Hi I have a d3111wh Asko dishwasher and are wanting to find out why the pump keeps running after its last wash. Power has been switched off for 1 day but when switched power back on pump starts up again. Cheers Rob

I have an ASKO D3111 dishwasher that has started to leak from underneath the machine. I think it is from (or near) the pump. Is it possible/easy to repair myself or should I call a Technician?

I've repaired this dishwasher myself on a number of occasions. I replaced the pump hose with hose I bought from the hardware store and siliconed it into position, cleaning out the pump mechanism while it was out of the machine. On another occasion I repaired the float cut-off switch for excess water in the tray myself. The cost of the item through a retailer was preposterous ($48) so I searched and found something similar for $5. I realise not everyone has the capacity to do these repairs but if you're a mechanically able and logical person aware of the dangers of wrongly fitting electrical connectors or an electrician why not have a go? Just be sure to turn off hoses and unplug (i.e. do not just switch off) the machine. My machine has now seen me through 13+ years for a cost of about $25
What was the Asko D3111 priced at brand new? Also looking for HxWxD?
