defects, unfinished work, and damage to our home. After the sales period, communication was almost non‑existent, and I had to repeatedly identify errors myself to prevent them becoming bigger issues. Despite clear and documented instructions, several key elements were installed incorrectly or ignored entirely, including items that were explicitly shown in the signed plans and discussed in detail. Some of the problems included damaged items being installed, chipped tiles, messy grout and silicone work and damage to our internal walls, front door and furniture in other parts of our home. Many of these issues were raised during the build, in writing, and accompanied by photos, yet they were ignored, dismissed, or disputed later. At various points, different team members blamed each other, but no one actually took responsibility for the mistakes or damage. The lack of accountability has been one of the most frustrating parts of the entire experience. The handover itself was baffling. A bathroom with this many visible defects should never have been considered complete. Neither the business owner nor the project manager inspected the final product before calling it finished. Even after raising these concerns formally, I felt my emails weren’t being properly read or acknowledged. For the amount of money we’ve spent, the care, professionalism, and communication that should be standard simply wasn't there. It's been over 6 months since Banana Bathrooms 'finished' their work on our bathroom and I'm still organising tradespeople to come and fix problems that should have never existed. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through the stress and disappointment we did.

This company didn’t match its advertised claims. We had to request many mistakes to be fixed, including a shower floor that did not drain, hot water connected to cold tap, basins falling through vanity bench, chipped shower screen, top of niche left open to cavity. In all, for us a disappointing, draw out and stressful renovation for a premium price.
