Ripped off. Charges too much . Over $1000 for an antenna. Beware!!!!!!

BEWARE - SCAM LICENCE PLATE 401KR2 – I fell victim to this scam as well. Tech arrives and inserts a tester into the wall adaptor ports. You can actually see him click the buttons down to show you 'poor reception'. Then insists he will install a top of the range - best in the area antenna and amplifier. Turns out it was a $99 Jaycar antenna and a $30 amp - 1 hours work...$1300!!!!!! Moves onto the next victim. Drives a chinese brown vehicle licence plate number 401KR2.

Not happy – Over charge for job. Fit basic antenna replacing existing antenna. 30minutes. $759.00 PLUS consistent badgering to buy more expensive antenna. Then trying to con me into a booster. Not happy. Show details

VERY BAD – This company sent a technician who said we needed a new antenna but told us he could restore reception with an amplifier and some cabling. It worked for about a day or two. We were charged over $1300. Today we had a well known franchise install a new antenna complete for less than $700. PefectTV Picture used poor quality and unsuitable products.… Read more

We were ripped off. Please do not use this company, they are crooks. I just wish I'd read the reviews first. Please read the reviews, they are all bad for a good reason.

Rip off – TV Antenna man ABN 73950988003, overcharge. Replace storm damaged antenna, didn’t even test or view to see if it needed replacing. Twenty minutes later $1,500 charged. Asked for quote told just done three other jobs in the area, insurance will pay. When I did my homework I realised I had been overcharged and questioned it only to be told, tough you accepted the quote. Bullied into it more likely. Wish I had read the reviews on this company.

Advised to replace the antenna, then charged to fixed the issue – The Antenna man said there was low signal and suggested to replace the antenna, When the antenna was replace still no signal, no FTA stations. Then did some fiddling in the roof and the connection to the TV and there was signal. Average Digital antenna $1089.00 Double the other companies. Do not use this company - absolute rip off – Wish we would have seen all the bad reviews first. Got charged $250 labour for about an hours work. The mark up on there products is ludicrous. Amplifyer $89 retail but charged us $300 then antenna is $64.56 retail and they stung us $450. Watch out as they have multiple business names so do your homework first…. Our invoice shows ABN 73 950 988 003. Definitely would never use again nor recommend to anybody else.

It took me several phone calls for the antenna man to come back to check the imperfect tv picture he left us with. 4 months after installing the antenna, he finally came to our home and fixed it. But he was annoyed and left in a hurry, slamming the door and swearing.

These people are thieves – These people charged me over $1500 for less than 30 minutes work, invoicing over $700 for the antenna and close to $500 for the amplifier. They then charged my credit card an additional $300 over and above what was on the invoice. THIEVES!

to my roof, splitters and cable, no change out of $2,200 an absolute ripoff, have called several times, no answer, have emailed them too to no avail, never give this phone number a call, many business names under this ABN, avoid at all costs

RIP OFF – Do not under any circumstances use these rip off merchants..keep listening to your radio until you can get a local guy. This guy is a con artist – [Name Removed] came to look at why I was getting not tv. Told me I needed new antenna, new wiring, new amplifier infact new everything. He then cut the wire to the aerial. Told him no - go away. He had quoted $950.00. I have just had the job done and now I have the tv working. Total cost $310.00, bloody robber, do not use this guy. me I need antenna booster ..a must ok..sure but adds another $100 so $680 all up. I've not checked aerial installed but booster is $21.50 I feel a little ripped off. Esp as this business is not even in my state owned by individual in Vic using 20 other business names to capture work..disappointed however I do have reception if I can add a positive to support 1 star. Over priced – This guy came around .said this and that had to be done.said it was an old cable made had to be replaced ..sounded like a big job did it about 20 minutes said it was connected thru sattelite dish..i had a closer look about 3 weeks later .used the old cable and looked at the sattelite and he just sticky taped the old cable to post to make it look… Read more

DODGY – We had a brand new $1500 antenna installed 7 years ago. We recently had interference issues and our TVs were not working. They said we needed a new antenna and booster. Of course the mid price did not work, so had to upgrade - then this didnt work. We are now out of pocket $1100 and still no better off. Value Antennas brilliant!! – We called for an installation, got the technician to come same day, he spent time problem solving and delivering optimum service for a older house with challenges. Really appreciated the porfessionalism, and cheerfulness. Highly recommended to anyone. Excellent job Mike!

Scammers – Antenna Man Bayswater - Had a technician out to check what was causing interference on my TV. After checking a few things he suggested a new antenna which I agreed to. After all, he is the expert! Problem turned out to be the internet dongle causing the interference. Company not prepared to offer any sort of refund for purchasing an antenna that I didn't need. Disgusting service – Bought a brand new Tv had 2 young inexperienced boys come to install it. Left us with all the mess and didnt test the TV to see if it worked. Paid 450 to have the tv mounted, they wrecked my wall and broke the antenna. We approached the office and had a senior come out tested the TV and said it was faulty send it back! technician out and we later found that the pin of the antenna was forced and broken, hence why the boys couldnt get out quick enough! On calling the office I spoke to the owner and told him politely what happened I said I wanted the mount put up properly my wall fixed and my tv replaced as the piece cannot be bought. No show, no apologies, overpriced – Technician did not show up to the booked appointment. Called and explained my situation, no apologies or anything - was then quoted a ridiculous price over the phone of $200-$300 for a single antenna point lol. Didn't turn up, no communication – Booked for Saturday for 11am, made it clear that I couldn't stick around, technician did a no show. Called in to find out what was going on and was told that I wasn't booked in for 11am, it was actually 11am-3pm, this pretty important point was never communicated to me. Would have been fine if they told me this, instead the whole thing was a complete waste of time.

Positive Experience – Quite impressed. After getting the run around from Austar after they failed to install the day they were supposed to for my new house was left needing an antenna just for free view channels. Called this company and a friendly technician was around [name removed] within 90 mins and installed an antenna all working perfectly within an hour. As name suggests they installed that day.

Installing new TV points – After installing a TV antenna and 2 points in my new house I called this company back to install another 6 points and they used different wall outlets?
