its nice – I am so satisfied with this product's features/controls and its performance applying different settings I do rinse and sometimes scrape dishes before putting them in the dishwasher no, it did not, in fact I used it for more than 6 months and it did not happen to me , so It was ok to me Show details
Easy to use and cleans the dishes very well – We're super impressed with the Ariston M132CAUS the price was great for starters and its water and power star rating was mid range compaired to other brands. It's simply to use load the dishes up then add in the tablet or soap close the door then enter the wash mode you want and then press go! That simple and clean plates come out after Show details
Dreadful Quality! – I have been using this brand in my rental for three years. No matter what setting I pre arrange, it does not do a good job. I rinse the dishes before I place them in and yet they still come out dirty. Have used products to give it a ‘clean out”- doesn’t help. Not recommended! Show details

Brilliant Results – I purchased this Ariston dishwasher based on the reviews, as I had never heard of them before. I had been unhappy with a basic level Bosch that was in the house when we bought it. Let me say it has lived up to EVERYTHING I wanted. First - it is incredibly quiet. As many people have mentioned, you need to listen hard at the start to realise it… Read more
is going.
Second - lots of wash cycle options. The one I choose mostly takes 3 hours - but very careful use of water, steaming time, gives a PERFECT wash result. Put it on last thing at night - it won’t keep you awake with clunking etc.
Third - other options. You can choose even heavier wash loads, extra drying time, or one of 3 levels of “fullness”. If you only have bottom tray packed, you just choose Level 1, but there are two more levels. I’m mostly using Level 3.
Must have descaling salt and finish areas full so that you never have a problem with crud or gleaming dishes.
Cutlery basket - initially, I had hoped for a separate high tray - but this basket can slide along the prongs, giving a great deal of flexibility in packing.
VERY happy customer. After years of moaning about the poor results of the last dishwasher, I could not be more happy.
If you don’t recognise the name - don’t be put off. Give it a go!
DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE – I bought this model after the Harvey Norman salesperson told me that the machine that the machine that they had on sale had a plastic bottom and wouldn't dry the glasses. Because glasses or dishes left in a machine wet, foggy, or humid after the dry cycle are a health nightmare--a sort of petri dish for organic life, I opted for this machine which… Read more
allegedly dried the dishes.
Well, I should have not listened and paid the extra $300.
No matter whether the highest heat cycle or extra drying cycle (or both) are chosen, the machine produces, after nearly three hours, a bunch of foggy glasses and damp dishes. It does this quietly if sound is your most important interest. It has lots of buttons to push and pretty electronic displays if you are seeking that.
It cleans only OK. Pre-rinsing or pre-washing dirty plates by hand is a must.
If you are stuck with it like I am, I suggest you remove all the fancy attachments. They merely interfere with the wash spray and interfere with the washing/drying processes.
This is strictly my opinion arising from my sad experience. When I called the salesman, he denied that he ever said that the machine dried the dishes completely. I said "dried the dishes" meant dried them completely. He kissed me off by saying that I would need to spend another $2,000 for a Miele machine that actually dried dishes.
To think that I exchanged my old but working Bosch for this piece of attractive junk really irks me.
As I say, this is merely my opinion and my personal experience. My single piece of general advice is that dishwashers that do not dry dishes completely are a health danger. Buy a washer that actually dries them.
Alternatively, go back to hand washing and air drying.
Good Luck.
Definitely a time save – We have been hand washing dishes for a long time now and decided with a baby on the way and the amount of water wasted that we would invest in a good dishwasher. Our home did have an existing St George dishwasher which I had never heard of before. It was very poor water and energy ratings so we decided to dump it and get an Ariston from Harvey… Read more
Norman after reading the reviews. Harvey Norman sales guy was pushing the AEG but we stuck to our guns and went with the Ariston. JB Hifi was pushing the Asko when we were looking around.
Initially we were going for the middle of the range model but after looking at the top model with a 4 year extended warranty (6 years total), there was very little difference in the price. Purchased and picked it up that day from the Oxley (Brisbane) warehouse.
It was easy enough to install myself and have been using it without issue for the last month.
95% of the time we use the normal wash. Takes around 3 hours with tablets. We stack dished throughout the day and turn on just before we go to bed.
Found the the Finish Quantum Powerballs to be the best. The normal Finish just does not cut it as well. And the powder is annoying to measure out all the time. Eventually we did have to put the Finish Freshener to eliminate some of the odor.
Plates, pots, pans and glass come out dry. Plastics sometimes have be bit of water around the lip of the lids.
Overall we are very happy with the Ariston. As always time will tell.

Great Product easy to use – Have used ariston for many years and even if i have had a problem the customer service is great! Bought this model from Harvey Norman as I moved into a new house and had to leave my old one there and again this model has performed the way it should. Highly recommend the brand for service and quality Show details
I need to amend my earlier bad review...I was wrong, machine is great – I reviewed my machine awhile back and I must make amends, I gave a poor rating. I'm sorry to anyone I discouraged from buying. The machine was a disappointment initially and I became very frustrated as wasn't getting the solutions I wanted. However, a tech came to the house and he corrected the problem, he simply relocated the top basket … Read more
( we had not re positioned the basket, we left them placed how they arrived ). So if you're experiencing a bad wash, have a tech come out ( no cost) and get him to check if positioned wrong. I really am very happy with the Artisan and it is very quiet.
Great but could do better – Bought this model and brand because of various points but mainly because of its incredibly good energy and water ratings. In every other aspect, it was a great buy - only one huge BUT ....... to get items dry, you have to opt for the "extra dry" option which adds another hour (!) to whole process. That said, it cleans really well, cutlery… Read more
basket can be placed anywhere (on bottom shelf) and so very quiet that, at first, I thought it wasn't working and kept opening it up to make sure it was on.

Hate this washer - glasses never clean! – Bought this from Harvey Norman and it's the worst I've ever used. All the glasses come out cloudy with water and suds stains. These have to be rewashed when we have guests. Have tried rinse aid and different tablets etc. the result is always the same. Had this for about a year and a half and has been consistency bad. :( Any tricks on how to fix? Show details

It's ok – I find it's quite a loud dishwasher, it doesn't really clean the dishes very well and sometimes I need to put them through again. Nothing high can go in the bottom rack and the ARISTON on the front of the dishwasher is starting to peel off as it's just a sticker. Show details

Simple, Quiet and effective – This dishwasher is amazingly quiet but more importantly washes all the dishes and dries them in a very effective manner. Once the manual read, I have also discovered that this product is also full of features- choice between the top or the below basket is possible with the addition of an extra dry option. Very versatile! Very happy Show details

Superb – Hello Thank you for the opportunity to write a review. I am very happy with the dishwasher which I purchased from Harvey Norman, leaves my dishes and glasses sparkling! It is quiet and even the quick wash cycle works well. Favorite features would be all the programs, it is economical and very quiet. Show details
Very quiet it washes extremely well!! – This would have to be the quietest dishwasher I have ever used, adjusting the top rack is extremely simple along with the sliding cutlery basket and lay down racks for putting pots in, the wash results are very good and I also just love how the stainless steel cleans so easily Show details
Not to bad – Like the dishwasher nice and quite, not to keen on untensil basket ,the single slots to small for the knife and folks we have plus the name on out side has peeled off now reads piston . Overall nice product suit us well, Is there some way of us obtaining another decal for front ? Show details
Works great – I usually use it fully loaded and on the 30 minutes cycle. Low water usage, and very quiet. Dishes come out clean, on rare occasions some hard crust is left but this is rare. usually use it with finish tablets with good results. Very happy with this purchase, highly recommended. Awesome Ariston – Love the way it cleans and dries dishes and is very quiet love the easy external cleaning and electronic push button operation easy external cleaning also good racking system for changes in positioning of plates etc. Easy underbench installation, multitudes of operating settings, i can thoroughly recommended this brand of dishwasher. Should've purchased another brand – Purchased over a year ago. Worked ok for a while, but lately doesn't wash properly. We have used rinse aid and followed troubleshooting guide for cleaning. We have tried various tablets and powder, with most results the same. We were looking at another dishwasher (same price) and sales person recommended Ariston over other brand. Wish we stuck with other dishwasher. Show details
Huge disappointment! – Best thing I can say is that it is quiet. I am so disappointed with this machine. If it is fully loaded it does not wash properly especially the cutlery and I ALWAYS have to wash the steak knives again. Have tried loading it so many different ways but still not a good wash. Unfortunately this has put me off buying any other appliance in this brand. Show details
Quiet wash cycle – I use tablets and it cleans dishes quite well, but the normal cycle I takes 2 hours 55 minutes, including drying time. Dries china well when you use rinse aid. Does not dry plastic Tupperware and microwave containers very well, but neither did my F & P. Huge range of wash options was a bit daunting. Really quiet wash cycle, beeps to tell you it's… Read more
finished. Pause feature is good so you don't have a nasty surprise with water temperature change while in the shower.
I have had the bottom rack run off the track a few times, but this was probably more my fault for not evenly distributing the weight of dishes on the rack or pushing/pulling the rack from the side rather than directly in front.
Awesome – We have only had it 3 weeks, ..cant hear it while it is washing! cleans very well. Everything comes out sparkling!! Didnt realize how bad the previous one was. Has a massive lower basket and moveable cutlery drainer. So we csn fit alot in. And it is very easy and simple to use . love it Show details

Aweome!! I finally use the dishwasher – I replaced another shocker with this awesome dishwasher. I use it everyday which is unsurprising for some, but for me, its a big deal. Cleans pretty well, noting that I use Eco washing tabs. So if you use the toxic stuff, its sure to work even better. Its pretty damn quiet too. No wake ups ... except for the b* beep at the end. Seriously, why do they even make them beep. Show details
my dish washer, – I was surprised to see dishes, pots& pans, knives forks, glassware come out so clean and shinning and dry Could not believe just how quiet it is I actually checked to see if it was turned on, The smooth clean lines and the amount of choices I have in the settings and also so easy to just wipe over with a damp cloth, Show details
Love it - so pleased with purchase! – Love everything about this dishwasher. Love how it washes, dries, the array of different settings and options and the multiple configurations within the dishwasher shelves. I have also had to deal with Ariston and they were extremely helpful when I required it. The dishwasher is quiet and I love that it does a good job on the quick setting when… Read more
it's just crockery you want quickly run through before dinner etc.
If I had my time over to purchase any dishwasher - I would still choose this one.
An OK dishwasher – I bought this model 6 months ago as it had very favorable reviews. Its been reliable so far, its fairly quiet, and easy to use. I wouldn't rate it as brilliant but it is OK for the lower cost. It has "eco" low water consumption and low power consumption cycle options which is great for those on restricted supply's. The trade-off for these are long… Read more
cycle times of the order of 3 hrs. I tend to use a 2 hr cycle as a good compromise, but shorter ones less than 1 hr are also available.
This is the best dishwasher I have owned – After having owned 2 LG dishwashers that only lasted till just out of warranty we were sceptical about the sales pitch but this machine is whisper quiet on the usual cycles we use and often cannot hear if it is running. Cleans and dries very well and the layout of the machine is really good. We love the small extra tray above the top basket for… Read more · 1
our long kitchen utensils and the depth of the top tray is great. the cycles are a bit long but that is because it is very efficient with water and power usage. Being on tank water that was important to us and after 10 months this machine is the best we have owned. Worth the money.
Excellent dishwasher – I have always bough Dishlex in the past and loved them, had an LG which did not last long. After finding out Dishlex no longer made in Australia decided to look for something else. This one was recommended by the salesman who proved to me he also bought one, and as it had everything I wanted as far as features I decided to go with it. You can do… Read more · 1
half loads just like a draw washer, has the top rack for sharp knives, labels and utensils, which I love. Love the way the top section had be adjusted a different heights as I have some very large, high dinner plates, also very long stemmed wine glasses. Does an excellent job at washing all dishes and frypans. Quiet too. The Octopuss installer did an excellent job as he had to cut new holes in the cupboard to fit it properly, now this one sits flush with the cupboards. Can not fault this dishwasher so far. Also like the salt feature which is optional, but helps with hard water for washing and west and tear.
"Spotless?" You're Joking Me – I read the reviews. I figured the optimistic guy who said it was 2 stars was just unlucky. I bought it. I bought this machine and returned it also. No hassle on return. It did not dry the glasses, plates or cutlery--no matter what setting. The machine looks good but acts bad. I have had good experiences with other Ariston products for washing and drying clothes. Nothing against the brand--only this model.

Spotless washing every time! – I totally agree with Dr Pepper's comments. I've purchased this machine from Harvey Norman 3 weeks ago and have been using it daily ever since without a single issue. Ensure you use either option 1 (most efficient) or option 2 (heavily laden) for a clean wash. You can always use the extra dry option if you require but remember it adds extra 10 minutes to the cycle. Whole family loves it because it's very quiet and easy to use and stake.
Why did we wait so long – First dishwasher, and it is fantastic..11 out of 10 easily. Was intrigued about the height of the top shelf at first, too low, but once we found the top basket adjustment it was fine. Very quiet, don't know it is running, and so far has done a fantastic job of washing and drying, first load we thought might have been a challenge for it, but no. So far so good, seems an excellent machine.
Absolutely love – I bought this dishwasher as our old dishwasher karked it and the Ariston dishwasher has so many more functions and I use them all its like having a maid in my kitchen. And my kids even help with stacking and put away dishes,it's great because now the kids want to help with chores...Love my dishwasher and I would recommend this item to everyone
Not very happy – I have had this dishwasher for 2 months and in that time I have found it not very good at all. I have to space all dishes 2 apart or they won't get clean. I can't put anything other than plates that have basically been washed and Tupperware lids on the lower rack. Pots and other Tupperware you can forget, they won't get clean.

Overrrate expensive rubbish – I've been the proud user of this for about 1 week and as yet have not had a competely dry load - plates and cutlery are still damp, even after a Normal wash, plus extra drying time, and using Finish dishwashing tablets with rinse aid, salts etc, you name it. None of our dishes fit properly, they are on the smaller side and unless you space… Read more
everything two apart, none of the bowls sit properly. I'm so fed up with this overrated item, I'm seriously thinking of buying a basic Dishlex (our previous dishwasher, which wasn't fancy by any means but it did the job). oh yes, and the cutlery tray is a joke too, it only fits items of a certain size and has a million slots for items so tiny I have no idea what might fit in them. Chopsticks perhaps? Also collapsible racks are only handy if they collapse when you want them to, not when they just feel like it. Awful, awful waste of money!!!
