Great experience! – Nothing but good things to say about MTB Direct! They have good prices, are super quick with getting orders out, and if there's anything needed, their support team is second to none. We had to return a product due to incorrect size and the customer service staff we dealt with (Jono and Nick) were so quick to help out with the product return and reordering. Highly recommended!

Specialised store with good staff – A store dedicated to mountain biking, by great people who are good to deal with. They have a lot of items that are hard to find elsewhere.

Ordered a Topeak Trolley Tote Folding Basket and after a month still no delivery and getting in contact with MTB is Imposible. I have initiated a refund from PayPal for a non-delivered item. Ordered from Amazon and received the next day. I wasted one month waiting for nothing from MTB Direct. When I placed the order, it said ships in 10-14 days Never again from this seller!!! Peter

Ages to send out . When received wasn't even the right parts – Finnaly received my package and there was a da bomb single speed rear derailleur and that was it . Not seat or seat post clamp !!!!! This has to be a joke 7

Slow to process orders – Bought many items from this store, been a great store, great range, however website isnt great anymore since update and slow to process orders, if you want your order processed quickly go with Pushys, they are awesome!!

but when I raised this with Beth she took prompt action and despatched the same item again that day so she didn’t need to redivert the original parcel. Sometimes things go wrong and that doesn’t matter - what matters is how company’s fix the issue. I’d gladly shop with MtbDirect again and have recommended them to others.

Beth’s response was more than I could ever have expected. Even though they couldn’t get the pads (as well as why they no longer do helmet parts), she investigated where I could maybe find some in my local area…mate what she provided I can’t elucidate well enough how good it was, and that from their business perspective wasn’t required, but she did it anyway. MTB Direct most definitely have a customer for life

Great post-sales service - return process – My son bought a knee pad but was too small. Initially, I thought the return process was a bit odd, but when I went through with it, it was rather simple. And the staff even expressed out a bigger size before I actually return the smaller one. Very impressed with the post-sales service. I don't understand what the other poor post-sales service on the other reviewers

Seriously impressive! – Purchased many things through them, never had an issue. Placed an order over the weekend and last-minute realized I'd like a couple more things. Not wanting to add another order, I quickly emailed them (On a Sunday!) and had a response + a new invoice with my new items within 30 minutes! Thanks MTB Direct!

whole website is completely drained of colour and is now completely white and black which not only looks bad but I find hard to read, and it doesn't align with their branding. I can't filter my searches by size. To top it off they have removed AfterPay as an option! Very disappointing.

Customer Service is Exemplary – Unfortunately my light broke on a ride recently. It took 1 email, with attached photos for the amazing team to organise a replacement light for me, shipped on the same day. Customer service like this needs to be praised. I have such confidence in this company I have referred them to all my friends.

Great customer service!! – We had some issues with some shoes we ordered (my sons doing) and Nicolas in customer service was fantastic in sorting these out for us. Polite, efficient and very helpful!

Mtb Direct is a big corporate company that doesn't really care about service or customer satisfaction – Have had multiple dealings with them over the years. Each order is very hit and miss, some wrongly posted products, some items damaged by poorly thought out packing, and this latest thing with a Funn dropper. I've contacted Funn HQ, and they have discontinued their Updown dropper, and no spares are available to keep it going. So after a wet… Read more

weekend or two, the dropper will be gritty, sticky, and there's no way to fix it, you just have to throw it out. Mtb direct are still selling this post at full price, and after multiple emails (there's no way to call them) telling them about this problem and being frustrated at this now defunct post, they just fob me off. With each order problem some lame excuse or apology is given, and seemingly no attempt to improve. The also monopolize brands like Oneup for Australia, so the buyer is forced to buy from them. I'll probably end up trying to buy something from them in the future, really because there is no other option for Aus buyers.

just letting them know I was a bit bummed. Got a reply back within 12 hours to offer a replacement plus gift voucher, or a generous part refund if I was happy to keep the existing part. That’s great service IMHO!

Website is much easier to navigate and search than most, and has good details about each component - with honest info instead of just OEM spiel. Very happy customer.

Good store with great products but slow to ship items – Second time MTB direct have let me down, ordered items paid for express shipping so items would arrive before an event , took MTB direct 3 days just to post it, so as a result it arrived too late, ordered items from UK same day they arrived 2 days before the event, i used to have MTB direct as my go to for my mtb needs but now find i use Pushys alot more now, they send items the next day

parts for new or existing bikes. I've had a few issues with some things that were very quickly and easily sorted out through their online warranty process.

I'd give them 5 stars, lately however, I've noticed the level of personalised service has dropped off a little and prices have been creeping up constantly compared to other online retailers. I still continue to purchase parts and supplies but I hope this trend is a temporary blip and not a sign of where they are headed.

Mtb direct are online only and will not speak to you over the phone – This is an online provider only with no contact number or face to face service for queries on an order.

No phone support when you need help. Disappointing as I have previously used this business without issue – I needed help regarding sizing and returns. No-one to speak to. Offered email chat back which I hate Took 5 minutes for Ian to reply to me. I will no longer be using this business.

Having said that MTB Direct have some good stock and unique items that aren't listed elsewhere, for example their suspension parts etc. Website is very well presented and nice to use, good descriptions on items. Quite a lot of errors with photos not matching descriptions however.

Didn’t have my order in stock – I may be an anomaly, but I ordered two items through MTBDirect which they said were in the stock only to get an email a few days later saying that they didn’t actually have them. I give them three stars for offering a refund and small gift voucher as an apology, but you can’t sell yourself as having a great stock management system if you don’t.

Super satisfied with this website! Got a set of 26" Maxxis with no hassle. Delivered next day! – Best MTB website to deal with. Very happy with my purchase. Lightning fast delivery. What can i say? Will deal with them again:)
