Ariston Hotel Bangkok

Great Hotel for Price – Ariston was booked as during this time, we were able to get a very good deal on the hotel for 1 week. This was during Covid End July 2022 and the Restrictions were easing and was a good time to travel as it was cheap. The Ariston Hotel has gone through some extensive renovations at the front and Entrance to the Hotel. Its Neighbours to the Hyatt (across the rd) Hilton next door and Sky View just down the road.

Staff at reception were very friendly, Easy to check in.

I had booked a suite, at the time it was $344 for 7 nights, Bit of a dated look, but was very clean, nice fresh clean smell and on the 8th floor. The room had a separate Living area, Bathroom was a good size with a Spa bath. There were looks to be doing some renovations on some of the floors, but this could have been unused floors due to Covid as well.

The Hotel was in a Good location, 19 Sukhumvit 24, 100m from Phrom Phong BTS Station. I used this to go everywhere, but was also a 1km walk (easy flat) to Terminal 21 and the numerous parks were close. There is plenty of Good Food eateries around as well. There is a great Cafe at the front that does a really good Milk Honey Tea.

The Hotel does Breakfast, a good egg and bacon etc buffet as well as Thai breaky and there was a chef doing Omlets as well made to Order, selection of Tea, coffee, juices, Cereal and fruits.

There is a Pool and outdoor area on Level 4, quite a good size with a few lounge chairs to relax in the sun.

Overall, I couldn't complain about the Ariston Hotel, we enjoyed the stay and will love to stay again.
