Great Service. Pity about the information on cost.
Wolf told us to contact AWG to check our cooktop. No-one else was possible. The phone message quoted service charges, then we were charged more.
With a little more phone help and some written instructions, we could have avoided a service call.
5 week wait
Was told the part was 3-5 day I took 4week and I was without a fridge the whole time and I was booked in twice which I had to pay someone twice to sit at my house for the day because me and my wife both work then I still get charge $400 for an hour of labour it is ridiculous
Good service and friendly technician.
We had an ILVE dishwasher not working. I sent an email because it was the weekend. We received a phone call from AGW on Monday and the job was organised for the next week because of Easter. Had a text the day before the service to say the tech will arrive between 2-5. He arrives at 2.05 found the problem and organised the replacement parts all while keeping us informed about the process.
First class service.
The service man arrived in time ,
he was helpful with advice and best of all he found the problem and fixed it !!!!
The cost was of the repair was reasonable.
Rip off Artists - Call someone else if you need your appliances fixed
Call AGWS in early Dec 2021 to have a defrosting issue fixed on our Liebherr fridge, we paid over $800 to have the fridge fixed and it wasn't, the fridge was still not defrosting, so I called them a week later to advise that the fridge was still not defrosting, they asked me to defrost it AGAIN manually and leave it off for 24 hours which we did, but needless to say, the problem kept on re-occurring, so I called them again and again and again and got nowhere. Cut of long story short, it is now March and the fridge is still not defrosting, so I...told them that they need to send a technician out because all their solutions were just not working, and they had the hide to tell me that I need to pay the $130 call out fee AGAIN in order for them to send a technician out, as their guarantee period is 1 month after the service. I advised the consultant that I called them within a week after the service advising that the problem wasn't fixed so why would I have to pay AGAIN when I had already called and informed them numerous times that the problem wasn't fixed well and truly within that 1 month guarantee period. They basically said that was there company policy, so pretty much bad luck, that's the decision management had made. Extremely poor customer service. We are now over $800 out of pocket with a fridge that is still not defrosting. Do yourself a favour, if you need your appliances fixed call someone else, because these people are happy to take your money, not fix the problem and ask your to pay again to fix the problem that they didn't fix to start off with. Very disappointed
Process was poor. They treat you like a criminal and have cero empathy for the customer.
They get services through LG, as LG does not have services in Australia. I bought an expensive LG washing machine, 1 year old only, the customer service from both LG and All General Whitegoods Service was bad.
They first treat you like it's your fault, they both kept repeating that I will be the one paying for the services instead of using the warranty if found that I did a bad use of it. I personally don't know how I could damage the seal of the door, I have been using washing machines for over 30 years and never had this issue before. I en...ded up waiting almost 2 weeks to get it repair: 1) My washing machine got broken on a Monday morning, I contacted LG through chat, LG language was to make me feel I would be the responsible one if found I made the a bad use of it, I get it! but what about let's try to see what has happened and we'll go from there, there are ways to use a better language. They also made a mistake on my address after noting them on writing twice over their Chat. 2) Whitegoods made mistakes on my phone number so I could not get notified when the parts got in as they use a sms system, making me be the one calling them back all the time. When I told them that I had this issue the girl on the phone told me to call instead (great for customer services instead of trying to figure what happen - it looks they made a typo on the secondary phone number and the system was sending texts to this secondary number instead of the primary which had my number correctly) 3) Language used was "Cero" empathetic, I only heard this is your fault and you'll pay for it without even looking at it. Please remember that the people on the phone are humans and your customer and should be treat with empathy, regardless who pays for it (customer or lg) 4) Technician came a week later (next Monday), same as the language used over the phone and lg's chat, before even asking me how he could help me or even looking at the issue he spent about 2 minutes showing me photos of other washing machines where the customer was on fault and were liable to pay the full amount - seriously I get, by this time they have told me this about 4 times!!!. Then, my washing machine was elevated and he told me that had be put on the floor and he didn't want me to hurt myself, ok, so I offer to get help from my neighbor but he said he wasn't prepared for it as he had about 3 hernias and wasn't gong to do it. I told him if that was the case how they didn't have a process in place to find out before they got into someone's home. Poor process! 5) Head office had to call me back to reschedule another day, in order to send 2 technicians, they call me about 3 times to change the dates 6) I managed to get $50 discount, although spent about $150 washing outside home, after getting very upset over the phone. I get it's not their fault my washing machine is broken but it is their fault their process it's broken and lost about 7 days on getting two people available from the start as they didn't check the position of my washing machine and neither my details right, so something that could have been fixed in 3 business days, regardless of who paid (me or lg, although I paid and never said anything negative about it) ended up being 2 weeks. I have a family with 2 kids and we also got gastro during the second week while my washing machine wasn't working, again no their fault but all could have been smoother if they treated me like a human a not a criminal and had the right process in place!! Please remember! When thinking on buying an expensive appliance ensure you look that they have australian based customer services like electrolux or fisher & paykel. Price of the appliance does not match customer service at all!!
The service we received was excellent. The phone call was handled in a very professional manner and the technician arrived on the due date. He repaired our Liebherr fridge/freezer without any problems.

charged for multiple visits. Oven still not working
This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. They tried to fix my gas top burners. Still not working properly. My range hood was working before they arrived then they leave and suddenly it doesn't work. Kerrie, who looks after the complaints is rude and argumentative. She doesn't listen to the customer or take ownership for their technicians mistakes. I've already paid them about $600 and something and all I have in return is gas burners that still don't work properly. They are trying to get me to pay for a range hood that was worki...ng fine before they got there. They have caused me nothing but pain. I will never use these guys again. Like some of the other negative reviews have mentioned, they turn up with the wrong parts which is very inconvenient when I lose a day of work due to their incompetence. I will say the repairman was a nice guy but at the end of the day I feel severely ripped off. I have decided to cut my losses and just never use them again. I won't forget the name all general whitegoods service. Everyone be careful.
A very nice service repairman came to look at my dishwasher, he knew the product and advised me promptly on what was involved with the issue, All General Whitegoods know their stuff!

Good and friendly service. Ordered the part beforehand and install/repair on site in one hour. Speedy, punctual and pro-repairng plus a reasonable charge, my LG washer was very well repaired, a job well done...
Honest reliable and know what they do.
The technician that came to repair our fridge after an absolute botched job from another company was fantastic. Resolved issue straight away and fixed the problem. Cost of parts was 1/5 of other companies.
I think they are professional and highly recommend.

Our fridge stopped cooling in the middle of this plandemic. AGW sent a very experienced technician within 3 days and replaced the main condenser fan that was the cause of the cooling problem. Very professional service.

I have a Maytag refrigerator that has been running for 21 years without issue until lately when it is no longer able to keep low temperature. Freezer is -2 degree and fridge is 16 degree! Is it worth fixing or am I better off buying a new fridge.
