Great that it's fragrace free, provides good hydration, takes a while to be absorbed but then leaves greasy finger prints, even 12 hours later. Terrible for touch screens makes a mess of shiny surfaces, glasses and the car. I gave the bottle away and went back to my original brand. Aveeno moisturiser lotion – Happy using the lotion but not happy when the 1L size can’t dispense the lotion once approx 20% still remains in the container, I have to dilute it with H2O.

Packaging lets it down – The 1 litre bottle of Moisturising Lotion is always the best value however all these pump-action containers promote waste. It is almost impossible to get the last 15% of product out without resorting to messy manual means. J&J have been told of this before but they clearly ignor feed-back as can be seen from others review below. This my friends is why we need competition! Show details

contacted customer service but frankly I don’t think they care. They would not confirm a new formula but did not deny it either. I will have to find another product which is a pity because Aveeno has been a fantastic product up until now.

Changed formula!!! – Since aveeno have changed their formula I have had flares using this, it is absolutely awful the main ingredient being petroleum that is in now in it!! Like Acid On The Skin - Beware – This used to be a fabulous moisturiser until recently they have changed the ingredients without disclosing it on the packaging....deceptive! right away. It does not moisturize as well and I am afraid I will start breaking out again. I will be buying Walmart or Walgreens mock of your original version now. They changed the formula – The new formula feels oily on my skin, they no longer use Canadian oats like they used to. They changed the packaging as well, it is now 532ml instead of 600ml. The new formula has caused skin irritation! – I have relied on this product and recommended it to others who suffer from eczema - I didn’t notice the new formula sign until I started getting bad reaction on my face! Why did you change the product – I have used the green top product for years. Great for dry itchy skin. The brown top product is definitely different. what’s happened to the product he recommended. I feel I can’t use, nor trust, your product anymore. I’m very sad as I now have to find a new skin care product. I will be visiting as many stores as possible to buy up their green lid stock.

Bring the old formula back – I have tested the old formula (green lid)on one side of the face and the new formula (brown lid) on other the new one is stinging has a oily finish whereas the old formula was cooling soothing and had a mattifying effect .I thought I got a fake product or something but it seems they have changed the formula.

Disappointed with new formula – I have loved using this for many many years however since they changed the packaging the must have changed the formula. was 1x a day and only where your skin was rough. Please bring back the old formula. I have had to switch to cetaphil.

Formula change – I have used Aveeno skin relief moisturising lotion for years but now that they've changed the formula which was confirmed after I rang the company the cream is no longer the same it used to make your skin soft and moisturising now it does not moisturise at all it doesn't seem to absorb it just sits on top of your skin like a barrier such a shame that Aveeno have ruined such a good moisturising lotion I will not be buying it again. Show details

and assured me their quality team would report back to me, I have heard from no-one. In my view, the smell was significant enough to warrant investigation. I did not have faith that the product would be safe to use. I am surprised to have nothing in writing from them only a request for a call-back. I subsequently wrote to them requesting an email which I have never received. Believing the small represented a hazard to users, I have since changed product. Although I have received a refund from Woolworths for the first two bottles under question (10 March), I was unable to obtain a refund from Inform Pharmacy in Neutral Bay (25 March) so I remain out of pocket to an amount just under $17.00. The product is still in my possession, wrapped as Inform Pharmacy returned it to me. I would appreciate hearing from the Quality Team at Johnson and Johnson by email and I would also appreciate receiving the refund. In the meantime, I strongly recommend users of this fragrance-free product be aware of this issue and refrain from using it if they notice an unusual chemical smell.

I contacted customer service about it and they took some notes and details. I was really take aback with this product as I had read so many good reviews, I went back to the chemist looking for another alternative and I found MooGoo and QV, the shop assistant came over asking if needed help so I asked what did they have on sale in the moisturizers, she pointed out the Aveeno and I told her I can't use that it reacted badly with my skin and made it red and itchy, she said it also reacted with her skin in the same way, it's super expensive when it's not on sale and it's not on sale very often but it doesn't matter to me because I can't use it anyway.

The softest skin I've ever had – I got this lotion as a gift and I have been since converted! It goes on silky smooth and absorbs into my skin quickly leaving it feeling lush and soft. It doesn't have an oily or greasy residue and the smell is gentle and not overwhelming. I won't use another body lotion again! Show details

Daily ritual – I have been using the Aveeno Daily Moisturizer for my face and body for the last 8+ years. It is something I can't live without!!! 2 stars because of its deliberately poor packaging. Its designed to give 3,4 or 5 times as much cream as you need – While this is a very good cream, Im only giving it 2 stars because of its deliberately poor packaging design. And this seems standard with all Aveeno products. The packaging is designed to give 3,4 or 5 times as much cream as you could possibly need. The packaging design team think they are being clever by forcibly increasing the use of the product. But ultimately the design just promoties waste.

Greasy – I have dry skin and need more than standard moisturiser. Even then this lotion is actually leaves sticky greasy layer type thing which needs to be cleaned by a napkin or paper towel. I might get used to it bit this is so uncomfortable and itchy after a week or so usage Show details

Fixed my eczema on my face! – I have been suffering with eczema for a few months now on my face, I relied on steroid creams which eventually seemed to be making the matter worse.. I was recommended this product one day my flare up was really bad, I lathered it on multiple times that day and the next day it was almost gone.. i also stopped using products with ‘fragrance’ in it so could be a combination of both but I am very happy with the results! Show details

The best moisturiser hands down – Best skin cream on the market. Used it for years on my son’s eczema; it was the only moisturiser that stopped him scratching for 24 hours. Nothing else came close and believe me, we tried everything else before it. Now we use it for any dry skin. Feels a little sticky/tacky for the first hour, but then it sinks in and keeps your skin supple all day. Don’t use it if it’s humid as you’ll feel sticky but in dry weather or winter, it’s THE BEST. Show details

Good moisturiser, but the bottle pump needs improvement – It makes my skin moisturised without being sticky. It absorbs quickly. I love that its fragrance free because my nose is sensitive to strong scents. They need to improve the bottle or pump so you could use the lotion up to the bottom of it. If you want to use it up to the bottom, you have to cut open the bottle. With its expensive price, you would want to use up the entire bottle before purchasing a new one. Show details
