Great Customer Experience
We had two bikes which had product recall. Tristano, helped us get two new amazing bikes. I highly recommend him as he offered us the best customer experience.
Asked for inner bike tyres to be replaced with new inner tubes. As the back wheel tube had a slow puncturer.
NOOO, the repairer said nothing wrong with the tube - just swabbed it with the back wheel... would you believe the flipping tyre is flat again.... male chauvinist...
Not the first time I have not been given what I asked for... Spent alot of money there... Go elsewhere.
Brought my bike in which had purchased last year when I and the bike fell off the smart trainer. The staff grabbed my bike put it up on clamps and proceeded to fix it which I did not expect asked for my back wheel went home to get it and when I got back checked it all with back wheel on all good and then said they were not going to charge me ???. Awesome service so I bought some other stuff they told me what I had done wrong and how to make sure it does not happen again. Happy days

Thanks to the Sales Consultant I dealt with for providing assistance despite how busy the store was, and offering to install pedals on my road bike free of charge. That was my second purchase at this store, and I have been pleased with the levels of professionalism on both occasions.
Poor customer service
Website said they had it in store...travelled an hour by public transport...they didn't have any wethepeople bikes whatsoever..guy behind the counter said it was my fault because I read the website wrong...wth ! See screenshot below..did not give a crap about the customer..just plain arrogant
Have spent thousands at 99 bikes....not another cent ...
Kawana 99 Bikes always gives me poor service!
Whenever I go to Kawana 99 Bikes, I always get treated poorly - like there taking advantage of me because I’m female. Though when I go to North Lakes store they treat me respectfully and are extremely helpful and passionate! My major issues with the Kawana store is how Gary (the worker) treats me and a millennial guy who sold me a $5000 race bike and indoor set up and barely gave me any directions on how to set it up, repeating “it’s easy” when he didn’t even know exactly how to set it up. I sold the complete set up for $2000 because I wasn’t ...shown the directions even after going back to the store and asking again for help, they didn’t give me any further directions. Gary on the other hand has gave me poor service many times! What stands out though, is when I was looking at helmets and asked if they have my size. Gary looked at the helmets, than walked away and said “oh well”. I just asked Gary for the right chain for my Norco Charger bike. He asked how many gears it has and said he couldn’t look it up on the computer as it’s not in the system anymore and than gave me a 11 speed chain - the wrong size. I than found the right information on my phone and asked for the 10 speed chain. I feel like Gary always treats me like a stupid female, under minding me every time I need assistance. At the Kawana Store, it feels like I’m walking into a mechanics with rude men who just see dollars on females. My male friend has recently told me they done the wrong thing to his bike and ripped him off at this store. I avoid going to the Kawana 99 Bikes Store to all costs and most of the time, make the long commute to North Lakes instead. I will never recommend this Kawana Store to anyone!
Bought 2 e bicycles from 99 bikes Joondalup
Tom was helpful and very informative on our e bicycles. Demonstrated the use of new Yakima fold click 3 bicycle rack. Definitely recommend Tom if you are looking to buy a new or replacement bicycle and any bicycle accessories.
You want service with an attitude, you’ve come to the right place..
You want service with an attitude, a team member who lies & makes it out that you’re wrong? Head to 99 Bikes Hoppers and ask to speak to George. 4 months ago he couldn’t install a true without noticing there was a puncture in it and today, he has the arrogance & accolades to be the next CEO of a multinational.
George lacks everything from knowledge, to customer service and humility.
We bought a bike for our son and he had damaged it by dropping it and we took it to get fix and the service was excellent. Thank you so much definitely will be back. Highly recommend
Amazing service and great knowledge
Thanks to Jason and Tom for the faultless service and assistance with the selection, purchase and my set up of my new bike. Over a very difficult COVID period these guys helped me with securing my bike and ensured it was ready for collection in a timely fashion. When I went to collect it, Tom spent quality time with me to ensure it was set up perfectly for my personal requirements. He carefully took me through the whole bike, explaining its features and functions making the experience even more exciting. I had such a great hand over that has ...been better than purchasing some cars. Well done team, I’ll certainly be back again. 99 Bikes might have stores everywhere, however the experience here is far better than others and worth the trip for me.
No wonder almost 1/3rd of reviews are poor or bad for 99 Bikes Castle Hill
No wonder almost 1/3rd of reviews are poor or bad for 99 Bikes Castle Hill - on trustpilot.com as also bad/poor reviews on ProductReview.com.au.
I wish we had looked at these reviews before buying a bicycle from 99 Bikes Castle Hill.
They sold a dodgy product to us for our 6 year old boy. Within few days of use one paddle popped out while the boy was riding the bike, as a result he had a
fall and was injured. We took the bike for repairs under warranty and left it at their store for repairs. After few days we got it back after being repaired...
Danger, Steer Clear, Avoid
Tried to charge for FREE service, didn't fix the problems, promised to come to my home to fix.....nothing, promised to call back......nothing. Wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone, and strongly suggest you look elsewhere instead of 99 Bikes
Great service from Daniel who took care of issues I was having with my brakes. He understood the urgency of my situation and sorted it with minimal fuss and speedy service.

Sold me a dud Norco Search, no accountability for substandard product
In late I bought a 2019 Norco Search XR C from 99 Bikes Mile End. I got a good deal and yes give credit to 99 Bikes for good prices. But that's really where the positives stop.
In the first year of ownership, I rode 835 kilometres on a total of 20 rides. Other than the initial first services included by 99 bikes, I did not do any work on the bike.
My last ride was just under a year into ownership on 18 Sep 2020, where I received my first flat tyre since I had owned the bike. It was on the rear tyre. I have used the bike as it was built by 9...9 bikes, including all stock items supplied by Norco. On 18 Sep when I removed my rear wheel to fix the flat, I noticed that the rear chainstays had been rubbing on the inside chain stays near where the front of the rear tyre passed through them. On the right chainstay, the wearing was so bad a hole had formed in the carbon. This came as quite a shock to me as the clearance between the rear wheel and the rear chainstays is so close, I could not see the wearing through normal visual inspections. It is important to note that I did not change, adjust or move my wheels at all for the life of owning the bike. I also cleaned my bike after every ride (except for the final ride). I completed my ride on 18 Sep and brought the bike to 99 Bikes Mile End the next day and notified them of the issue. It took four weeks to receive a response, which I received only after sending an email to the shop's general inbox.

I had my bike serviced but there was still a residual problem. I took the bike in to get looked fixed, they reviewed the problem, sourced and installed new disk break pads which eliminated the problem. The thing that blew me away was they did it for no charge!
This is awesome service. I am glad I have recommended 99 Bike Stanmore to friends and will continue to do so.
Best prices and helpful service
I've had a couple of bike services and purchases in this store from 2016 and has been fairly satisfied. This was back in the day when club membership was just $5.
Recently, I had 2 Giant ATX serviced by Tim. Happy with it. I guess wait times are inevitable these days as Covid has brought more people into cycling. Have noticed other bike shops have been quite low on floor stock but not here. I've purchased a Merida Speeder 100, Tacx Flow and Yakima King Joe Pro 2 bike carrier and found the pricing very competitive. Tristano was very pati...ent and friendly in assisting me with my queries. Have spoken with a couple more from the sales guys and all of them have been helpful. They also swiftly respond to email queries. I recommend you conduct your own research online, do product comparisons, streamline your priorities and once you've got your short list visit the shop for them to help you answer your queries. Thanks 99Bikes Hoppers Crossing Team! Happy cycling all!
Great service and price
Found 99 Bikes Bayswater to be a great bike shop. Bought a new bike for a great price and the customer service provided by Anthony was just excellent. No complaints here!
Great help with all things bikes
Over 12 months for every visit I have found - great service, great suggestions, great help at 99 Belmont. Mechanics are skilled and knowledgable, they stock a terrific range of gear and their electronic comms are tops. What more could you ask for? Marg M Como.
Great service and good prices.
I commute on a bike, have the weekend dual suspension MTB, kids bikes. I've spend just a little time riding. I've purchased bikes and had service / repairs done on older bikes at 99 Bikes Bayswater. With the gold membership ($30) I saved hundreds (no exaggeration) off the purchase price, and off various tools, gels and accessories. Good membership has been worth it for me.
I found them substantially cheaper then other bike shops and competitive to online prices. Stock has been limited in the last 12 months (over 2020), however that's every...
brand new bike my chain snapped within 2 weeks the person i was dealing with kept saying the workshop people weren’t in therefor he couldn’t make a decision and i would’ve had to wait 5 days till they could make a decision and i had already planned to go for a bike trip over the long weekend. it’s a brand new bike can’t see what decision there was to really make he then was saying you should’ve brought the bike in for a service prior to the chain snapping as if i would know my chain was going to snap in advance i had already spent all my christmas money on my brand new bike so my dad had to buy me a new chain so i could ride my bike to work.
Questions & Answers
Hi. My name is Dragisa Sogura. I am waiting for my bike be repairing, but, nobody call me, to say, come and take your bike... My kindest regards... A little bit disgruntled customer...
Who thinks 99 bikes customer service is sh..?
I think it depends on who you get. We see Matthew from the Castle Hill store and is always amazing! They’re very busy stores and so I guess with the in-store restriction on numbers due to COVID, customers might be getting a bit impatient and taking it out on the busy staff??? From the 5 times I’ve been in there recently, they’ve always been friendly and helpful.
