over $400. I did ask for a quote on a new oven element along with images of the oven but of course no response. I have since bought a whole new oven for $600. I’m planning to get into the oven repair business tomorrow!

Washing machine – My parents washing stopped working. And they looked in the messenger newspaper (Adelaide) and I really nice man called Peter was advised. did not have the part. In requesting their service I had clearly described the part needed for repair. They advised that the part would be available in about 2 days. After a number of unanswered calls to determine if the part arrived and an expected date of repair I went to another repairer and had the machine repaired in 3 working days. My Credit Card was debited by Appliance RepairsOnline without my authority despite the work NOT being done. Then trying to recover the payment was an experience in dealing with the most obnoxious and unpleasant individual. NSW Fair Trading have received many complaints about this Company and the ACCC have also been notified. Do not use Appliance Repairs Online.

They will charge your credit card before providing any labour or service and will not honor their guarantee to refund the money even if the job is never completed. While the initial customer service is friendly, you are left to deal with [name removed] once you are charged who is incredibly rude and uninterested in discussing your case or providing any kind of resolution. Rip Off – I booked a service for a dishwasher repair for $175 call out fee however the servicemen decided not to show without calling. I then re-booked for the following day but then decided to cancel, I was abused by the servicemen and then after ignoring his calls, he turns up to my front door threatening me. Then I find that I have been slugged with the full $175 fee. Stay clear of this dodgy mob!
