⚠️ This Company is extremely dodgy and has suddenly gone into liquidation ! Please be aware that Australian Made Clotheslines has taken orders very recently which it now can’t fulfil. I paid for a clothesline a few months ago and will now have to take steps to recover my money.
NELSON INTERNATIONAL is their parent company and they run a number of other similar businesses, so please exercise caution if dealing with any of them. Disgusting company
Follow-up · NELSON INTERNATIONAL has now gone into liquidation owing money to a long list of customers. At this stage it doesn’t look like unsecured creditors will get a refund unless they can activate a reversal through their payment company. I hope the directors of this company are investigated properly and prevented from repeating the same thing with a new company
Worst company ever. Ordered in September and was told it was coming each time I followed up. Received cover but not the clothesline (not installed yet so cannot comment on quality etc) . Company is now in liquidation. Supposedly getting our money back but still waiting.
Ordered a fold down clothesline that we were told was in stock in September. Its now mid December and still not delivered we get the same generic response that it has been delayed due to warehouse reorganisation, you should receive your clothesline soon. Same response every time I contact them. Then today I see the other reviews on here saying that these same issues have been going on all year. If you don't want to wait 3 + months don't buy from this company.
Worst company ever!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Ordered a clothesline on 16th February and still not made or delivered, company keep beating around the bush and not providing any actual information same story every email. Delays in the warehouse and we will advise soon and nothing! Asked for a refund and you’ve got to apply for the cancellation which will take further delays to even get our money back! Will be going to fair trading! Do not buy
So, I ordered a fold down clothesline from this mob early Jan 2025 and despite the website saying delivery up to approx. 12 - 19 working days. it only arrived yesterday (20/03/2025) I haven't installed it yet so that will be my next adventure. They gave some story around Jan holiday period, and it's been made and delivered from Sydney blah blah..... Their response was always the same as mentioned, so if you are thinking of buying a clothesline, I would highly recommend you don't bother or expect it to come months later!!!!!
