The lady I spoke to was very helpful & pleasant they sent sms to confirm & another on Sunday (booking was Mon arvo) The mechanic was pleasant & diagnosed the problem. Replaced the part (which seemed a little pricey) & dishwasher was working again. Would recommend this company for service.

fault. With my engineering background, I managed to isolate the fault to low refrigerant. I left the internal panels and covers removed and called Alpha Appliance Repairs to specifically send a qualified technician to recharge the refrigerant gas. They promptly send a person who arrived at my property at 8:54 am on 8/1/26. The first thing I noticed is that the person did not have with him any tools or parts, not even a screwdriver to remove the internal panels to enable him to check the internals of the freezer. I thought to myself: This guy must have superpowers, like high-power X-ray vision, to check the freezer without opening it. That guy (I wouldn't call him a technician) walked around the freezer for exactly 5 minutes then told me that could not repair the freezer. He left at 9:11 am that morning. Total time spent, including lots of chat, was 17 minutes. For this con job, I was charged A$189.87. When I complained to the company they replied that that was the cost of the expert advice of their so-called expert technician … what a scam it was.

find out no special part was brought or required came back to fix only to be told it was something else that was wrong with my fridge. I was concerned that he did know what he was doing told him to put everything back the way it was as I had a gut feeling that he had no idea what was wrong (as I had all intentions of calling someone else) this person took a piece of a part that he wasn't supposed too when putting things back (thank goodness the other technician i called had a replaceable part) lost 220 dollars, took a part of the fridge that was needed and it cost me to have another technician come out to fix my fridge plus the missing part that he took without my knowledge. So please do not use this company.
