I bought this recently. I have never owned a burr coffee grinder before. My only comparison is with a spice/coffee grinder with the whirling blade. The new grinder is greatly superior. It grinds the coffee the way I want it, it's fairly quiet and it's easy to use. I like I can measure out how much coffee I want it to grind and it seems well made. Show details

Grinds well but – For the price it grinds coffee beans fairly well with plenty of grind size options but it is let down by the abount if static it develops causing grinds to be spread over the bench & over the machine itself.

There's an awful lot of coffee grinders in Brazil – It seems to me that for every coffee bean in existence there is a grinder to match. Search online for 'burr coffee grinder' and be prepared to disappear down a rabbit hole for a few hours. Why did I decide to buy this grinder? I have no memory, save for the fact that it had some of the best reviews on Amazon. It does exactly what is says on the… Read more

tin: it grinds coffee to my specifications even if I have no idea how many beans there are in one cup, let alone ten. Easy to use and attractive enough to display in the kitchen, I'd recommend this to anyone who are at their wits end deciding which grinder to buy and desperately trying not to count beans in their sleep.

Deflated – First use coffee was ground, but I was disappointed. The husks from the coffee beans separated and stuck to just about everything by static - the shute, the lid of the coffee catcher, the unit itself and my bench top. Was a big deal I had to clean up (see pic). Bought this grinder to replace my older than old, but still functioning non-adjustable… Read more

blade grinder so I could be more accurate with the grind size to suit changing needs.

I was using a new brand of beans, so tested these in my old grinder to see what would happen. Second pic shows no husks flying around. So I can only assume the grinder is the issue. I'm not happy about having to clean this up every time I want ground coffee.

Excellent and quick grinder – I have only used this machine for a month, but find it much easier to clean than my previous much more expensive machine that developed issues. It is also more accurate as far as grind selection and the result is concerned, and quick, although there is is an automatic shutdown for 40 minutes if you have run 5 cycles in succession. This I… Read more

think is sensible. THe build is plastic but appears that it will stand up for the usage I put it through ( It is not recommended, nor would I use it for commercial purposes). I also make sure I clean it well after using. The size is compact.
