Its cheap with small battery capacity but does the job – -This grinder is only used for camping or grinding coffee at work for pour over. -Battery is rubbish as others stated, it is only 1200mah, but I have used this 4 times a week for 2 years. -Grind adjustment I added loctite years ago, no issue there. -It grinds slow however, I started the grinder while I prepare the filter etc. I grind all home… Read more
coffee on a EK43 for espresso or filter type beverges, if you expect to use this as a replacment bench coffee grinder, you have to be kidding yourself...
The battery is the only real issue.
Disappointed – I agree with previous revues, this grinder is a waste of money, grinder works less than a minute at a time, always restarting it... Very dissatisfied... Probably could of got a better one at KMart.. Show details
Regrettable Purchase. Don't waste your time or money! – Completely the same experinces as Bruce's review. The item would be good value for money if it continued to work as it did on day one. It's slow. The grind mechanism slowly unwinds as it grinds, therefore the grind gets coarser. Tried double grinding, feel like I have aged a year waiting for this and continually pressing the start button. After a… Read more
couple of months, battery charge light comes on after two minutes of grinding. It will continue to grind if you like really course grind and I mean really course, like gravel.
It's a shame. It's so compact. I didn't want another device on my bench or stored in the cupbaord. Regret this purchase. More landfill.
Regrettable Purchase – What a waste of money. It doesn't grind beans properly... when it actually gets around to doing it and sometimes it just decides not to bother and lets all the beans fall through. Never ever buy. Show details
Don't waste your time or money! – Three main problems. 1. Slow as a wet week. Takes over 3 minutes to grind 2 scoops of coffee beans on a medium grind. I can hand grind faster. 2. The grind mechanism slowly unwinds as it grinds, so the grind gets coarser as it goes. If you forget to tighten it up before the next grind you end up with basically broken chunks of coffee beans, not… Read more
grinds, and have to pour the bits back into the grinder, retighten the setting, and go again. And good luck with that, because... 3. The battery/charging system is garbage. Initially I got 2 or 3 grinds from a charge (except that it always 'finished' with a bean or 2 still in the grinder and had to be started again to finish them off) but it got worse and worse over time. Now it takes over 5 minutes to do the one grind, stopping several times with the battery light on, and needing to be started again to do a bit more, stop, start, repeat 3-5 times to finish the grind. Bonus problem: The battery thing might be less of an issue if, like virtually every other rechargeable device available, it continued to work while it is plugged in and charging. But no, as soon as the charger cable is connected, it stops working. Takes longer than it should to charge too, especially for what you get from a full charge, which these days, is next to nothing. I wouldn't even take a free replacement.
Don't buy it at all - i would rate it no stars if i could – I bought one of these thinking it was a good name so must be a decent product. But this thing is rubbish - its a cordless coffee been grinder that can barely grind enough beans for one cup and if you do get a cup ground it needs to be charged for roughly two hours before it can do another. The number of times I have gone to make a morning coffee… Read more
only to find it had no charge is rediculous. I bought a jar of instant to sit beside it for every other day it was a useless piece of junk. If youre looking for a product design that delivers nothing of what it promises - its perfect!
