Be careful when you choose a package with Asiatravels. They'll quote you a cheaper deal at first and then they'll increase the price significantly close to the departure date. After reading other reviews I have realised it is their usual trap. Customer service had been very bad too, left with no cab at the airport! When tried to contact, no… Read more

Worst Customer Service! Fraud and Promoting False Promotions! – Dear Asia Travel Corporate Office I would like to file a complaint against Asia Travel in the Philippines for the fraud scam on tour reservations. In April 2018, I decided to make an early reservation for tour packages as I wanted to avail best prices for our travel to Coron in November 2018. I made a reservation of tour packages for 7… Read more

persons and fully paid the total amount of PHP 29K. Please see attached issued vouchers.

With the confirmation of the tour reservations, I have confirmed our tickets reservations and hotel reservations and both reservations are not refundable.

I will be travelling with 2 Senior Citizens, 1 Person with disability, 1 child and 3 adults including me. This trip would be my gift to my 65 year-old mother who just survived from cancer. This trip will be very important to me and to my family.

Last June 22, my 19 year old niece died and I requested for the refund her reservation. Please see attached death certificate. As you can see in the history of the emails, Asia Travel in the Philippines informed us that our booking has been cancelled. Asia Travel in the Philippines informed us that I have to request my bank to make a dispute for the refund of our reservations.

It is not our fault that my niece died and I tried to get an explanation from Asia Travel in the Philippines. And after series of emails, Asia Travel in the Philippines that our booking was not confirmed because of the payment error in the server in Singapore. However, this does not make any sense as we received our vouchers for the tour, Please see attached issued vouchers.

If there was an error, I believe that Asia Travel in the Philippines should absorb all the necessary costs in order to maintain our original bookings. It is not fair and just that our family should suffer from this operational problem of Asia travel in the Philippines. I tried to contact the Operations Manager of Asia Travel in the Philippines [name removed], [name removed] – Assistant Operations Manager, [name removed] -Supervisor but I have not received any feedback or resolution about this inconvenience.

If I make a dispute to my bank, the refund will take some time to be credited to my account and I do not have extra money to make a new reservation and the prices right now have increased. Asia travel in the Philippines has been keeping my money for 4 months and did not confirm our reservation to the suppliers.

I believe that Asia Travel in the Philippines should shoulder all additional costs to maintain our original booking considering that our air tickets and hotel reservations are already confirmed and cannot be refunded.

I am sincerely asking for help from the Corporate Office of Asia Travel for proper handling of this complaint.

Sincerely yours

Mark Stephen Molano Yee

Untrusted website and cheating people money – I have make hotel booking via this website and payment made successfully on 12 May 2018, email confirmation on the booking also received from this Asiatravel.com. however, on mid of July 2018 (after 2 months), another email from Asiatravel.com telling me that my booking cancelled as their provider didn't make payment to the hotel and i need to… Read more

call my bank to dispute on the payment made earlier to get back my refund. I have subsequently call and confirm with my bank, the payment had been collected by this Asiatravel.com in May 2018 and there is no way i can dispute my claim. I have then make a complaint to both Asiatravel.com Singapore and Thailand last week to request them to resolve my booking issue but both of them ignore my complaint and no to respond my email and silent in the refund. I notice some of the comment on this website similar to my booking experience with Asiatravel.com and taken their money too

Now my concern where is my money gone? Why cheat people money??

False advertisement about Free Airport Transfer – Booked 2 consecutive nights to get the Free Airport Transfer that they advertise on their website. Before I book this five star hotel in the CBD, I called and spoke to their reservation agent and confirmed that if I booked for two consecutive nights, I will be provided with Free Airport Transfer to the hotel. After I paid for the hotel booking,… Read more

I've been advised that they DO NOT provide Free Airport Transfer. What a rip off. I won't be using AsiaTravel again.

They kept lying to me and would not let me post a review on asia travel about my bad experience – The booking ect.. was quick easy but what annoyed me so so much was They kept lying to me and would not let me post a review on asia travel about my bad experience. I stayed I pacific sutera in Kota Kinabalu which was a really bad experience and after 5 emails they kept making excuses they cannot add my review on their website. If my review was positive they would have posted it.. it is very unfair

People without honor – I booked a hotel for 8 nights in Bali and got the confirmation email with referrnce number and everything. But they canceled my booking the day after because they believed that the rates were wrong. I found that this has happened a lot before so how can mistakenly put the wrong rates in their website several times? They offered me a special offer… Read more

that was 6 times more expensive than my original booking and I could book a very better place with that price. I think that these people do this intentionaly and then they cancel your booking and offer you a much higher rate and tell that this rates is special to compensate their mistake.

Never ever book with asiatravel.com

Delivered what we paid for – Booked and paid for a Bangkok day tour with Asiatravel.com a few days before leaving home for Thailand. Price was quite competitive. Confirmation email arrived within a minute or two followed the day after by one from the tour provider asking us to supply the hotel address for the pickup as they don't know it. Hotel is quite new (opened about 8… Read more

months ago) but can't they look up the address? Sent them the details anyway and all was good. Haven't booked hotels or anything else with them so can't comment on troubles other reviews state. We almost always book hotels direct with the hotel. Then if something isn't right you are dealing with the right people immediately.

As far as dealing with Asiatravel goes there really isn't a lot to say. Online booking agent, couple of clicks and credit card number sums it up. This review simply acknowledges that asiatravel.com didn't rip us off, confirmed very quickly and the tour was provided as booked.

Do not use this website - avoid at all costs!! – We booked a hotel in Phnom Penh Cambodia through this site and upon checkin were advised that a surcharge was to be added per room per night. Our booking confirmation clearly stated our rooms were prepaid and no extra room charge was to be charged. After attempting to contact customer services on toll charges to Singapore we were hung up on no… Read more

less than 5 times. Exasperated and clearly exhausted from arguing with management at the hotel that our voucher was prepaid and Asiatravel not helping we checked into a much better cheaper hotel nearby forfeiting the prepaid booking and losing hundreds of dollars. Avoid at all costs. Shocking customer service & would seriously warn against using this site

Ambivalent experiences with crazyrate – Generally I have good experiences since abut ten years with Asiatravel. However, recently I booked "crazyrate" and was given a hotel. On the same homepage this hotel was listed, but with a price more then 20% less then the crazyrate. Be careful and doublecheck the special offers!!

Be very careful of AsiaTravel.com – . I was ripped off by this organisation and had absolutely no recourse. I booked a hotel in Dubai online and later found out that they had debited my Credit Card 4 times for the same fee. Yes 4 times. I complained to the company by email to a Ms Patrice Jane Castillo and eventually after a lot of debate they ended up refunding the amount, BUT… Read more

what they did is to manipulate the exchange rates both ways, with the end result that I was out of pocket $95 for a bill of only $150. No amount of discussion changed their mind and my $150 bill cost me almost $250. I am certain that these tactics are used generally to fleece more money from overseas clients and people should really be aware of their inability to get justice with companies such as this. AsiaTravel.com is a joke. Don’t trust this company – they will rip you off and you will have no recourse. There are plenty of other legitimate booking agencies out there.

Reliable, good value and offers inclusions – I reckon asiatravel.com is a very good third party hotel booking site because it has local Asian offices (it's a Singaporean business) and has a good inventory of hotels in southeast Asia (particularly Singapore, Philippines, non-Bali Indonesia and Malaysia, plus Thailand and Bali. Its prices are usually excellent. You have to watch it a bit… Read more

as the final price (including tax and charges) is now further 'into' the booking process. There's a five per cent off discount scheme, and mystery hotel rates called 'Crazy rates' in countries like Singapore and Philippines.

Don't use it for Australia, US or Europe as its prices per night are not as good value. Excellent hotel range, good backup customer service, terrific 'Crazy rates' mystery hotel nights Its IT systems could do with an overhaul. A bit clunky to use.
