Extremely disappointed with Australian Unity Investment Bonds following their takeover of the IOOF WealthBuilder portfolios. There is no where to review them so I have put it here. The transition has been poorly managed from the start. Months later there is still limited access to accounts, unclear information around contributions, and ongoing delays with the investor portal despite repeated assurances that it is “coming soon”.

Trying to contact support has been incredibly frustrating. I have made multiple attempts to get assistance and have either been unable to get through or promised callbacks that never happened. Last week I finally spoke with a polite consultant who escalated my concerns to a manager and advised I would receive a callback the same day. More than a week later, still nothing.

This is not the level of service you expect when trusting a company with long-term investments for your children’s future. Customers should not have to chase basic information or feel like an inconvenience.

At this stage I am seriously considering withdrawing my investments and moving to a provider with competent systems, communication, and customer service.

Very disappointing experience.
