Worst customer service ever
Purchased a bike rack from 99 bikes , after using it 4 times it developed a fault , trying to put in a warranty claim was a nightmare , promised to ring me back in 4 days , 2 weeks later I had to call them , promised to ring back and once again nothing , almost 4 weeks later I tried ringing again, actually 37 calls in one week without a single answer , ended up ringing there repair service to get through to someone ,finally spoke to someone and still no news about the warranty claim , voiced my disappointment at there customer service and they...promised they would find out about the warranty claim. Next day I got a phone call as promised claiming that the warranty did not cover the fault , very disappointing but life go’s on, asked when I could pick my faulty item back up , believe it or not it might not be available until after Xmas , so that could be another 5 weeks , 9 weeks in total for a simple warranty claim. Stay clear of this shop , they don’t back there products and there customer service is the worst I have ever encountered .
Topeak - Trunkbag DXP - Rear Rack Bag with expanding panier bags
Wow - cannot speak highly enough about this product. Had one from Dyson, but took it back - fold out panier bag flaps did not fasten to the bike and flapped everywhere. Dyson were great in accepting back however. This new bag is AWESOME. At $160 it is well worth it and there are so so many secret compartments to fill/use. Well done TOPEAK, and well done 99Bikes.
Thought I’d duck in on my lunch break, what a joke!!! 15 minutes later and 6 staff standing around but no body to help me. If they had of given me the correct information the first time I was there I wouldn’t be needing to return the part. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Great people good service
We bought my daughter’s bike and was happy with the service we got.So I went back to get one for myself.The gentleman there was very knowledgeable and friendly.He explained me how sizing works and helped me choose the right size and bike.
I ended up buying a Merida big 9 and am very happy with it.
After my bike that I was riding was misbehaving ,I took the bike in to 99 mile end, the guys there were great they identified the problem and sold me the items that I needed to fix it.

Seemed to want to sell me a bike based on what was available.
Went into shop looking for a mountain bike for 12 year old, the sales assistant said they were low on stock and recommended one of the remaining bikes in store at my price range.
On tip toes son could just reach the floor and was a large frame and wheel set up.
Just asking for an accident.
I asked what frame size and she didn't know, clearly pushing for a sale at any cost.
They advertise a free bike fitting as one of their selling points.
Excellent customer service - people knew their products & had good history records of past purchases
Recommend Store to all interested in bike products - very good service by attendees & knew their products well & had my past purchase history on record for referencing past purchases
Happy New owners
We decided to purchase two new road bikes and had looked on line and decided it was easier to go into the store, Off we went into the Kew store. We were served by a young gentleman called Andrew. What a superstar.!!!! Extremely helpful, very Down to earth, answered all our questions. Could not have asked for better service.
Rude and awful service
Went into this shop and was not even in there for a minute. I touched a bike, to see if it would be the right size for my child and had a man approach me and very rudely tell me not touch the bike.
I have never in my life been into a bike shop and been told i can't touch a bike, (its not a vase people, its not going to break). I have also never been spoken to with such disrespect and rudeness.
I decided to leave after the interaction and the same gentleman said thanks see you next time, i proceed to say i wont be back and he told me that w...as ok. So much for customer service and the want for return business. Remember the want for bikes due to covid will not last for ever and then you will yet again be one of 100's of bike shops in WA. 99 bikes can keep your bikes and your rude staff i have no intention of ever going there again!
Better than most
Experienced personnel, even the younger ones with lesser knowledge are always backed up . All together it makes a good team. To me 99 Bikes is a High Volume store. In Business the optimal 3 part rule is CHEAP GOOD and FAST. But you can only have 2 the third one suffers. Does not matter where you go. Try to buy a Mercedes Benz. Good and fast but not cheap.( Well....) There are not many bicycle shops that have a smart

Sabotage of electric bike
Worst service I have ever had from any retail store. My electric bike had a rear flat tire I simply asked if they could fix it she said yes bring it down my Indian employee did and said they can fix it on the spot(my employee getting paid while it's fixed) and bike went in their perfect just with a flat tire.. when he got at home every Allen key nut on the bike rack was loose one nut was missing the front brake had 95% braking the rear brake is 10% on.the seat pole was left hi the string attaching to the key had pressure on it it turn the igni...tion around allowing the battery to fall out I didn't know until it happened also the seat was loose. If I had a flat tire and I knew these things were wrong wouldn't I asked him to adjust the brakes and if the battery was falling out would I ask him to fix ..and I don't believe in coincidence is I live 5 minutes away I put it in my van on a mattress and the first thing they said was I these things can happen when they put them in the back of a van and then they said it's illegal for us to work on any electric bike but hours so you shouldn't have brought it there that says to me that someone is teaching me a lesson and saying don't bring your bike here again I called them up they said bring it down I did I already tighten the bike rack and adjusted the seat all I needed was the brakes adjusted when I got there he said you'll have to book it in I said do you know all about this you said to bring it down and then it got worse from there they said get out of my shop so they can do what they want to your bike take your money and then say that it was like that when I bought it in the bike was perfect but a flat tire one of the sales representatives looks like some bikie dude from hells angels with tattoos on his head said you shouldn't have brought this electric bike here in the first place..now Brittany who runs the place at Marion has contacted all 99 bikes in South Australia why would he look for backup and not just ring the pol
waiting for parts
brought bike from 99 bikes, i bent the pedal crank bike un rideable waiting one month for part and told it will be another month two months with no bike they blame Shimano Australia for the problem but i brought the bike from 99 bikes Ashmore instead of ordering part from over seas they wait for Shimano Australia to get stock 2 months with no bike not good enough
Salesperson Shane review
Salesperson Shane was very helpful to us with finding the right bike for our son. We went into the shop a couple of times to look, and spoke to Shane. He listened attentively to what our needs were and gave us his recommendations. Shane arranged for our son test ride different types of bikes on site whilst we were trying to decide what type of bike, he then showed us some bikes via computer and said he would keep an eye out for what came into store. The next time we went into store he had put a bike on hold for my son, which turned out to be t...he perfect bike which we bought! Our experience was very positive in that we felt very well looked after, and listened to by sales staff. The outcome was that we were able to find the perfect bike and our son is indeed very happy! We will be highly recommending 99bikes to our friends, and particularly Shane who is very passionate about bikes, knowledgeable, friendly and great with kids.
Bike Trainer for exercise of damaged Hip
Never heard of, 99 Bikes before. On a mission to find a suitable Bike Trainer & not only did they have a full range in stock !! But they also had a setup display.
Extremely knowledgeable in all products asked after. How good is it to receive ‘Great Customer Service’ U need to Visit this place.
Big thank you to Jack at 99 bikes Joondalup for his services when i needed a small extra for my bike . No one else had this ramp and when i asked if could be sent he arranged for this and i received it 2 working days after discussing with him.

I needed a bike for personal and professional use.
I needed a bike and left with a great bike and narrowly avoided the big storm that was coming. Bike had few dints on it which was the only disappointing thing about my experience. I had a great chat with the nice man for about an hour or longer while the bike was made ready for me. They replaced the bike stand and went to great lengths to make sure the bike was good to ride. Only thing I didn't get was a bike basket as the one they had didn't fit the make of my new bike. I'm glad I went to 99 bikes Indooroopilly and would consider going the extra distance for another good experience.
Worst experience $500 mountain bike from 99 bikes
I bought a mountain bike for $500 from 99 bikes macgregor. In first 2 days the chain came off the back and front 3 times and I had to take it back 3 times in a car or by foot and once they fixed chain properly, now the brakes are playing up and locking the rear bike tyre so I took it back 4th time and they want me to leave it there and come back later or the next day. I had a Kmart mountain bike for $109 before I bought from 99 bikes and it was perfect and never had a single issue. But with 99 bikes It’s a lot n lot of hassle, unsatisfaction and waste of money. Avoid 99 bikes not good quality.
Perfect sales staff and store.
Went to 99 Bikes at MacGregor, the sales rep Louis was absolutely helpful with finding our bikes and making sure they were perfect for us. He answered all my questions, was very friendly and was great to chat with. He mentioned he was quite new but I wouldn't have been able to tell if he didn't say. Please make sure he sees this and thank him for doing his job perfectly and being a great bloke.

Hi , I have a layby which is due by 8/11. Merida 120 600 .Our hot water tank blew up this morning. Very expensive to replace. Can l have an extension of 4-6 weeks please ? We have bought 3 other mtbs from you . Much appreciated. Phil Key
My wife and I seems to be addicted to the Kerosene used in the Bike Work Shop in 2 years.
It adjoining to my wife Shop doesn't have the ventilation system with the Bike Work Shop. In the Shop of the wife and there is no window and continuously Kerosene comes into the Shop of the wife.
Ask the help on Kerosene which has the experience which is similar to us or which it uses in 99 Bikes Shop is well known in any chances.
