I was trying to remove the radio head unit from my 2002 Ford Laser but find it would't release. Being a Saturday I rang Auto One the lass that I spoke to said bring the car in but their fitters didn't work on the week ends bt she was sure that somebody couls help. I set of for Tamworth (100 kms away) When I arrived I was greeted by glassy eyed… Read more
people who talked among themselves and eventually 1 person (who also didn't seem enthusiastic) attempted without success to do it. I was told that I would have to make an appointment for the fitters on Monday. I said I would have to ring and confirm the booking. When I arrived home I thought yes I would do it, so I rang and confirmed it at that time I was told I had to pay a deposit to which I paid $30.00. Today I had a rethink and tried to change it to Thursday as that was the day I come down to do my shopping. There was no time in my day to allow the time they could give me. As the return journing from home is 200 kms I was trying to minimize the travel and fuel expense (fuel would cost me about $100.00 over all, also I have just come out of radiotherapy. I have to go down tomorrow. I will have the work done but I think after many years a loyal client, it will possibly be the last. If I wanted to be treated with contempt and brushed off there are a myriad of places to shop. It makes it too expensive to deal with these buffoons. I am a 76 y/o in very poor health but that doesn't amount to anything. I don't know how many thousand dollars I have spent there but the way I feel now that has ended. Super Cheap looks good to me.
purely customer service review used these guys regularly for parts to repair my old Jeep even recommended them . then i bought a Prado 2002 model after a while it needed maintenance a water pump not unusual for a 20 + year old vehicle turns out it needed a timing belt as well again no surprise i decided it would take me to long to do it myself so… Read more
i asked the guys at the parts counter if they could recommend a mobile mechanic which they did I WANT TO BE CLEAR I DONOT HOLD AUTO ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MECHANICS WORK he was not up to the job the wires on my aircon compressor were torn off the radiator was damaged and the job not completed the heater hose was left disconnected so i had words with the mechanic named Brian who soon blocked my calls. the fallout from this is the problem now if i contact them and give them my rego i get ignored and my messages go un answered with no explanation if there a problem they need to grow a set and say so ill just take my business elsewhere
Sunbury auto one I wouldn't let them install any audio at all. They quoted & installed speakers & amp on a 2022 ford ranger. After taking it back 3 times they had to remove the amp saying it couldn't be done on the ranger & blaming a staff member who wasn't there for saying it could be done. They accept no responsibility & make excuses. They had… Read more
my car for 2 full days & a third day for a few hours which ended up with me borrowing a car & leaving work early on 2 days. I know of other rangers that run amps. They fitted a light bar without a relay. Some wiring was wrong so speakers cut out. I had a rear seat console fridge that they removed & because they didn't anchor it back down it flew into the front seat when l had to brake. Luckily my son wasn't in the car. An absolute nightmare! Now l wouldn't trust them to fit a Headlight bulb.
I did exactly as the ad suggested, contacted the team to get suitability for my vehicle. They could not confirm!!! This is their response "As you can imagine, there are 10's of thousands of vehicles all with different trim levels. We are not able to confirm this as we don't have access to all vehicles" I provided vehicle make, model, year and… Read more
confirmed it wasn't on their list of vehicles it wasn't suitable for. I won't be buying. This relates to the EOSS Wireless Smartphone device (USB)
Auto One Morley - Dishonest Service – Arrogant Service and Inaccurate Description- Advertised in FB market place an Under Tray Tool Box, I message them to hold one for me. Same day I came to pick it up today, 08 Feb 2025 and found that the tool box was locked and keys are inside. After trying a lot of keys to open it, the manager (maybe) told us that the only way to open it is to drill… Read more
the lock and go to key shop. And told me that is why its cheap or in clearance, ( trying to justify their mistake???). But they never mentioned that in their ads. If only the manager apologised and talked nicely to me I might take it home, but justifying thats why its on clearance in an arrogant way, I just walked away from them.Thank you Auto One Morley for wasting an hour of my life.
Wow what an amazing business to work with – Ok, well recently I ordered a two-part product from Autoone and only received half of it. The product needs both parts to function. I let them know that a part was missing. WOW not only did I receive an extremely prompt reply, I received an admission of fault from them, a fix for the issue and a commitment from the staff member looking after… Read more
this issue to keep an eye on the courier tracking whilst he is on holidays. I could not be happier with their attitude, no politically correct rubbish here, no silence, no denying or trying to move the issue elsewhere, no “passing it on” just honesty, apology and a fix. Guys you have won me. There are others who could learn from your attitudes, well done.
It seems that they are not national but independent stores – Auto One appears to be a chain of independent stores operating under the one name, that's what I was told at the Auto One store at Castle Hill, on the same site as the head office. I wanted to return an item that I had bought at Waitara, I was near Castle Hill and not near Waitara. I had bought the wrong size and wanted the larger version. He… Read more
said that themy didn't stock the item that I bought at Waitara so they could not refund my purchase but convinced me to buy the larger item at Castle Hill. I am not sure that I believe him. I normally shop at Waitara and spend thousands of dollars a year, I like the Waitara store, the guys are helpful and deserve a 5 star review. This however does show a reason to check out other brands that maybe more national.
Misleading to get a sale and very unprofessional – Yesterday morning I called this branch Auto One in Mascot and told the salesman i desperately needed a part for my car Yesterday. He checked and said I can have the part by 5pm. He would call me to collect it. This branch is 25 minutes drive away frm my home. Again, I told that needed the same day. He promised the part ready by latest 5pm and he… Read more
will call me. The price was 70% more than other petutable company price. But happily paid the higher price because i need it in same day this Mascot branch promised me the part ready on the same day. From 4.50pm I've been calling this branch since never recrreived call as they promised and was kept call until 5.20pm they never answered. It's already 9am on the following day but still no call from the Auto One me to collect the part. I could have had purchased from another company where I could buy for 70% cheaper than this AutoOne and delivered my home within 3 days. But I trusted this branch paid when salesman realised my desperation said I can have thev part on the same day asked me pay. This Mascot branch took advantage of my situation and mislead me with empty promise. This is the second day and still no call received from this branch don't have the part or update. Don't trust this company Auto One. It's misleading and not trust worthy. Check around other companies for your auto part needs. I'm sure you'll find cheap, reliable and trustworthy than this AutoOne especially the branch in Mascot NSW. I can see this AutoOne has done this to many customer as per their reviews.
Honest and Helpful Car Parts store – This branch of Auto 1 is very good. The staff know their business and are very helpful. Won't sell you things you don't really need or a more expensive brand of what you want. They often have a line of customers waiting at the counter that go all the way back to the entry door, people I'll bet have been there before and happy with the deal they got, like me.
Worst service ever!!! – At mascot NSW store, asked for help and advice to select and purchase a spanner for particular bolt I was holding, I was told by assistant at front desk go and find yourself at giant wall of spanners, 3 further requests for advice produce no interest or help. I can't recall ever such bad service in any retail store, I will cancelling my Auto One membership card and never going back to Auto One. Show details
Overcharged and promised refund, dodged emails – Had a product advertised online at a certain price then charged more on pick up. Months later and they have stopped responding to emails after promising a partial refund as a solution. Shame as I did not go there often and wanted to give them a go over the bigger local stores. AUTO ONE BROWNS PLAINS OVER CHARGES AT THE COUNTER MORE THAN TICKET PRICE – Auto One Browns Plains over charges on Ticketed price at the counter. Two times in a row I have been overcharged. WARNING, do not shop here. They STEAL OFF YOU. When I made a complaint, Management didnt Care one bit. The Shop is expensive as it is without OVER CHARGING on goods. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
advertise things on special when they have never stocked them – advertise products that aren't in stock. Website says in stock. When in fact theres not even a spot for it in the section with the same branded products. Show details

Outstanding service! – My remote car key stopped working recently and I had no idea what to do. I own a Subaru Impreza. I did not know how to access the battery inside the key, nor where to find a manual key. To make a long story short, I took the train to my local Subaru dealer to solve my dilemma. For anyone in this situation, there is a much simpler solution in… Read more
hindsight: read your Subaru manual (or give the dealer a ring - mine was unavailable). I wasted much time waiting for a slow public transport option, not to speak of the increased Omicron risk on public transport!
Thankfully, once at my dealer, I was shown how to open the key and...where the manual key was tucked away in the remote key. Next, I needed to go and get some batteries for the keys (+spare). Opposite the dealer, there was an Auto One shop. Once there, I was served by a young shop attendant. I asked if he would help me to place the batteries in the two keys and he was very willing to do so. Both he and a young female shop attendant tried to open the keys, which proved a challenging and time-consuming task. They did not give up though and put the job squarely back to me, as most would have done. With the help of additional tools and the advice of a third staff member, the batteries were eventually inserted and I was handed two fully functioning keys!
Outstanding dedication to customer satisfaction! Well done Auto One and its staff at Waitara!
Top service – Very happy with the service I always receive from the team. Always happy to help, no question is too hard. Show details
Battery SCAM ALERT! – Warranty 40 months. Started to die (didn't start twice/had to roll start) at 13 months! Drove 1.5 hrs to get a replacement at Auto1 and was told that because it wasn't totally dead they needed to send it off to their rep. They expected me to Flintstone it in my car for days without a battery whilst they verify the battery is cactus!? THIS IS AN… Read more
ABSOLUTE SCAM! You need to be dead on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, then pay to get towed back to AUTO1 Just the get a replacement of the same crap battery. Warranty claim made for refund and opened claim with ombudsman and department of fair trading to see how this is even legal? Worst Company of my life
Staff, did not know, there own Web site – Staff did know there own Web site, with regard to pricing specials, said specials where finished, when in fact, they where still on, according to the promotion date, on there Web site, won't be driving out of my way to go there again, to unreliable. Auto One Morisset – this strange store never has any stock, the store always looks like its closing down the elderly guy who is maybe the owner there always has some stupid excuse why there is no stock as advertised in the catalog there is never enough staff to help you anyway Its a pity there isn't any opposition in the area On a positive note, there is occasionally a helpful sales person or two working but don't see them there often Show details
Miss leading customers by auto one Blacktown Please don’t trust Also they are very abrupt and disrespectful – I have purchased a super charge battery with 40 months warranty on it. Service and prices – Seen the ad in local paper re pen-rite semi synthetic oil fro 29.95, i called the store and they confirmed the price to be 29,95 for 5 liters of 10w40 or 5w40 i asked my son to get the oil which he did and didn't receive a receipt. Muffler & Exhaust Repair Kit – Non refund for a product that was totally inappropriate for the suggested use. I purchased 2 # muffler & exhaust repair kits from the Auto One store in Rockingham, WA. In fact they had only one part supplier but 2 kits, only difference between kits was included wire. My repair task was a muffler which the store assistant was made aware. On the… Read more
same day on attempted my repair task.
After opening the package, it was obvious kit was totally inappropriate as a repair kit for a muffler. The included wire confirmed kit was more appropriate for repair kit for exhaust pipe. The tape was absolutely 'flimsy' and not able to stay in place without the wire and the wire would not fit the muffler.
Next day I returned both kits.
I was seeking a refund of both purchased items.
I was advise that one was opened and use was attempted. I agreed with the sales person .
No matter how much I attempted to talk about the inappropriateness of the product for the task, which the sales person on the previous day knew.
I am upset with the product I was sold and further that Auto One would not accept and provide a refund for the opened product.
Auto One place on their receipts a warning to be carefully about choosing correctly as they do not provide refund for change of mind.
My issue is not a change of mind.
I have 2 issues :
1. Product offering to be a muffler repair and clearly product is suitable for exhaust pipe.
2. Auto One not accepting to provide a refund for the opened item and to take the concern to the product supplier.
Great service from Dave at Castle Hill! – Great service from Dave at Castle Hill. He helped take out the light bulb and put in the new one, whilst he was on his break! Excellent customer service
No Trouble – Auto one Armadale WA What an awesome bunch of people nothing is ever to much trouble , I've had them searching for all types if parts and tools . They all ways come good with items I need or they give me the information on were to get what I'm looking for .. Well done guys & girls of auto one Armadale .. Thanks Brian
Don't refund for faulty merchandise – We bought a mirror for our car but couldn't use it because the bolt stripped its thread when being tightened. Returned with receipt but Auto one would not refund- instead gave us a gift certificate. Would be helpful if the nearest store to where we live was closer than 3,000 kms. Should have bought it at Repco!
Very happy – Guys at auto one black town are very helpful. They helped me out a fair few times A1 for service
sales person and parts – I went A one auto. Great shopp and Staff. They were very helpful. I would advise anyone who wants car part to go to A one auto
Will never go there again – Went to Broome Auto one to get a roof rack fixed. The roof rack itself was very good. But the service from Auto one was never good except on the phone. Once I reached the shop the person I spoke to was different all of a sudden! May be he had a bad day at work or at home but that is not an excuse! While putting the rail up they even broke my car's… Read more
roof rail channel! Had to spend more money at my service centre to get that fixed. I won't be visiting their shops again unless I had a broken tyre in front of their shop and the next available service is 100kms away. Were very friendly on phone Were not friendly at all in person at the shop. Bad craftsmanship too. I don't think they knew what they were doing.
