Have had a Pura tap for over 25 years. Bought 3 Pura taps for our last 3 homes we have lived in in that time. Was glad I found the product as was far cheaper than having deliveries of heavy bottles we had prior for years. Love that the water just tastes wet and enjoyable - no taste in it! bottles that you had to tip upside down into a base you had to also clean. In our last installation of Puratap we had a nice tap installed which one Lever was for pura tap to use to fill a saucepan for cooking, a kettle or glass and the other was unfiltered water for dishes and dishwasher. No monthly maintenance just every 11 months we opted Puratap organised for our filters to be changed for a very minimal charge which would more than likely be the cost of the filters if we installed them ourselves paying just under $86 today. Would highly recommend for someone that wants clean tasteless water on tap for their whole family year round with no effort.

No weekend and out of hours options – Ive had my puratap for years. Have tried a competitors product when I had my kitchen renovated but went back to Puratap for the taste. myself. Had the filter changed two days ago but Ive had to turn it off as its started leaking and I dont want to ruin my new cabinetry. The whole process takes about 10 mins so Im not sure why they wouldnt be able to accommodate customers using a couple of weekend casuals. Other than that, the service is reasonably good.

Great after sale service – We had an issue with the system, there was an odour coming out from the puratap system, They came and tested the water quality and replaced the tap, filter and tubes for free. All working perfectly now.

not fixed & after ringing the company again -we were told that they were going to send a Plumber out on the Saturday (eta between 9:30>2:30pm) to fix it. My husband stayed home all day& no one turned up or called. I rang the company on the Monday morning& they sent someone out that afternoon to replace the faulty filter. @Puratap explained that they had an I.T. issue on the weekend hence why no-one turned up. I asked for a reimbursement for the 5hrs lost on the weekend& for the cost of having to purchase drinking water for the 6days without filtered water. I was offered only $10 deduction off my next filter change. When I questioned @Puratap on their thoughts on how our whole Saturday wasted was worth to them only $10, I was told that 9:30>2:30pm was hardly a "full day" wasted. Suffice to say, we will be looking for an alternative replacement for filtered water because of the way they have treated us as long-term loyal customers.

No experience fitters just a joke – Any plumber can see how badly this was fitted you tell me how long this would last only lasted 15 months approximately and did damage of $8000.I am taking it all out. Aproxima time of upgrade was September November 2018 Show details

Great friendly service. Best prices in town for beautiful clean water

 Follow-up  · It is very easy to install and maintain. The installation took maybe 5 minutes if that. These guys are very professional so it is a very quick process. There is no comparison in the taste of the now beautiful water. I personally can no longer stand the taste of ordinary tap water and think of what you are not allowing into your body. I thouroughly recommend Pura Tap to you and you will never regret getting it. ACT NOW

Puratap is so much nicer to drink than tap water. I use it for cooking, when I buy flowers I use it in the vase, it seems to make the flowers las a bit longer, I have even noticed a difference in my hair when I use it in a spray bottle. Couldn't be happier with Puratap.

 Follow-up  · The tap problem was with the O-ring. Getting someone to fix it took a bit but the booking was quicker. They fixed it in a couple of minutes.

I do not recommend this company or their products. Since having an annual filter change by a Puratap tradesmen four days ago, we have a terrible smell in the cupboard where the new filter is located. Puratap at their call centre four days after the filter change. The phone operator was extremely rude and unhelpful. She asked me repeatedly what the bad smell smelled like and kept talking over me when I tried to answer her questions. I told her repeatedly that it was a disgusting smell that smelt like garbage or sewage, and told her it was difficult to describe the smell other than it was disgusting. Instead of listening to me, she kept asking me what the bad smell smelled like. She then told me she would not continue with the phone call claiming that I was raising my voice. I denied raising my voice and told her that the call was on speaker whilst I was doing other things. She became ruder and ruder and again threatened to not speak with me despite me explaining that I was not raising my voice with her. I eventually asked her out of complete exasperation, was she going to help me resolve this problem or would I need to take it to the ACCC. She told me that I was welcome to take my complaint to the ACCC. So thanks a lot for your lack of help from a long-term customer Puratap. I called you with a legitimate problem that was not present before your tradesmen changed the tap filter. And instead of receiving consumer support under your warranty, your phone operator was not only rude and unhelpful, but told me to escalate my complaint to the ACCC. I am absolutely disgusted with your bad customer service and refusal to honour your product warranty. I wasn’t even provided with a receipt by Puratap for the filter change done four days ago until I requested a receipt in a formal complaint to Puratap today after the rude and unhelpful phone call to their call centre (not providing a receipt is another breach of Australian Consumer Law). So I will complain to the ACCC as well as Consumer and Business Services SA and you have lost a long-term customer who will never recommend your company again.

Have used Pura Tap for as many years as I can remember. Staff are always prompt, polite and friendly. Yes it is another expence but worth it to know our water is clean. Many in the Hills complain their water tastes vial. Ours is fine. I have renewed the tap in 2024. Show details

We had our Puratap tap replaced (it was old) but it was leaking. It only took two days from our phone call for a rep to come and replace it. Happy with the service.

 Follow-up  · New tap works perfectly. There was no charge.

Love Puratap. We’ve had the double filter one a long time and have it serviced yearly. The technician is always friendly and on time and replaced anything required. It’s a much better system than anything else we have researched.

kitchen in a mess twice (photo attached). The second visit was to fix the first bad install — the replacement tap was fitted visibly crooked. When challenged, I was told: “It’s not leaking, so it’s fine.” I had to force the job to be redone. I then requested a call from senior management. No response. This reflects a systemic problem: poor workmanship, no accountability, and complete indifference once payment is taken. I’ll be removing the system and warning others to avoid Puratap

 Follow-up  · No compensation was offered at all just a "please give us another chance"sms The communication from Sophie in customer service was great and she was the only shining light. The Technician had no idea what to do as the washer he needed to fit was to large for the area he had.I grinded and shaped the washer so it could fit.As previously mentioned the Technician was just in a rush to leave and to be somewere else as he had a busy day ahead.

contacted PureTap to report the problem, the customer service team refused to send anyone to fix it, insisting that “nothing was wrong” and that their plumber had explained everything to my mother. This is completely untrue. The plumber did not communicate anything at all — he simply completed the job and left.

The leak clearly started only after the installation, yet PureTap took no responsibility and offered no support or solution. This is extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and unfair, especially when the issue was caused shortly after their work.

I would not recommend PureTap to anyone based on this experience. Poor workmanship and even worse customer service.

floor. He pushed and pushed us to upgrade the unit saying the new one filtred out 3 "dangerous" chemicals. When I asked him to write down the names of the chemicals he simply refused. We have been with Puratap since the company started up. This will be our last year with them. Will go elsewhere for cheaper and better service.

Plumber left a mess under my sink, water on my floor, put unit in wrong place which affected my storage system & then tap leaked all over bench tops as soon as he left. Had to get him to come back & replace tap & move unit. I was offered $10 off my next service which goes nowhere near to the time lost and inconvenience caused to me. The tap was unlucky, the rest just shoddy work. Be very wary folks.

I have been reading all these reviews right back to the 2011 review and no, Puratap is not listening Adelaide, as they state. They still call a month earlier than they should so year on year the filter gets changed earlier and earlier. They still do harass you with text messages and I am now done with them.
