Watch Series 9 GPS + Cellular 41-mm Aluminium

I have Series 9 (Cellular) it is Brilliant, so versatile & easy to use, over the Moon, with my Purchase. I read many people complaining, probably haven’t taken the time to Set Up Correctly. Cellular works with Mobile Towers. The further away from Mobile Towers & in the Country areas or out of big cities, means less Reception for Smartphones,… Read more

Watches etc my Provider is OPTUS My Son has iWatch 10 Ultra, he previously had the 8 Series - he is more than impressed with the 10. The Watches are a brilliant piece of Technology, providing it has been Set Up correctly & people understand how it works.!!

Watch Series 9 GPS + Cellular 41-mm Aluminium

I’ve had my Apple Watch now for approximately 12 months and it has been great. Recently I had a car accident and I was amazed how the watch contacted the Police and my emergency contacts. Fortunately I was not hurt, but the police, ambulance and fire truck arrived all because my Apple Watch contacted emergency. All I had to do was contact my insurance company. I would definitely recommend an Apple Watch. Thank you Apple. Show details

DO NOT BUY!! See my review 2 years ago. Still a host of issues - cellular doesn’t work properly, handwashing app and reminders doesn’t work, the watch face goes to sleep within 15 seconds even while actually using the screen (I also have it set to 70 seconds), screen has to be tapped multiple times to wake up, keyboard numbers or letters have… Read more

to be tapped multiple times sometimes, and most of the time the notifications don’t even come through (reminders, calls, or texts).

I get the same old cr^p basic steps from Apple to “trouble-shoot”. Nothing has EVER been fixed. I’ve even been told just to wait until the next update(s) to see IF there MAY be a fix. Each time you contact them for help, you start at the beginning triage, rather THANK go deal directly with one senior expert, so you have to repeat your complaint from scratch. Then you get random emails from them saying they tried to ring you but you didn’t answer - False! No missed calls whatsoever.

How is this product still selling!? How are more people not experiencing issues with it and complaining!? It doesn’t do many things it claims to so does this not warrant a complaint via Consumer Affairs??

I’ve asked repeatedly (since I first bought the watch) to give me a refund but they keep telling me to try to fix the issues. I’ve even had the watch fully replaced. The same issues occur. Apple told me that maybe the watch doesn’t pair well with my phone. An Apple phone. I even got the brand new iPhone. Same issues. So Apple, are you telling me that your phones and their partner watches don’t actually pair well? The absurdity! Clearly this is a dodgy product and they’re just too big of a company to give a d^mn.

Another great product from Apple! This is an honest review based on my experience. Previously I had fitbits. The first thing that struck me was the seamless connectivity with my iPhone. The quality of the calls from my watch was impressive. At one stage I had a Samsung watch which was ok but apple quality shines through. You can wear watches in… Read more

the pool with no issues. My Samsung watch died in the pool. RIP Samsung watch. My partner bought the apple se watch and very happy with it. It’s also waterproof to 100m. The technology in these watches is phenomenal. It even has a walkie talkie feature which is cool. The always on feature is good.

Negatives… you need a third party app installed on your iPhone for a step counter. Battery life is only good for a day so needs charging every night.

5 stars from me even with the 2 baby negatives I’ve listed which doesn’t bother me at all. I highly recommend any Apple Watch.

Good overall experience and would recommend – Excellent quality watch. Battery health 100%. This was a refurbished watch that was rated as excellent quality. It lived up to expectations. Postage was a little slow - took around 5 days.

A device should come with everything you need to use it – Well done apple. You sell me a device that cost over $700 and you don’t supply a plug so I can charge it! This is just cheap and nasty. Show details

Wasn’t on my want list, but loving it – (One star removed as it is a very expensive item, and not something I’d buy for myself.) As a mostly stay-at-home non-techy retiree, I happily live in the easy-to-use idiot-proof Apple universe with my MacAir, iPad and iPhone. An Apple watch was not in my want list as I don’t even wear an ordinary watch regularly. But my children gave me one as a… Read more

present, so ….

After nearly 2 months, I can say it has added a whole lot of convenience to my daily life. After being shown how to set it up and to change stuff around to tweak it to what I discover I use/need/want in my daily life, I’m loving it.

The magnetic metal bracelet the watch came with, makes it easy to put on and take off. The provided charger charges the watch very, very fast, charging to nearly 100% from <20% in about 20-30 minutes. However, only a charging cable is provided, not a wall plug and I am lucky that I have spare Apple wall plugs from my many years of using Apple products.

I don’t use the watch’s capabilities to its fullest extent, but the little I do use is so very useful. The things I do use daily are: 1. Track that I am getting off my [Content Removed] and moving, standing and exercising, like getting a tap on the wrist with a reminder to stand/move when I’ve been sitting too long. 2. Reminders to take and log my medicines and supplements. 3. Ask Siri for answers e.g. convert 200 gm of flour to cups, instead of having to look it up. 4. Check the weather conditions, time etc without looking for my phone or iPad. 5. Feeling a tap on the wrist when a message or call comes in when I’m out and about and my phone is in my handbag.

Healthwise, the background tracking and alerts to deviations from trends e.g. heart rate, walking steadiness etc would be especially useful at my age and as I grow older. The built-in oximeter to measure oxygen in the blood, and the ECG app are also useful should I need it.

The fall alerts and emergency location/alerts also give my children peace of mind as they can track Mum and know that they’ll be alerted in case of emergencies.

All in all, I’m very fortunate and am loving this extremely useful gift.

Flawed product and TERRIBLE customer service – LONG story short, some of the issues I encountered included: - Watch cellular capability had issues - Watch face not waking up on receipt of notifications (therefor unable to answer calls etc) - Watch randomly going to sleep even while in use (eg after 2 seconds of wake up or while trying to use Wallet to pay for something) After several months… Read more

back and forth to the Apple Store (a 40min drive each way), numerous phones calls, and the watch being sent off for diagnostics, it was replaced. Some of the same issues persisted, namely: - Handwashing app and reminders never working - Notifcafions randomly going straight to Notification Centre without an audible alert or vibration. - sometimes calls and sms fail, both incoming and outgoing, even if my phone is nearby and both are connected properly to Bluetooth or the same wifi network. This is important because I bought the watch primary, as a busy mum who cannot whip out my phone all the time, to be able to communicate with my children’s father and caregiver easily when needed.

Again, several months back and forth to the store, phone calls, still no fix.

I have worked unsuccessfully with seven senior technicians and probably double the amount of non senior staff.

I understand it takes time to resolve software issues, however, my main complaint is the lack of customer support - particularly not receiving call backs as promised and having no way of communicating directly with my case manager therefore leading me to have to start from the beginning of basic triage and support each time.

The email with messaging/audio recording options that I have received from only three of the seven case managers go completely unanswered. Absolutely a pointless as a means of communication!

I had lodged a formal complaint including to Ombudsmand. And in more than four occasions, I asked Apple about the status of my complaint, to see their complaints policy, to obtain a refund, etc. Apple train their staff to very expertly to evade any such questions or statements.

How do u get a huge organisation like Apple to show their customers any respect as far as consumer rights and customer service. I’m a busy working parent and have spent 45 hours trying to resolve my issues not to mention the costs of travel, parking, time and energy wasted when I need to work or care for my child, and the distress it’s caused me which has been visible to my child witnessing me getting upset.

I’ve been a loyal, loyal, loyal Apple customer for like 12 years. Never had an issue until now upon purchasing my watch and new phone, the 15 pro max. I was about to swap to Android but I went with the Apple phone because you need it in order to have and use the Apple Watch. I regret buying this watch and phone and wish I went with Android.

Hoping Ombudsman can help me now to refund both items. What is the use of buying the phone in order to use the watch when the watch doesn’t even work properly. And what’s worse is giving your hard earned money to company who treats you like crap.

Decent watch but hasn't met all my expectations – I bought the watch 4 months ago as I loved the ad of the man stranded in the ocean and was able to call for help using his watch! I thought, that's for me all over! The Good: so many amazing features, such a putting any photo or picture you want as the face, when talking to people via the watch, I can hear them clearly, still looks feminine (you… Read more

can order excellent accessories for next to nothing online via AlliExpress etc), the phone linked features are easy to use (and Im not a techy) and its comfortable to wear. The Bad: Being a runner, there's a 3 second count down, which is undesirable given I want to chose when to start the running timer, not 3 seconds later. This has really annoyed me. Im not allergic to plastic but the origin band left a nasty rash on my wrist, that took 1-2 weeks to clear.! I've had to get a different type of band. The battery only lasts about 16 hours, I must recharge it each day, I thought it would just last longer.
