was not just a ring with diamonds, but every part of it held importance and meant something to us.

Although [name removed] was very aware in our concern of the financial cost involved in designing and manufacturing our very own ring, he worked hard and I am certain even at a loss to himself financially not to mention time, to bring this ring to reality just because of his love and passion for fine art and design in Jewellery making. [name removed] worked tirelessly in making this affordable to us just so we could have our very own dream come true.

I cannot speak highly enough about not only the personable service we received from [name removed] and his staff but just how apparent it was that the love we share for this ring, he also shares. We could not have asked for a better Jeweller than the one we found in [name removed]. He not only made our dream come true and brought our ring into reality, but could also see that [name removed] truly loves our ring was just as much as we do.
