One of my house is built over water sewer line many company refused to build the house but Aston Millan staff were very helpful so I decided go with this company.

Many people have different journey to build a house mine was very peaceful and thankful.

I am moving in two weeks later and I write this comments before final inspection because I want to say how thankful I am now.

building your own "forever" home (especially as we live interstate, so couldn't go & physically check progress). We've never been happier to be proven wrong! At no point have we ever felt Aston Milan compromised service or quality just because this was an investment property. The selections they presented were gorgeous but they happily accommodated the few changes we wanted, even sourcing a particular finish of tile I wanted. We were blown away by the attractive home we were walked through at practical completion, and we're confident that the home will appeal to home owners just as much as it does to tenants, if we ever sell, making it a great investment.

From the beginning, the service and communication was fantastic and that continues to be the case, even 12 months after handover. As the home approached the 12 month old mark, we were contacted to remind us that the initial defect warranty was nearing it's end, fill out the form attached to report any issues for rectification. Being busy means you can forget to do these things, but we received 2 more reminders, still with enough time to organise handovers.com to conduct a maintenance inspection for us. We didn't think the few relatively minor things would be covered under warranty, and were totally OK with that, so sent Michael at Aston Milan a copy of the report with a "thanks, but nothing major for warranty". To which he responded, "these are covered under warranty" and then liased with our property manager to get them fixed. So easy!

It just cements our opinion that Aston Milan have integrity as well as the great quality & service, and we would not hesitate to build with them again. Love them!

Disappointed, extremely disappointed! – Power was initially installed on the opposite side of the house to where it was marked on the plan, it has now been relocated. Sliding doors on bottom floor are not the ones shown to us by the sales person and don't match the correct ones on the second floor, the handles aren't even the same colour. been a waste of time, we had to actually contact the airconditioning company ourselves, lost heaps of wardrobe space as nominated voids weren't used for the ducting, we ended up with 9 and there were only 4 nominated on the plan, space paid for that is now not usable. Parts of the aircon installation were not functional, one section of ducting was compressed into a 9cm space, there's no way air was getting through there. Problem with aircon resolved now but only by going directly to the company supplying the system. They were great.

Our private certifier has just been through the property and flagged several defects, we will see how quickly or not these will be resolved.

Just to update, our issue with the sliding doors has now been resolved, thanks to the director of the company. It would be nice if he addressed the other issues/defects, that we have now contacted QBCC about, several windows, sills and bulkheads are at different heights, yes it looks really bad and they are not at the heights agreed on the contract.

I wish you could add pictures here, no, I wish someone had written a review here before, so I could have avoided this company.

Please check that you get what you've paid for if you decide to use this builder, media room insulation which we were charged a lot for was forgotten, fortunately we noticed this as they were installing the ceiling and they did put it in the next day. The same cannot be said for the alfresco and garage ceilings which are now finished and have no insulation in place and no way of now getting it in. It clearly states in the contract that this was to be provided, apparently the contract is only valid when they want money and they then decide that you will be in breach if your a minute over, even when they are months behind with your build.

Sorry for the long rant, it has been a very stressful time dealing with this builder.

Always took/returned calls, answered every silly question with great patience and made the whole experience pleasing.

They did mess up our feature pillar though, looks nothing like what we wanted (even sent them a photo from their own website) and were told it can't be changed.

The only negative would be the limitation of choices when doing selections, but that was early last year, they have improved that immensely I'm told.

Would highly recommend.

our construction supervisor Shaun, I cannot express enough how happy we were with the completed build, Shaun was always available to answer our questions, bounce our queries off and give us input/feedback through every stage of our construction. Having someone with expert knowledge is essential to new home builders and Shaun has been amazing with his assistance during this process.

We were very happy with the set price for our home, and this company also lists what extra/addons can be selected and these prices were set out in the design information booklet for the home. I found this to be an excellent idea and a great option as the client knows immediately what the costings will be and can budget accordingly. Also, it gave us extra ideas for other options we would never have thought of

We absolutely love our new home, and would highly recommend Aston Milan to anyone looking to build in the future.

October 9th 2017 Update: Fabulous Building Experience from start to finish

My second review for Aston Milan Homes, (Drysdale 28 - finished 24/10/17 Ormeau Hills) - its been 12 months since hand over of new home, the after hand over service has been exceptional with a dedicated care manager assigned to us. We had a fabulous building experience from beginning to end with Aston Milan and excellent follow up service during the last 12 months in relation to minor issue rectification. Each issue raised was acted upon swiftly and resolved in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend this builder.
