Terrible product – Do not buy. I mounted it on the wall and it's first use, it wouldn't retract. When I opened it up to see the issue it fell apart. A useless item that should neither be sold nor bought.

didn’t even last 6 months before I heard the internal retraction spring fail when I was pulling the hose out to use…..now left with four bracket mounting holes in my concrete wall that will no doubt not line up with the next non-Bunnings house reel I buy. Recommendation: if you do decide to purchase, ensure you don’t wait a year or so to put it up (long story), and make sure you keep your receipt, you will definitely need it!

Save your money!!! – Absolute cheap Chinese rubbish. If you do purchase one make sure hose is completely empty before retracting or hose will never fully return. Also often tends to get jammed. Spray head like all them now just leaks constantly. Show details

Not Happy – I have an Aqua Systems wall mounted hose reel and when I pull it out to how far I want it, it keeps on retracting and it takes about a minute for it to stay still. I have to pull to try and make it stop retracting then when I start hosing it leaks more water than I use to hose. Show details

WORST PRODUCT – I bought this hose reel because it was the only 30m one available and is supposedly a Holman product. Within a year I couldn’t pull the hose out without using all my strength. It turns out the plastic holders attached to my brick wall aren’t strong enough and the casing started leaning. I want answers from the manufacturers. Carol Show details

Not worth the hassle – Purchased two and both jammed within months, not easy to fix either. Since then found the drum is unable to fully take the whole hose letting it roll off to the side Had to dismantle so many times they ended up in the bin Show details

Very happy – We have 2 of these, price point was great although we did have to purchase trigger nozzle separately. Length is perfect for our needs. Have had no issues retracting the hose and both have remained mounted for nearly 2 years no issues. Best purchase for the garden - I hate winding up the hose and this does the hard work for me as I walk back to turn off the tap.  Show details

Gets my approval, I have 4 of them – Very good value. Works very well. hollow has started to collapse with the weight on the first one I purchased.Have overcome the problem by inserting a piece of 1/2" aluminium tube inside the pivot pin. (dowel would suffice)

because the plastic housing was so flimsy it was bending at the back where it was attached to the wall and the case had separated at the seam allowing it to fall forward and the hose was catching on the casing which was preventing the retraction. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?????

Cheap Bunnings Rubbish! – We bought two of these after being sick of tangled hoses! Very poor quality on both units as the retraction system won’t lock into position where you require it to. It continually rewinds the hose all the way back in so you spend your time battling the retraction system while trying to water the garden! It’s so very hard to by anything not made in China! Show details

retraction - fail ! – i am always sceptical of these things ...and told my family so. They just say i am old fashioned. Well this thing lasted two weeks, used it maybe ten times max. The retraction system failed, so now it stays fully wound in, and you can't unwind it as the lock doesn't work. Throw it in the bin. Show details

Almost lasted a week – Bolted it to the side of my deck. Pulled it out to water the garden each night for 5 days. When retracting on the 5th day it jammed. It will neither go in or pull out. I will attempt a repair but are not confident. Back to the manual hose hanger. Show details

Buy cheap buy twice – One of the cheapest auto hose reels at Bunnings and now I know why. Spend more one reputable ones because once this tangles in the casing you're stuffed and I see I am not the only one to experience this.
