unsafe baby bouncer – Very dangerous! this baby bouncer needs a clip to secure the back bar properly as it easily pops out. Very silly how they did the design- all it would need is a push in slide button to make it safe but instead it is just a loosely fit bar that easily pops out. The bouncer collapses with the slightest touch and could seriously injure your baby. I… Read more

would not recommend putting your new born baby in here at all and if the new baby has siblings definitely not!

Handy but unsafe – I bought the mesh bouncer from Myers from 3 months old baby. It was handy to use as first in the lounge and in the bathroom. However after only a couple of uses, the paint came off at the joints at the front. The bouncer then came undone after knocking it ever so slightly (luckily baby was not in it at the time or else her skull would be… Read more

cracked!). I have to constantly check that the parts are holding together before using it and place something underneath in case of a fall…Also, the bar underneath baby’s leg seems to put significant pressure resulting in restricting blood flow. I think it’s time for the chair to go!

Baby weighs under 6kg

Sagged and couldn't put baby in and paint flaked – disappointment. My baby is 6 weeks old, the mesh seems to stretch for only using a handful of times. It's not usable to 3 months old or 8kg. I'd put him in it ended up laying flat. The outer paint also flaked off and this is brand new. Complained via ticket process and got a one line response. Show details

Super annoying and dangerous design – I bought this bouncer for my newest baby because I absolutely loved them with my previous children BUT the new flat pack design is terrible. It falls apart with the slightest bump.  Show details

Broke with my baby in it! – I had my 7 week baby in the bouncer and the leg bits popped out it in hit the ground. I have an average sized baby and it has barely been used it was all clipped together properly. It just broke. I’m not happy. Could be very dangerous  Show details

Great in theory but not safe for babies – Love the look and design of this bouncer. Had them as kids then bought our son one 5 years ago. Sold that then bought a new one for our baby born in July this year. The new design has changed on the metal base - idea being that it can now be flat packed for travel etc. It is a terrible design and dangerous for babies. Why? We use ours when we are… Read more

making breakfast/dinner/hanging out the washing etc ... so we transport it around the house so we can have the baby close by while we do tasks. Twice we have turned around and found our baby on the floor with the bouncer collapsed around him. It is very lucky he hasn’t been hurt and each time we have had him in the bouncer on a quite wool rug. There is nothing to stop the base coming apart or to lock it in. You literally have to just push it together every time you use it. (Note this has obviously been a problem as they even say this in the product description online to cover themselves) But weight on the mesh - aka the baby! - pushes it apart. It looks great, it’s cheap but please don't buy one. Don’t be the family whose baby gets seriously hurt by this bad design. Look for a Nuna leaf or something. Am currently following this up with Babyhood (no response yet btw) and Australian safety standards.

Best simple bouncinette – We were given one of these for our first daughter 5 years ago and we used it ALOT for her, so easy to take the fabric off to give it a wash. The fabric did stretch alot as it was second hand and our first daughter was a huge baby. (She was in size 1 clothes by 6months) We searched everywhere to buy it again for our second daughter and ended up… Read more

getting a brand new one. She wasn't as keen on it as our first daughter, but I would still highly recommend it. (Our second daughter is super clingy and mobile, started crawling at 5months where our first didn't crawl until 11months) Second time around we only got 3 months use out of it, but I'm still glad we got it.

The metal frames are nice and thick. It feels sturdy unlike the ones in the target/kmart/big w etc, they feel thin and flimsy in comparison to this one.

Ok but poorly made and limited use – You get what you pay for. Pros: Once Bub sits in it she's happy and it seems to do the job. Seems safe as long as you don't move it with Bub still in it (see reason below). It wasn't expensive either. Bought mine online for $40. Cons: First impression is that it's not well made. The bouncer comes in a few parts, where the steel… Read more

tubes/bars slide into each other.

Mine had rust on each end of the bars and the tubes don't firmly 'hold in place'. It comes apart unless you hold it carefully with two hands if you have to move it. Not great when you've got Bub in one arm and you're trying to move the bouncer somewhere. We've had it for a couple of weeks and getting hang of it but it's a bit inconvenient and has made a bit of noise when it all comes apart and hits the floor. would of been better if the bars were secured in place firmly.

Lastly, our baby is on 9 weeks old and is less then average for weight and height, but her head is only an inch from the top bar. Don't think we'll get 6months out of it.

old tech is the best tech – 33yrs ago i sat in one; my son & daughter adore theirs! lightweight easy clean airflow for summer padded for winter; encourages movement & the worst baby can do when old enough is stand up with the bouncer on their butt. no saftey issues whatsoever. simple and the best wouldnt be without one :)

Perfect in its simplicity – We looked high and low to find this bouncinette because none of the plastic ones appealed. The frame is sturdy and lightweight, easy to transport. The mesh cover allows good airflow around baby which is great to prevent overheating, especially on hot summer days. The bouncinette allows plenty of movement for baby to kick, bounce and wave his… Read more

arms safely. No mechanical swinging, no terrible pre-programmed music, nothing over the top which is perfect. Our little bub is happy to sit in it and watch the world around him while he kicks and flaps and sucks on his toys. I have spoken to other mums who have found the standard swings/rockers to be restrictive when baby moves which can't be fun as babies love to move. I highly recommend this product. Simple design, inexpensive, sturdy, baby friendly.

Great Value - Baby loves it! – This was one of the best value items we have bought for our baby and he loves it. It folds up flat for when we go to mum and dad's place and our little fella loves spending time in it. We got a plush cover for ours as well. it came in a pretty nifty carry bag too - all the babyhood items we have bought have been pretty good value and great value. Good value, good quality - baby loves it.

My son loves this!! – This bouncer is a great new product, based off an old idea. Although it is a very (dare I say) 80's design compared to some of the other products on the market today, we've found that our son absolutely loves it. We turn it around so he can put his feet on the lounge and kick himself back to make it bounce. It's very handy to be able to sit… Read more

babies somewhere when they are unable to sit by themselves. Very bouncey! Lightweight and easy to move around. Secure straps. A bit low-tech considering what else is out there, but does the job
