Australian Wildlife Supplies

I have absolutely had enough of this company. Their customer service is unproffesional. Their free delivery offer is unreliable and website is faulty. Too many times they have screwed something up and I'm sick of it, i've been beyond patient with them. If you have birds that need a bag of seed by a certain time when about to run out, don't bother with these guys, they will run your birds at risk of starving if you rely on their service and timing your supply with their "promised" delivery service.
To the owners, if you can't deliver on a promise then don't offer it. Just make us pay for shipping at this point. How do you afford to lose a repeat customer in this economy?
Poor customer service – My order was cancelled without explanation. I then contacted them to ask why it was cancelled, and did not receive any response. I did say I could order less, or pay more freight, if either was the issue, but was ignored.
Pantry moths in seed – In October 2022 I purchased seed from Australian wildlife supplies, a mixture of greens and grains, linseed seed, annual ryegrass and more. I purchased the seed prior to running out, knowing some seeds were getting hard to acquire. I didn’t open the seed until mid March and to my amazement it had cobweb like thread in the bag which I thought was weevil. I rang the Australian wildlife supplies and spoke with a female who was reluctant to say anything about the situation except that they don’t treat any seed for any pests, but took my number and said she would pass on my concerns and someone would contact me. I waited but there was no response so on the 20 April 2023 I sent an email explaining how I’d phoned explaining again what had happened with pictures of a grub found in the seed. There was still no reply, so on the 29 April 2023 I sent another email saying I was disappointed that no one had bothered to contact me and this prompted a reply by phone from Ray the following day. He was very polite and told me it wasn’t weevils but a codling moth and they have never had a problem with any thing like that before and that it must’ve come from my end, and because the seed has been in my possession for so long he wouldn’t except any responsibility. I have since found out it’s not codling moths but Indianmeal moths or the more popular name pantry moth. As I explained to Ray, all of my seed is stored in plastic sealed containers, as was his seed and not stored with any other seed. I have no problems with any other seed I have stored, Budgie mix, whole oats, millet and more. I only have a problem with the seed I purchased from Australia wildlife Supplies that was in a sealed bin and un-opened. Hence I don’t have any faith in purchasing products from them.
poor service – On 8th March 2023 I ordered via the Internet 3 bottles of Avi-Calcium the price of which was a total of $62.40 for the product plus $20.00 shipping. On 17th March I received a box containing only 2 bottles plus an invoice saying 2 supplied and 1 refunded at $20.80. There was nothing to say why only 2 supplied, however on their website the shipping for 2 of these items should have been $16.95. There was no mention of a refund of partial cost of shipping. I then emailed the supplier asking why only 2 bottles supplied but charged for shipping for 3 and subsequently received a refund of $3.05 with no explanation as to why I only received 2 bottles. I have revisited the company website and the product is still available and am able to order 3 bottles with a postage of $20.00. I am at a loss to understand why the Company chose to only supply 2 bottles with no explanation as to why. Perhaps they want me to order an other bottle with full shipping cost? I would not use this Company again.
