with the faces. Can opt to have a rolling slideshow of my photos from my phone. Can use Apple Pay on here, track my work outs, turn off phone notifications, text, call etc. It is water resistant so I can swim and shower with it.

Motorhome. We also planned to go hiking so we wanted a watch with GPS to track where we are, in case we got lost or accidentally veered off the track and we could send a signal or call each other from our watch. ✅

We wanted to count our steps rather than lugging our iPhones around which the latter I found challenging. I often forgot my iPhone because I didn’t have pockets on the clothing I was wearing. ✅

We wanted a long charge life, only once has my Apple Watch needed charging while wearing, and that was on holiday over a couple of days of frequent use. This watch fit the bill ✅

My husband had a fall soon after Christmas and it immediately detected this and responded with an alarm to call emergency services, which hubby turned off. As thankfully I was nearby at the time and was able to immediately help. This feature blew our mind! To this day it is a stand out feature that we truly appreciate as my hubby is a Diabetic and when he has low sugar has blacked out on occasion. It’s a life saviour and gives us (especially me) peace of mind for his well-being if I’m not around. ✅

It’s amazing at setting our fitness levels and tracking if we’re on point and reaching our goals. It makes us push ourselves because we can see at a quick glance of our wrists! ✅

The Blood monitor and ECG, are great for overall health reasons but also after fitness as we can monitor our levels. ✅

The built in alarm is perfect for reminders on what’s coming up as I often leave my phone while doing things and miss the alarm going off. Not with my watch as it’s the first thing I put on when I wake and the last to go off. ✅

The night light when it’s on my bedside dresser is great if I wake through the night. I just tap the watch face and can check and it switches itself off quickly without lighting up the room and disturbing my sleeping hubby beside me ✅

A feature we only realised recently was the torch! Switching off the lights in the house at night and walking in the dark to our room hoping not to bang into anything. I wondered if it had a torch, stopped and checked and found it. Amazing! Bright enough to guide us to our bedroom. ✅

The choices of clock faces to suit our tastes and needs. And I can pick and choose any photo saved on my iPhone as my clock wallpaper. I love this feature as I can interchange with my grandbabies photos and favourite photos of my hubby and I on our adventures or our furbabies. ✅

We liked the interchangeable watch straps that we could easily purchase and change if we wanted casual or formal. ✅

We chose the bigger 45 mm size as we both wear glasses and are glad we did. ✅

Being able to answer an urgent phone call or respond to messages through our watches still marvels me. How so far technology has advanced. ✅

A great variety of built in apps, we both have our favourite go to’s. Some we use regularly and others we’re still figuring out (there’s a lot). We can add other apps with useful features as well. What is included in the Apple Watch is impressive to our needs. ✅

Using our Apple Watch to pay for purchases is a nifty feature if I accidentally forget my wallet (and I have on the rare occasion) but to safe face (embarrassment) at checkout, I used my watch! With my card safely stored. ✅

My Audible app is on my Watch so I can walk around our house and yard cleaning and still listen through my Bluetooth headphones. Brilliant as I love my Audible and listening to books almost daily. ✅

Checking emails on my wrist is invaluable if we’re out and about and waiting for an important email to come in allowing us to respond in a timely manner. ✅

Secure login, just enter my code and I can use all features. Peace of mind if I lost my watch (heaven forbid) and no one can access my features and private info. ✅

We are so grateful we invested in purchasing an Apple Watch for each other. We went to the Apple Store in Robina on the Gold Coast as we wanted to talk to a sales person direct. We wanted to see the features and feel the watch in person. They were amazing, so knowledgeable and friendly and a smooth transaction. We walked out with the happiest of grins on our faces. ✅

It’s 11months since we did and I haven’t had a single issue. Unlike my Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max which is under a year old, but I’ll leave that for another review. When we purchased our watches we didn’t truly appreciate how convenient they would become and I’m grateful that my son kept on encouraging us to do so. It’s exceeded all expectations. We love our Apple Watches and couldn’t do without it now. ✅
