Sri Lanka tour – Just completed a tour of Sri Lanka and was very disappointed at the quality and locations of ALL of the hotels provided, and also numerous problems we encountered. We used ADT 2 years ago to Vietnam and was impressed but not this time. Will not use ADT again. Sorry.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Bridge Of River Kwai Tour From Bangkok - Be Careful – We did this tour 29.06.17 (when booking online we were routed and booked through a company called Royal Exclusive Travel). typical tourist souvenir stalls - disappointing

Lunch was a nice half hour break, but be warned not even drinking water is included in the package, and purchasing it at lunch is quadruple the usual price.

On reaching Katachamburi war cemetery this ended up being just a "drive by" without even stopping the vehicle. The tour guide will encourage you to stay in the bus because it is too hot - even though we were doing this tour in the middle of winter!

Few minutes drive down the road we reached war museum & kwai bridge at 2:10pm, here we were asked to keep trip as short as possible to 40 minutes as it was a 3 hour drive back to Bangkok (which we were well aware of) - even though website clearly states you have 3 hours to look around Kanchanaburi (2pm to 5pm to see cemetery, bridge & museum). Ended up leaving for Bangkok at 3:25pm.

The whole trip is designed to get you in and out as quickly as possible.

What is offered compared to what you get disappointing.

Don't even think about it – We did two day tours with Asia-Discovery Tours on our recent trip to Bangkok and would never use them again. I have been on better back-packer tours (when I was younger) in fact this company made some of them look like a five star holiday. all of the passengers. The English speaking tour guide gave no information on any of the places we visited. We got sick of hearing "it was damaged by war or fire". Yes they are cheap but not even worth that price. Pay a little extra and go with someone else.
