Sorry Aussie Bum but my business goes elsewhere now. Received my latest order and must say quality has declined a great deal but prices remain unchanged. Even getting them 1/2 price isn't a bargain anymore. Be looking at other Brands from now on. These looks and feel like a good product, sizing seems to be ok as well… the only problem I am having with them is the label ticket on the back seam is scratchy as hell, and I’m unable to remove the label… and I’m not one of those guys that tucks my shirt into my undies, but that’s the only way to stop the scratching, it is very annoying and uncomfortable…
Unfortunately they don't seem to make any of their products in Australia anymore, which is really disappointing. I still own quite a few of their Aussie made undies, and they are still holding up really well. I've moved to buying from different brands now because of this. Wish they would bring back their well made products.
The masters of spam - despite asking to be removed from their mailing lists, 5 years later (yep, 5 years) they still send me junk mail. Quality is average and they NEVER have half their stuff in stock. Also, the manager/owner was disrespectful in a follow up. Never again. Be very careful dealing with this company, I did buy a trail product, not impressed, but since then I have been inundated with emails, unsubscribe doesn’t work, for the past 3 years I just keep getting unwanted emails, I will never deal with this company ever again.
Buy once and be forever bombarded by marketing no matter how many times you unsubscribe. Go. Away.
Recently I ordered 3 pair of "speedo" style swimwear from AussieBum, all in "Large" size. When I received them 1 pair was considerably later than the other 2, and was baggy to wear. I sent a message to AussieBum via their website on 2 July 2025 advising them of the inconsistancy in sizing, and to date I have not received the courtesy of a response. These morons haven't stocked their shelves in years. Not 1 item I chose is available. Why would I ever choose you again. Your ceo is out and about flashing his cash while your shelves stay empty for years. Grinch: Aussiebum – Uncomfortable underwear. They also send out spam text messages on Christmas day when you've already unsubscribed.
Product has changed – I’ve worn Aussie bum for about 11 years. In their prime this company’s product was fantastic. Great fit, elastic held up and reasonably long lasting. feels like fast fashion for men’s underwear and sadly with the same price tag hasn’t changed. They seem to have removed some styles that require too much stitching to put together and when they’re marketing suggesting new styles that are “breathable and lightweight” it basically means thin, cheap and synthetic. More recently they seem to have adopted the sneaker approach of making pairs of underwear synched pieces of fabric and no stitching but the result is just unsupportive and not particularly breathable. They also seem to stretch and not hold their shape nearly as well. So I throw them out more often. I’m sad as I really liked AussieBum but now I’ve started looking for a new brand to buy.

Had to get Fair Trading involved – I had to get Fair Trading involved with an issue that Aussiebum refused to acknowledge. It was with their sizing chart and their range of swimwear. was sent (was medium) but were too small.
When I told them they were too small, they told me to "refer to the size chart" for sizing.
So then I ordered a "Large" even though every other pair of underwear I had ordered up until that point of time was a medium. The Large were too small as well.
When I contacted them again, again they referred me to the size chart. Then they asked me for order numbers, dates and photo's of the swimwear, all of which I did, and still I got nowhere with them.
Their dismissive attitude towards me went on and on.
Then I contacted Fair Trading.
All of a sudden their attitude changed and the issue was finally sorted (although still waiting for the replacement pair to be sent out) and they finally admitted that the sizing for that range of swimwear DID run small.
All along I was in the right, and they were in the wrong.
This whole saga has taken three months!
I've been a loyal customer of Aussiebum for over 10 years, but after all they put me though, I will never deal with them again!
They don’t stand by their product – A pair I’ve worn only a few times started falling apart. Sent AB a photo and asked for a replacement. They said they don’t replace anything over 90 days old. Pretty poor approach to customer service in my view, especially when I’ve bought quite a bit of stuff from them over time. Show details
Good Aus made swimwear (male) – Shipping speed is fantastic ! The swimmers feel a lot thinner than my last purchase …. Was about 4 years ago, they were great, so will see how long these ones last. (Swim @ least twice a week) Hence 4 stars. The gym / swimming shorts just don’t feel right in their shape and fit unfortunately. Very tight in the legs when sitting etc. But great to see an Aus made product with an easy to use website and shipping/communication is excellent !
