Likes;, step through frame, adjustable handlebars and stem, integrated lights, removable battery which in my case was great because I have two of them, I can bring the second one in my bike trailer and go twice the distance, large bike rack that can fit a crate as well as the hitch for my bike trailer, the walk assist throttle to a maximum of 6 km/h, the tire width seems perfect as well, I can do some minimal gravel without any trouble, the gears change really easily and smoothly, the battery is easy to remove for charging, this is great at wor...
Read morek, the battery is lockable. Leitner is good for Customer Service before and after purchase, it's good value for money and delivery is fairly fast. Dislikes;, it is a heavy bike, 22.5 kgs even with the battery removed, it did take me awhile to get used to steering a heavy bike around tight corners and I am very slow and careful about that for my safety, heavy bikes are not for the weak, however I do some weight bearing exercise (aerial yoga) therefore could lift it onto a trailer or maxi taxi if I did break down, with the battery removed. I would recommend it and give it 9.9 out of 10- 2 reviews
We ordered 2 Leitner bikes but realised the next morning that they weren't suitable for where we live (on top of a steep mountain). We rang and discussed it with Leitner who cancelled our order with no fuss.

I bought the Milano Leitner electric bike approximately three years ago and could not be happier. I am 65 years of age and my husband is 66. My husband decided to buy the Berlin Leitner in February 2022. He had problems deciding which bike would be suitable for him and Leitner could not have been more helpful with their assistance in helping us to choose. After a lot of emails and phone calls back and forth we have to say the staff at Leitner in particular Ed, Sam and Alex went out of their way to help us. Thanks guys - Grant and Sylvia R.

I need a few tiny parts from my wheel hub. they were so easy to deal with very happy with the service
We bought two bikes, a 700c Ultimate Step-Thru Cruiser & a 700c Ultimate Step-Over. Delivery was expected to be at least two weeks, possibly more with Covid, but we were so pleased to see that they arrived within days. Phone and email communication with Leitner was exceptional and the manuals required are available digitally on their website.
What we loved is that they weigh no more than our other bikes, 17kg. Having ridden another brand that was 28kg we found that the Leitner are as easy to manouvre as our old bikes.
We are age 70 & 72 and have been finding the hills a bit too much effort and thought the investment into these bikes will help keep us riding and active.
Have bought 2 Leitner bikes, and consider them good value, the service follow up answering a query on the set up of the speedo was excellent, near instant, very clear and really pleasant.
Thanks Jess, great service
After ordering a replacement battery for my Leitner Tirol, all went well with the ordering process, however when it came to delivery there were two botched attempts by the courier to deliver to our address, in fact they went to two other addresses in our street. Jess from Leitner Customer support did a great job following up and kept me informed of what was happening which eventually led to a satisfactory outcome. Cheers Ian

It's my husband's brand new baby but I've been riding it to work while I decide if I want one.
17k's a day, (recharged every night,) for less than 2 weeks and already the Battery level seems to be dropping a little faster than at the beginning. This is the Upgraded Battery that is supposed to be good > 80+k.s!! No way! I believe it would do the suggested 32 even if you had to use the lights for a couple of hours.
The Seat is tipped slightly back which makes it uncomfortable because I really want to push/pedal. We tried to adjust it but the nut...
Dear sarinozi,
Thank you for purchasing a Leitner electric bike and I’m glad to hear it’s nice and that you are already using it to commute....
Read moreRegarding battery range: The range estimate for the upgraded 16ah battery is 32-80km as there are many factors which affect the range, such as pedalling, hills and total weight on the bike. To get the best possible battery range it is recommended to follow the instructions in the manual, for example inflating the tyres to the recommended pressure and making sure the brakes are not rubbing against the discs. I am sorry to hear that you didn’t get a response regarding the seat issue. We would love to assist you to adjust your seat to a comfortable riding position. For any concerns, please contact our friendly customer service team at sales@leitner.com.au or call 1300 856 725 Regarding the motor activation by pedalling: The motor will only accelerate to approximately 25km/h which is the current legal speed limit allowed for ebikes in Australia. If you go faster than 25km/h the motor won’t activate. When the speed drops beneath 25km/h to around 23km/h then the motor will switch back on if you pedal. Sorry to hear that you feeling that the bike is “slowing” when going down a hill. It may be an indicator that the brakes are rubbing or the tires not inflated to recommended pressure. It is best practice to have the bike professionally serviced to ensure it’s setup correctly. Some information regarding the power and weight of electric bikes: Electric bikes for use on public roads are limited to a power of 250W and the Berlin maxes out the 250W – unfortunately it was any more powerful you couldn’t ride it anymore legally on public roads. For customers who prefer high power and don’t need to ride on public roads we recommend the Leitner Fat bike with its 500W motor. If light-weight design is important we recommend the Leitner Aria light-weight folding ebike and the Leitner 700c Ultimate electric bikes. I hope this information helps and please contact our customer service team at sales@leitner.com.au or call 1300 856 725. We would like to assist you with all your enquiries ensuring that you have a great experience on your Leitner Berlin electric bike. Have a great day. Things Change!
In February 2019 I gave Leitner and the "Berlin" a rave review. Today I have a totally different story.
As a bike builder and repairer, I have been building and servicing Leitner bikes for a number of years now.
Everything has been fine until recently, when I noticed a gradual decline in product quality. Perhaps I'm a little harsh using the word "Lies", however there is definitely a change in attitude!
The introduction of a new display seemed to be the defining change. However there are many other subtle changes; the pai...
Read morent quality is not as tough, the saddle and seat stem is different and prone to 'slipping', the front suspension has also changed and is nowhere near as compliant, which means the ride becomes a little rough. As far as I can tell, these changes occur across the whole range of bikes. Display Error: The new display appears to have a chronic problem. It is simply unreliable when it comes to the 'speedo' reading. To be legal when riding an eBike, you need to ride below 25Kms/hr ALL THE TIME, this is true across the whole of Australia. When set up correctly, and if working properly there is no problem, the display indicates the current speed and is fairly accurate, so the rider knows the speed of the bike.Arrived in excellent condition, well packaged. Easy to assemble and we took them for a ride, we highly recommend these if your looking for fold up bikes for your caravan travels. Love them

Couple days ago, i wrote a negative review about one of their product. and the result is; they stalk my social media account. And they forcing me to accept their realty from facebook. Maybe Stalking is ok for "Leitner" but not ok for Australian community. this issue is going to Ombudsman Victoria.
Hi Kamil,
Thank you for your reply. ...
Read more By reviewing our conversation, we have addressed each of your concerns, regarding our procedures for repairs, returns, and test rides, as well as provided information about our recommended technicians and workshops that service our eBikes. If you have any concerns or questions we have not addressed, please let us know and we would be happy to provide additional information. You mentioned that your bike was purchased second-hand, and not through Leitner directly. Unfortunately, with second-hand bikes, it is difficult to verify if the original owner has serviced and maintained the bike per our guidelines and recommendations. With this said, we are always happy to assist with any Leitner model by providing spare parts and instructions, or by recommending a technician to assist. Please note that we only contacted you via social media because that is how you contacted us initially. It is our policy to respond to customers via the same channel they reach out on (phone, email, social media), so we were just replying to a message that you had already sent. Unfortunately, you have not reported any issues with the bike, neither on Product Review nor in the messages via social media, we are unsure how we can assist you with your concern regarding your bike. If you are able to contact us with the nature of the issue and your local area, we are happy to look into solutions. - Leitner TeamFind out how Leitner compares to other Bike Shops

The E Bike itself is of excellent quality so overall extremely happy with our 24" Step-Thru Ebike | Leitner Milan Cruiser and with leitner.com.au
We purchased 2 Leitner bikes about 5 years ago. Although we rode them a lot initially ill health interrupted our ability. I am now keen to get back on the bike but had an issue with the battery not providing continuous power when required.
Having contacted bike repair shops in town, all of whom said they could not offer any assistance on this issue I decided to contact Leitner and seek their advice. Never in a million years would I have thought their after service could be so good so long after purchase. Over a two week period we emailed back ...
