Works perfectly after 18 months of use – Bought the system for our new kitchen and after 18months of two person use, still getting really improved water taste. The water taste without it is really yuk without it.

Great value and really effective – Absolutely brilliant for making Perth tap water drinkable! Couldn't be happier with the system. Had a different brand before which leaked, and didn't remove the chlorine taste. This system has been really good.
Bad – Purchased the M series 2 stage filter, was great initially but it failed within 6 months. There is a pin in the head of the unit which would get stuck sometimes and there would be no water flow, releasing the cartridge would sometimes get it to work again but the problem keeps coming back and it gets really annoying to have to remove and re-insert continuously.
The tap was really nice though and saves you from having a separate spout for filtered water. The design had good appeal, nice idea, space saving and easy to install. Unit unreliable, more expensive than other filters.
That could be the case, however I have replaced this unit with another similar due to the space and have not had any problems. Perhaps the aquaport just could not deal with higher pressures. Thanks Rob this would be helpful for others looking at the system.

That's a water pressure saftey lockout, I had te same problem and fitted a inline pressure reduction valve, same brand and available at bunnings and it solved the problem
