today, I tried to assemble the Love n Care Baby Bordeaux Cot, and guess what—the same thing happened again.

It’s really painful and concerning. They don’t seem to care about what we have to go through when we discover missing screws and parts halfway through assembling.

Pathetic experience so far, Better to go to Baby Bunting or some others, not this, because it's a trap.

weeks knowing they are already leaving bubs without a cot for a couple weeks while i wait for a refund and stockist in my area, granted the damaged cot from love n care - bordeaux was not there fault but the way they handled it was hard. It's not a handbag it's a necessity and people buy cots before babies are born and if they are damaged then your left without an essential item for baby. Refund is taking 4 days and since I've now moved I can't find anyone to deliver to me so baby has to sleep with me. On the up note actually placing an order was very easy and they were helpful with that.

Decent range and quality products – I saw a few negative reviews below about price matching and refunds, but cant really speak on those as i haven't experienced it. I have found the staff friendly and helpful. I also found the range of products to be good, and the quality of the products i purchased to be high. Show details

Even 1 star is too much. No refund? – Please don't go there. They have return and refund policy but it is 'no return and refund'. We bought a stroller and after that we found a faulty. We took it and asked them a return, but they said they need to send it to the head office first. us. We had to chased them every time. And after we chased them they said 'we fixed it , take it, no refund, no return'. They took our right to choose a return without asking. The attitude is so bad, slow following, very unorganized. They have never apologized, ignored all my email communication. And they still insist nothing was wrong, they refused a refund. So I am preparing to report them to ACCC and Ombudsman. That's their limit.

Return policy – The refund and return policy is ridiculous in this shop; you either get an exchange or a store credit for your purchased item. I wouldn't have purchased from this shop, if I was aware of their policy in the first place.

Would not price match – Store would not honour their "Price Match Guarantee". In the end, it was a matter of $50 and store manager made us walk. Wasted trip.

Never Going Again – Like everyone else has said.. store manager is very unhelpful. Didn't offer me a credit note/exchange like other baby stores do. Will never shop here again!

Great service – Can't believe all the negative reviews! I found the service was by far the best I recieved so far! I am newly pregnant and went into babyland looking for prams/capsual and a cot. The lady who helped me was fantastic- she showed me their great range of prams and the positive and negatives of each one and got me to put each one up and down! Overall I was extremely happy with the service.

Stay away from this shop – Very rude store manager not willing to be helpful or show any understanding of any sort, no level of customer service ,the attitude she showed was appalling considering how much money we had spent ,never again ,do not shop here you don't need the upset ,save yourself and go elsewhere

pleasure to deal with. I took my sister in law there to select a pram and car seat when she was expecting and the staff were brilliant helping her make a decision. Great price (only if you get them to price match), great service

Staff come to work sick at a baby store! – I'm upset that the staff member who served me and my baby today was full of cold and still came to work at a baby shop! So much for trying not to spread germs to babies and pregnant woman. They aren't a very friendly store and I agree with all comments. Will not return. Poor infection control, unfriendly

nursery or purchase a pram just don't risk it - go somewhere else.... otherwise you will end up like the rest of us unhappy out of pocket customers putting reviews on this website. They do have a reasonable range of stock Staff - they just have no idea.

No refund but offer credit – Babyland Ossie Park...Staff were helpful....but just make sure you buy and choose correctly. I have bought many products from them. The only problem i've had was that they will not offer refund , but will do credit purchase. After arriving home with the item my wife informed me that it was not needed and that we've already got one.

the WA consumer law being displayed on the wall which contradicted this statement. I returned to the store to explain the situation and was confronted by a rude, uncooperative store manager who seemed to have a general disdain for both me and my rights as a consumer. I have three children under 2 and to be quite frank have better things to do with my time. I will be pursuing the matter through the department of consumer protection but thought I should warn others in advance do not shop at this store.

Terrible service – Babyland Osborne Park .., conclusion after having the misfortune of visiting and buying stuff from this store ... stay away. Very bad attitude towards customers (especially the store manager - she is just arrogant, rude and totally unhelpful .. likes to say a lot of "No we cannot help". What a bad experience. No refund or exchange – would not provide refund or exchange on defective product. requried us to take product in several times for repair before considering a refund or exchange, then refused to provide a refund or exchange when product was still not fixed. Said that Babyland had no responsilibility for selling defective product. I could go on. Bad / non-existent warrranty service, unhelpful

Launceston's primary baby shop makes trip to Hobart/Devonport worthwhile – We have two little children (haven't stopped there), and as new-ish parents, rely on the range, quality and above all, the service and knowledge that comes from a well managed baby shop. back to this same store in the hope something will be different. It never is.

To their credit, their range of brands and stock levels are good, but I would be hard pressed to recall ruder and less enthusiastic staff anywhere I've been. They know little about what they sell (this has been tested and a number of visits) and they are also reluctant to serve or take money. They just can't be bothered.

New parents will spend thousands getting ready for the new arrival, and when they have a good relationship, will continue to go back time and time again to spend more. It needs to be a magic experience for little families, but in this case it falls well short. We have tried, but failed to purchase anything from this store. This is a shame, because even though there are other baby shops in Launceston, they specialise primarily in boutique offerings. Babyland is the 'bread and butter' store in town, but the poor level of service, the constantly frowning staff members and the lack of product knowledge means we travel primarily to Stork Talk in Devonport to make our key purchases.

I believe they have a sister store in Hobart- I can't offer an opinion on their performance at this stage. But it's a shame Babyland Launceston does not offer a better experience Satisfactory range of products Poor knowledge, profound lack of service or enthiusiasm...

Excellent – As a mum to be all baby shops seem to blend into one, the Babyland store and their staff were most helpful. I will shop there again Excellent Range, Friendly staff Couldnt fault anything

OK – Agree with previous reviewer, staff can be quite rude but I do find myself going back as they do have a good range and are well stocked. I received some good help with prams.. but have been ignored most other times. They have a great range and carry some things other stores don't. More expensive than other places for exactly the same things, staff are unwilling to help

Bad – If the staff were not so rude this would be the best store in perth, have a wonderful range. Only problem is that prices are a bit more here, which you wouldnt mind paying if the staff were nice good range, well layed out store staff not friendly and can be a bit rude

Terrible – Go somewhere else! not worth your time and money. spend your money from another store that also offers customer service big range of products (so do some other stores) RUDE staff and manager. no refunds given even if its THEIR fault and u're expected to take item back at your expense, even if item is too heavy for a pregnant woman with no one to help!!! Staffs and manager have not much product knowledge.

Terrible – I'll be buying all of my baby items elsewhere and I recommend you do the same, I refuse to give my money over to this store. Good range of products, nice store. Horrible staff at Osborne Park WA- they are rude, unhelpful and god forbid if you ever have a problem with a product you have purchased from them - they "don't do refunds!"

Terrible – They are so many other beautiful shops in the metro area and some really nice sales people willing to help and give some discount if asked. I won't be shopping here. great range of gear and good products Staff not very friendly, I asked for a discount and would only discount if I made 3 large item purchases and paid in full on the spot. A real effort.
