Free shipping is definitely NOT free shipping. Fee for WA area AND THEN an extra fee for out of Metro area meant almost $100 shipping on a $190 item. I won't be shopping here again.

replacement. He blamed the contamination on the fact that the shipping box was left unopened for a few days, claiming his process is '100% sterile.' However, external humidity should not affect items inside hermetically sealed bags if they were truly sterile to begin with. Disappointed in the lack of customer support and the refusal to honor consumer guarantees for defective goods.

returning my emails. Definitely not the service that Aussie mushroom supplies advertises. I've purchased 4 bags in total, and one was infected, so maybe you should calculate that into the equation when ordering, and definitely not rely on there 'so called' return policy that appears to be complete nonsense. I certainly won't be ordering any more from "Aussie mushroom supplies". I just wish I saw all of the negative reviews before ordering.

The box said if not using straight away to put it in the fridge. Upon taking it out to grow, the only thing that grew was mould. dragging on for weeks. They should have just teplaced it and retained a customer. Only recourse now is contacting Fair Trading.

Excellent customer care, I had a manufacturer defective product that was in my order and we came to a resolution with no issues.

Just not worth it – Ordered coral and oyster, followed the instructions: oyster box was reasonable, coral close to zero. For that much money I could buy much more mushrooms from shops :(

Terrible customer service, can't even pack a box properly – Ordered a dozen jars, on arrival two were smashed as they were INCREDIBLY poorly packed... literally no packaging, just thrown in a thin cardboard box with a strip of cardboard in between the jars. more jars "As per our policy" (which breaches Australian Consumer Law). They don't even sell single jars so what am I supposed to do with this?

I required 12 jars for a project, 10 is not enough. They don't sell singles, so now I have to buy another six or 12 pack to do the job. I won't be buying them from these dodgy guys.

I went around in circles with support for days until the owner chimed in to condescendingly tell me "Most people are fine with this" like I'm an a***hole for wanting them to deliver the product they committed to delivering. The 12 jars were to be used for the first step in a four-step process for which I already have ALL of my materials, so being two jars short creates waste i the next steps and will leave me short on my product at the end of the process.

This has been one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. I had to order another dozen jars elsewhere, and these crooks want me to pay a restocking fee to send the 10 jars that survived back despite their policy being ILLEGAL.

scam mushroom supplier beware – Do not buy of this company. they send inferior mushroom spawn, send the wrong products and then blame you for their incompetence. i should have realised this with all the spelling mistakes on their site and weird wording. DO NOT BUY OF THEM

Doesnt work! – Lions Mane isn't very good. I wasn't aware of the huge difference in efficacy in the different companies I won't buy this one again Price was too good to be true.

The attached photo is from this morning (Wednesday October 4th). Mushrooms are now sprouting from the entire surface, except for the triangle at the top where I cut off the entire flap of plastic packaging. This was me not following the instructions. I have never done this before, I have no idea what I'm doing, and I didn't think it would matter, but apparently it does. In spite of my mistake, I think they are doing well and I'm super excited about the fact that they seem to have grown every time I look at them.

I've had no reason to contact the company, so I can't comment on their customer service, but they shipped it lightning fast and the product seems to be good. The only disappointing aspect of this experience (so far) is the one little patch where (so far) nothing is growing, and that is 100% obviously my own fault.

I should probably also mention that I got the instructions for this kit from the aussiemushroomsupplies website (I followed a link on the product description page). As far as I can tell, there are no instructions included with the kit itself. I never actually opened the box (so they may be inside), but there are no instructions on the box, at least for this particular kit.

Maybe once every 5 years, I find a product that makes me so happy that I go out of my way to leave a positive review. This is one of those occasions. I think mushroom kits are a great gift idea (for people who like mushrooms), and a fun project for kids (although they may need help with setup because knives and boiling water are involved). Based on my limited experience, I would absolutely recommend Aussie Mushroom Supplies to anyone interested in buying a mushroom kit. Overall, I'm very happy.

What a disappointment – First flush I only got 12 mushrooms, second flush Nothing! I followed the instructions to the letter. I emailed the company and their response was disinterest. They fobbed me off, implying I didn't follow the instructions, and clearly didn't properly read my email from what they replied. It's a lot of money for the kit and postage for 12 mushrooms! I'm on a disability pension and have cancer and they didn't care!

Amazing grow bag and excellent customer service – Amazing customer service and products. The King Oyster grow bag I bought is doing very well. Fruiting began the day after receiving it. Emailing these guys is amazing. Very quick to respond and answer any questions I had.

Reliable supplier – I've used these guys mushroom spawn for years with no problems at all, recently bought a HEPA filter for my business from them, not once have I had a problem with product quality or delivery times

When it arrived I carefully unpacked it and read the very vague instructions and started to setup the kit, after waiting for 20 days and still nothing happening I contacted the supplier asking for advice on what to do, the reply was to start again but the instructions that the supplier told me were completely different to what was in the kit.

However I followed the instructions that was told to me to the letter and waited, and waited, after 12 more days with still nothing happening I contacted the supplier again and all they did was to give me the run around you know the usual photos, what temperature it is etc, etc which I gladly did.

Still nothing after 7 more days, by now it is been over 40 days since I started this growing kit and all I have is this lump of brown muck which resembles something that you leave behind in the toilet, I asked the supplier to return the item through ebay and after 5 days the supplier rejected my claim to return it and the case was closed by ebay.

Aussie Mushrooms kept on asking for photos of the setup even after I told them 3 times that the setup was taken down and placed in the bin because it just did not work and given the time frame never would work, all they were doing was wasting time knowing that the time frame for ebay to step in was now past and there was nothing more that I could do to get my money back or a replacement.

If I were you I would give Aussie Mushrooms a wide berth and buy fresh mushies from Woolies or Coles at least if something goes wrong it will be sorted out not like Aussie Mushrooms.
