Excellent Service – Andrew serviced and repaired my bike. Friendly interaction and the work was done to a very high standard. I unreservedly recommend Ashfield Cycles.The work undertaken was beyond what I had expected.

The worst bike shop, worst service and dodgy practices – I bought my bike from this shop a few years ago and all I can say is the service was disinterested at best. I pressed for a bike stand and they begrudgingly provided one that lasted a few months. The bike made a clicking noise as I pedaled and I had lost both of the original inner tubes mostly because they told me to put too much pressure in them. I did take one of the tubes back with a small leak near the stem, they took it out the back I thought to check it but when they came back I realised they only took it out the back so I would not see them putting a puncture in the tube which they then refused to replace of course. To my complaint about the clicking noise they abused me for not bringing it back for a service. So o get the noise fixed would cost me their service fee. There has never been anything in the demeanor of any of the staff that I would call friendly or affable in any way. For the most part, I found them to be unfriendly if not outright rude. I would call their business practices unethical if not illegal. They have a few good reviews which, if they are real, are utterly inexplicable. I have had no issues with other bike shops, and one chain of shops where the service and product advice and everything else was great. Ashfield Cycles though, is not a shop I will ever visit again. Terrible experience.
