WORST PEDESTAL FAN EVER – The fan was horrible to put together. Flimsy rocks and vibrates with the slightest breeze and the output in terrible, has to be about 2 ft away and on the highest setting to feel anything breeze from it. would not recommend it to anyone to purchase.

Trusted Arlec Brand Superior Air Flow – This black pedestal fan is great. It’s well built, there are a lot of fan blades…this results in heaps and heaps of airflow…and quiet at the same time. It was so simple to put together, I didn’t really need to refer to the instructions. The GRID CONNECT smart phone app is nice. I already had other lights in this app, adding another product easy. But getting an account to verify and adding your first product could be a little frustrating. Not that this really matters, but 2.4 Ghz wifi networks only work with these GRID connect products. I am impressed the app can control 6 different fan speeds, the swing function and fan modes (wind/sleep or normal). With the GRID app, you can set the timer. Fortunately, there are no lights on the outside of the fan controller, as they fade out after 30 or so seconds, this avoids being annoyed at night or in a dark room. The base seems well constructed and heavy to avoid falling over.
