Goods not delivered, money not refunded – I bought 2 desks from Aussie Office Furniture on Dec 31st and was put off and put off about the delivery date until finally I received an email advising me that the business would be closing its doors and that they will be declaring bankruptcy. I was advised to seek a refund through either my financial institution or PayPal - however, like another poster here, it was outside the 45 day dispute period. I have contacted Aussie Office Furniture and requested a refund and been completely ignored. I have reported the company to Consumer Protection in WA (where I am), however all they could do was email and ask that they refund my money - they also got no response from Aussie Office Furniture. It's now been a month since they emailed me and their website is still running, suggesting they may still be taking orders. Do not buy from this company.

Did not deliver, will not refund

So disappointing that an estblished family owned company could treat customers with so little respec – I too, ordered and prepaid for a lateral 2 drawer filing cabinet on January 10 with a 3-4 week delivery given. Despite an assurance by email on 18th February that it would be delivered the following week, nothing! While googling for their phone number today, I discovered this product review site and got the bad news; needless to say the phone number listed is no longer operable. The consoling news is that having paid by Westpac credit card, the bank has given me a temporary credit for the full amount paid while they take up the matter on my behalf.

Apparently operating & accepting orders & payment while knowingly insolvent

Warning. Gone broke – Placed an order and paid in full 5 Jan 2014. Eight week manufacture time, contacted company to see when delivery is scheduled. Aussie Office Furn replied that they have closed their doors, have no money, and said to contact paypal. As it is outside 45 day dispute period paypal will not assist. This company are still advertising and offering specials at their online store. I have reported them to consumer affairs.

Failed to supply. Closed doors. They advised the directors are preparing for bankruptcy
