Not as good as I expected – I find the Baba Sling quite difficult to position bub in comfortably. Perhaps it’s the amount of fabric. I feel like she gets swamped in it when laying down. I don’t find it is supportive when she’s inward facing and sitting up (I need to use a hand to support her which, in my opinion, defeats the purpose of using it). However, perhaps it works better for other people.

pain in the neck! – I think my newborn looks comfy in it, but it has pulled all my back neck and shoulder. Would not recommend to anyone! Says it sits on your shoulder-it doesn't, its more on my neck! I did however manage to feed baby whilst walking, but the strain of it is too much.

Life saver!!! – I can't rate my baba sling highly enough! It just simply saved my sanity. I used it for all three of my babies and they all loved it as much as I did, which meant I could do washing, cook and do all of the other million jobs I had to do as a mum with two hands and while still holding a very happy and content baby! Even now when I hold a newborn… Read more

baby I reach for my baba sling, which I have kept, because to me it just feels like the easiest, most natural and connected way to hold them.

This was heaven sent! – Bought a Baba sling with my first born. I wanted to stay connected but still have freedom of my arms and not be hindered in my daily tasks. I had tried other carriers but found they rubbed my son, were not comfortable and hard to put on or take off in a hurry. I used my Baba sling from when he was a month old baby right through til he was two… Read more

and I was pregnant with my second. 8mths pregnant I was still able to carry my son in the sling (although he had moved to my back).

This sling has now been used on 5 babies/toddlers. Was one the best investments I made for my children. Would highly recommend to anyone with babies wanting to connect with them on that one on one level.

Really good, natural feeling baby sling – My sister got this sling for my nephew and the whole family used it to carry him around as they went about they're daily business. He really liked it too and would calm down quickly and fall asleep easily in it. It's easy to change positions and it feels really natural once you get the hang of it. You don't feel restricted and it feels secure if… Read more

you wear it right. It's a perfect sling for breastfeeding, makes it easy and private, my sister loved it. It has its limitations, you probably wouldn't take it for a long hike as your shoulder does get sore after a bit. But swapping shoulders is a good solution.

Best Sling! I have carried 4 of my 5 children in it for many years! – I have used the Baba Sling in countless situations with the youngest 4 of my 5 children... I have stood in line at the post office breastfeeding my newborn, with complete discretion. I have used it for overseas trips, in and out of planes and airports, keeping baby happy and safe whilst checking in and hands free to chase after toddlers... I have… Read more

used it with toddlers on my hip while hanging out the clothes... it was easy to adjust while still carrying baby in the sling. Not too hot in summer being 100% cotton... by adjusting the sling to the tightest comfortable adjustment i found it very comfortable on my back, and the fact that you can change babies positioning so easily in the sling meant that i didn't feel the weight on any 1 part of my body for too long. Baby can be worn in the sitting up "Optimal" position and then you can lie them down to breast feed... I don't know how I would have managed without my Baba Sling raising 5 children and running my business and keeping our home in order...

I Love my Baba Sling!!! xox

Excellent – I LOVE LOVE LOVE my sling. I got this because bub was very unsettled. The baba Sling allowed me to carry my bub in a natural position, without putting pressure on her spine. Great for whne she was upset, but I still had to get things done and play with a 2 year. Bub is now almost 1, and I love carrying her on my back. It is great for quick… Read more

trips, at the airport, wonderful for the beach and a MUST HAVE. Great for newborns as it keeps them close, and in a natural position. Great colours and fabrics. Easy to clean - just throw it in the washing machine. As your bub grows that can use more positions

Bad – I had many different baby carriers and wraps, and this one was not my fave at all. It was too chunky and bub hated lying down in it especially a reflux baby. Also the design put too much pressure on my shoulder and neck, I ended up been sore. I wouldn't recommend this sling to mothers I know, I ended up selling this one for the hug-a-bub.… Read more

Definitely look at other options out there. Not sure if there was any! Besides the fact that it was easy to put on! Baby was uncomfortable, hated lying down in it.

Bad – I will use this again with another baby, however I find that it causes too much pain and discomfort to use for longer periods of time with babies that are over 6 or 7 kg's. It's quite versatile, it's easy to put on and has easily adjustable straps. THey are have a great range of colours. I like that it is 100% cotton, not too bad a price compared… Read more

to other slings. It can be a little tricky getting baby in and out of the sling, I last used the sling when our little one was around 11 months old and found that the strap, although it is padded really cut into my shoulder, and after 10 - 15 minutes I would have a really sore back, neck and shoulders. This would happen even when bubs was younger (6-8 months), but got worse as he got bigger. Our little one still only weighs 9 kg's so I imagine that this sling would be even more uncomfortable with a heavier baby.

Good – We would use this again for newborns, but once bub gets older it is easier to switch to something like the Baby Bjourn. Good for newborns. Our baby was a difficult one to get to sleep and stay asleep. She absolutely loved this sling though! Daddy found it easy to wear and whenever we went out shopping or out for a walk or to the markets etc we… Read more

would put her in the sling and she would drift off to sleep for the whole trip. She was very comfortable and at ease in this sling. I am quite short (about 155cm tall) and I found this to be a little uncomfortable. Even with adjusting the straps, I found it hurt my back and I couldn't position it so that bub and I were both comfortable. Once bub got to about 6 weeks of age (still only a few kilos) she didn't want to be in it anymore - she must have been too long or something as she didn't look so comfortable anymore

Excellent – One of our best baby buys! Our daughter is quite unsettled during the day, but when she's snuggled up close to us in the sling she sleeps soundly! For us, the Baba Sling is priceless. This sling is everything we were hoping for and more. Our daughter settles almost instantly when we place her in the sling. She sleeps while we get jobs done! … Read more

Here's what we like about the sling:

* It really is hands free

* Our daughter is safe and snug

* Quick and easy to use, saves getting the pram out if the car at the shops

* One size fits all - so both my husband and I can wear it

* Good quality at a reasonable price

* Australian made and owned

* Bought online and arried the next day! It took us about a week to get confident using it, now that we've got it adjusted correctly though it's a breeze to use.

Brilliant! – A friend recommended the baba sling to me for use when traveling. Prior to the baba sling I had used the Baby Bjorn which I found easy to use and very comfortable. Found the baba sling awkward to use at first as it didn't feel as secure as the Baby Bjorn but was able to "break it in" after a day. Both my babies enjoyed being in it and I love that… Read more

you can breastfeed on the go without anyone knowing! Very useful for when there isn't anywhere convenient to nurse. Your shoulder can get sore from extended use but you can just swap the sling over to the other shoulder. Much easier to use the baba sling than to have to get out the pram (particularly for quick trips to the shop, on public transport, in crowds, when travelling) keeps baby close to you It does take some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, you'll love it!

fantastic sling – I have used this for all of my three children. The best thing about it is that it takes seconds to put on, so perfect for all those quick trips where you dont want to pull out the pram eg the school pick ups for the older kids. I used it from newborn until the kids were about 2. I remember going on a bush walk when my daughter was 1 and I happily… Read more

carried her for hours in it. Highly recommend it! very quick and easy to put on, comfortable, heaps of different positions to try, looks great, baby very happy to sit in it for hours, perfect for those unsettled periods hard to adjust the strap and took a few tries to get it perfect

makes carrying baby very easy – Baba Sling is made of 100% cotton, even when new out of the packet it didn't have the "new cotton" feel which I was thinking it will have. The pleated deeper pouch baby fitted in easily and snuggled off to sleep quickly and easily. It came with the guide for necessary adjustments. With proper adjustments sling was much more comfortable for me to… Read more

use. Both baby and I were happy with the sling and everyone who saw him in it commented how comfortable he looked.

1.Size...

Baba Sling is adjustable means one sling can fit different bubs ( one at a time :) ). I don't have to worry about buying the right size or fitting neatly in the middle of two sizes and not knowing which one to go with.

2.Depth of Pouch...

Sling has a pleated pouch means that it is much deeper and more suitable for extended use as the babe grows

3.Comfort in Use..

the padding in the shoulder of the Baba Sling means that it provides the comfort for the wearer. The padded section also assists in stopping the sling from riding up the shoulder and rubbing against the neck. I also found that the padding in the rails on the Baba Sling was very soft.

4.Safety...

it is great to know that even if the main buckle on the Baba Sling fails there is a safety buckle also holding the sling tight enough to stay on the shoulder.

5.Functionality...

the Baba Sling is very versatile, with 7 different usage positions and the large pouch which also provides privacy for breastfeeding. Lightweight, easy to transport even in my nappy bag ,stylish, easy to use I had to take it off, make the straps bigger then again put the baby back.could not adjust with baby in it.

Excellent – It was the best ever baby buy, great specially for that time when they only want to be with mum, I would do all my house chores while baby was in the sling, at the airport I would go straight thru when others were strugling with prams, I used with 3 kids, did a lot of walking and was able to put baby behind my back without taking baby out of the… Read more

sling when needed, absolutely a life saver! It is just a matter of learning and when baby is bigger put her to seat on your hips. I still use with my heavy 2 years old with no back pain. I even use it as a blankie, just perfect Easy to fit, to change position, to breastfeed, to put baby down when asleep without waking up, machine washable

Good – Bub No.2 wanted to be in it all the time. I prefered baby bjorn, but he loves this. It feels safer than other brands because of padded sides (tuck under bub) & double buckles. I read another reviewer say you could go through air port security with bub in it - NO you cant (it has 2 buckles)! You still have to take bub out and send baba sling… Read more ·  1

through xray but, I do find it easier than a pram to the gate. Bubs loved the sling, pocket great for keys, can be used lots of different ways. Much faster to get on in the rain or for quick car stops than Baby Bjorn. Takes a while to work out what works for you and bub but fab once you do.

Good – A very nicely made sling, its a nice cotton fabric that doesnt get too hot or too cold. My 6 week old loves it, she can be difficult to settle and loves to be close to mummy. This sling allows me to have her close to me but also still have free hands to do other things, instead of being tied down to holding her all day (some days)! I like the idea… Read more

that it can be used up to 2 years of age and it comes with clear instructions. Another bonus is if your "instruction" challenged as I am, the website offers video instruction which I found very useful and much easier to understand. Overall an excellent product! Versatile sling at a better price compared to other baby carriers Hard to work out how to use at first

Good – A friend recommended this sling and it is fabulous. I purchased another brand first, but it was not adjustable and was difficult to get my baby in and out. It was great to be able to keep my baby close, as she was very clingy. It was difficult to get her to sleep, but she would nearly always sleep in the sling. As soon as I got the Baba Sling… Read more

I suddenly had more freedom because I could do things while my baby was calm or asleep in the sling. At first I was nervous positioning my baby in the sling, but soon became confident and worked out which position she liked the best. It is comfortable and adjustable. Keeps baby close to you. Machine washable. The baby can be placed in it in many different positions (my baby slept well in the hammock position) and it made my baby and me much happier. Informative website. It didn't give me a sore back, but it was tiring wearing it when I occasionally had a sore back from another reason. I was a bit nervous at first about how to position the baby, but didn't take long to get used to it.

OK – This sling is good but not my favourite. It is a bit pricey but I suppose the demand is there. I wouldn't buy it again. Easy to put on. Adjustable. The padding on the shoulder was too bulky. I am only small so I didn't find it was comfortable.

Bad – I wasn't too impressed with this sling. While it was cool for baby in summer, I found it difficult to wear comfortably. I found it even more difficult to position my baby safely and comfortably. I didn't find the instructions easy to follow, either. Light, machine washable Difficult to put on and position baby

Excellent – This sling has been a life saver for me, I can walk around with it on for around 2-3 hours. It is great when you are getting a child in and out of the car a lot Also it doesn't hurt my back as much as a front carrier. sling to be fantastic! I use it all the time, it is easy to put a child in, once you are use to it. The sling itself even has the website on it, which is helpful and shows all the different ways to wear the sling. You can breastfeed in it which is great when you are on the go, or if you are out and about. With a small newborn baby, they look a little swamped by all the material, but they are still very safe in there.

Good – A really nice and well made sling that was very useful. Allows discrete and comfortable breastfeeding in public. Great for 'hands free' hip carrying for toddlers, or lulling a new baby to sleep comfortably. Great for bonding. versatile sling that can be used in a variety of positions. I was able to use it on my newborn baby until he was 2 1/2 years old. Tricky to learn the positions at first, but perseverance pays off! Gave me a sore shoulder sometimes when my child reached 13kg. Can be a little hot for baby in summer due to the heavy fabric.
