Supers Super Service

Happy Member

I can visit an office and talk to a human!

After getting frustrated with the call centre and angry with a stupid chatbot, it was worth a train trip to be tentatively reassured by Scott at the office in George St. I'm only tentatively reassured, because I've only just defected to ART after a less-than-very unsatisfactory association with Aussie Super. Amicable Outcome

I had a problem on the Q Super platform and raised my concerns with two staff members over the phone. After not being able to seek a resolution, I put my concerns in writing outlining my case as I has sustained a monetary loss albeit small. Pleasingly Jillian an I.T., support specialist understood and accommodated my concerns; the matter was thus accordingly resolved. Show reply

Very kind and helpful staff

I needed to rollover part of my super fund balance. Lodged the forms online, waited a few days and then rang to enquire if I needed to do anything further. Liam answered the phone and was able to completely assist me - forms were received and being attended to. He then took it further and checked with the necessary department and let me know that they had confirmed everything was correct and moved my case to the payment department for it to be paid out.

Good old fashioned Customer Service

Called ART and spoke to Giles about withdrawing some money from my Super Account. I was having trouble with filling the form online and after some troubleshooting Giles offered to do it himself manually over the phone, originally I was hesitant as I was aware this was going to take a lot of his time. He insisted that it was no trouble and we completed the application over the phone. I was told my money could take between 5-8 business days depending on the bank. I got my money in 2 business days. I could not be more happy with the experience in dealing with ART and how Giles went above and beyond to help me out. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Show 2 replies

Perfect until you place request for access to your funds

SunSuper staff were extremely helpful and polite. Always showed patience and willingness to assist. This has not been the case with ART. To the contrary. A request online for a small portion of my funds was not processed. Contact was made on my behalf to rectify this. I was met with a disinterested individual. After a lengthy period he found a mistake had been made by staff processing my request. He assured me it was now being processed. After a week still no funds. On contacting them today I was met with a more willing member who was prepared to help. Today processing of my request has begun. I hope.

Very helpfull meeting with Justin who explained everything we wanted in a simple and easy to understand way

We wanted advice on how super work getting close to retirement and what we could expect from the resources we had. Justin spent the time we needed without rushing us . we appreciated his recommendations based on our particular circumstance. Show reply

Cleared up the fog of retiring

We have nothing but good things to say about ART, from the use of the app and website through to the knowledge of the financial advisor, Jim that we spoke to. We have done alot of research but needed some clarity around our plan. Jim sorted through everything in a very professional and efficiant manner and was patient with me when I was confused. Why does Australian Retirement Trust avoid giving its customers direct responses to their genuine concerns and questions when asked why ART is incapable of complying with the 3 day legal requirement to rollout to a SMSF? Why does ART customer service not proactively contact its customers to request further information and why is the processing team incapable of processing a rollout to a SMSF within 3 days? Why does the ART customer complaints email generate vague, general and non-specific emails that do not address ART customer concerns about Australian Retirement Trust non-compliance to the 3 day rule? ART, where is my investment money and why are you incapable of processing my request on time? If you need more information from me, then why haven't you asked for it?! Don't you arrogant people dare respond to ask me to finle a complaint! I have already filed a complaint and I have heard nothing back except a generic email! I am so angry with ART. If you want your investment money, don't give it to Australian Retirement Trust because their staff are all on a mental holiday, or have stood in the sun for too long -- brains absolutely cooked!!

How long does it take once approved for early release of super under financial hardship? How long does it take to clear in bank account once in the final stage of processing ?
