Amazing job, my shower looks like new
I recently purchased a new home and my building inspector referred me to Megasealed. They did a great job retiling my shower and thankfully no more leaks. They also arranged for a new shower screen to go in at the end to finish it off nicely.
Phil from Newcastle completed our bathroom today. We are exceptionally pleased with the work, Phil worked cleanly and has given us a new bathroom. THANKS to Peter and Phil we would certainly recommend Megasealed.

Very happy! Excellent job
Had my leaking shower fixed by megasealed recently and i am very happy with the service. Good price too. My shower looks brand new again and no tiles had to be removed. Highly recommended
Best service I've had for anything in a long time!
Thanks to the whole team at Megasealed for the Southern Sydney area.
Graeme, Sandy, Justin, Greg and others.
They did a job for me to repair a leaking ensuite shower recess in 2014. Last year it started leaking again. From the first call they have been very courteous and responsive. While they had to come back a few times to finally solve the further leaking their last offer to take off the shower screen frame and door, seal under and then reset the frame and door the leaking finally appears to have stopped.

Choosing Megasealed for a Bathroom renovation was a BIG Mistake
I chose Megasealed for my complete Bathroom reno because I was happy with their initial customer service and the cost was reasonably within my budget. Little did I know that everything would change once I signed the dotted line. The cost increased drastically because everything else (like getting a niche in the wall,) or tiles to the ceiling or fixing a wall hung vanity was all going to be charged extra. They quoted me 5K extra for getting tiles all the way to the ceiling. I accepted and agreed to all the costs and was happy till the tiles were...installed but then started the comedy of errors. The reno that was due to be completed in 2 weeks is still going on well into the 8th week. They refused to install a mixer tap of my choice initially as they would not change any plumbing and after 3 trips to the plumbing centre and getting 3 different sets of taps ad all the drama they agreed to knock the tiles again and installed the matching taps . This further caused damage to my other wall in the house. Then the new tile they installed is jutting out and is chipped on the side and I could just go on with how bad my experience has been . I really hope that someone at the main head office is listening. I am happy to give further details on why this has been a terrible mistake and whyI would never ever recommend Megasealed unless you want a really stressful experience .
Did not fix leakage problem
I have a leakage in my bathroom and called Megasealed. She told me she was able to fix it - but the Issue was not fixed. They proudly offer all this warranty - but they cannot fix the issue despite returning.
Excellent job done
I had Phil do both our showers and some work to our bath.I am so happy with how clean it looks and unreal his work is.Peter was so lovely and worked with me as i changed my mind and had to rebook my work to be done.Highly recommend and would def get them to come back for some other job's.
Megasealed is a company with questionable practice and very unhelpful to say the least.
A franchisee of megasealed came to my house with a box cutter, and put it through all over the grout joint on the shower floor, as well as through the junctions of the shower floor and the shower walls. He also slashed one of the tiles in perfect condition. A complaint was lodged with megasealed headoffice. However, the lady who responded to my complaint was not much helpful and refused to mediate. She has told me that is their usual practice to put knife through the joints and grout of shower floors and walls when making inspections of suspected leaking shower. Here is a company with very questionable practices and attitutes to say the least.
Rude woman over the phone and terrible customer service
The administration at Megasealed were so rude and patronising over the phone. I have never been spoken down to so badly in my life! I cannot stress enough how much I would NOT recommend this business! I would look a little further on who you are hiring to represent your business. Never heard such unprofessionalism.
Would never recommend using them
Had bathroom apparently old grout cut an new grout put in which all they did was grind out grout alittle bit an grout straight back over which is continually coming away. Used grout as silicon where the shower meets the tiles. Grinded two tiles in the process an damaged then. Then proceeded to wash out grout in a brand new vanity sink leaving it all rough.
Mind you have had them out twice an still looks worse then before it was even done
Not the best product
I first had megasealed out to fix my leaking ensuite shower in 2012. A year or so later the shower still had a slow leak and they came back and redid the seal. The third re-seal came in 2018 when I paid extra to "upgrade" to the "Gold" product because the rep said my problems were due to movement and the gold product is more flexible etc. Fast forward to 2019 and the "Gold" product is still not sticking to my tiles and causing slow leaks into my wall cavities. There is no cracks in the product itself - it just doesn't stick to my tiles. Do...not want to hear that it is movement again as I have been told by independent sources that this is not so. I have posted on the local franchise facebook page - no response. Called customer service twice - no response. I just want a shower that doesn't leak - apparently that is too much to ask for MegaSealed.
Job well done
I've recently hired Megasealed to do my balcony and bathroom renovations. They were punctual, professional, not expensive and delivered a high quality work. They've done tiling, waterproofing, fixed leaking shower in the bathroom and leaking sink in the kitchen.
I would recommend them any time. Excellent service
Great job Derrick
Got Derrick from Megasealed in today to carry out some remedial sealing work for my balcony.
Thanks for his punctuality and high level of details in his checking in order to eradicate the water ingress.
Thanks to Derrick for accepting further responsibility should the water ingress persists!
Avoid- Not aprofessional , Do not trust
I contacted for a water leak to downstairs kitchen from Upstairs bathroom . We could not find the leak anywhere. As soon as they came they said water was leaking from grouts. So appointed to remove old grout and re grouting job for over $2000.00. After spending still water was terribly leaking . When we checked found out water was leaking from Hot water shower due to a missing washer. So went to Bunnings and fixed ourselves the leak with a new washer .We informed this to Megasealed but was no response. Instead chased the invoice. They should...have a check list to check if there is a plumbing issue before rerouting and application of so called sealant. We should have avoided them at the first place reading these reviews. They just promote to re grout and application without asking customers to do basic plumbing issues, first .This so called application can easily buy from Bunnings and apply by yourself . Not professional AVOID. Do not waste money on them .
The worst experience I've ever had with a trade services based business.
I contacted Megasealed to fix my leaking shower. During the quote I explained where the leaks were coming from and physically showed them exactly where the source of the problem was. The company rep seemed to know what he was talking about and assured me that not only could Meagasealed fix all of the leaks but they would guarantee their product would last 25 years before needing replacing.
The quote mentioned what work they would do but as I am not a waterproofing or shower sealing expert, and I had explained that the only thing I needed was ...
Recommendation…..yes I would go with Andrew again, without hesitation.
During an inspection of our two units, we discovered we had a leaking shower issue in one of the units and as the units were built at the same time, no doubt it was on the cards that the shower in the 2nd unit was heading for the same issue…..As we live in the remote north of the state, I found Megasealed on the net and made contact with Andrew, the South Australian owner and manager of Megasealed…….Andrew supplied a sensible quote ( which was accepted ) to strip out, reline, repair / replace rotted studs and bottom plates where requ...
Unprofessional work, with a poor quality product.
I had MegaSeal regrout 2 showers at my previous residence about 12 years ago, it was a neat finish, smooth grout lines & waterproof - great! Unfortunately, I recently had MegaSeal regrout 2 showers in another, recently purchased, residence & the finished result was a disaster! Very messy, uneven grout lines, with holes appearing in the grout the more the grout dried & set. Certainly not a waterproof finish! (It's as if the grout shrunk as it dried.) The MegaSeal franchisee who did this work, returned to view it & fix it. However, he advised...he didn't know why it had happened, & didn't know if it would happen again! Obviously I didn't want a repeat outcome, so said I wasn't happy & didn't want to proceed with the re-work. The franchisee was very unprofessional, complaining that I'd wasted his time, & he was now out-of-pocket for the work he'd done. So much for "keeping the customer happy"!! I'm now left with 2 unusable showers, & I need to find a decent tradesman who's willing to remove this epoxy grout & re-grout my showers. The 2 new glass shower screens, which have been ready for installation for a couple of weeks, can then finally be installed. I sent an email to MegaSeal's National office advising them of this situation, but I never received a response from them. Thanks to MegaSeal's very poor product, & very unprofessional service by their franchisee, I will NEVER use, or recommend, MegaSeal again. JM, Sunshine Coast
Regrout ensuite Shower
We would just like to thank you for such a great job done in re-grouting our bathroom. Scott was a fantastic fellow, on time, excellent, neat, and took real pride in his workmanship --which was strikingly impressive! We are beyond happy with the finished job. One very contented customer. We would gladly recommend your esteemed company to any of our friends. We wish you and your business well. . Barat & Mooi Babajee. Murdoch 6150.
Dodgy company (poor workmanship and faulty product)
We had Megasealed done for our four showers with MG11 in 2015 (for the new house). One of the floors of the showers were leaking (cracked grout) and Tony (consultant) had come to inspect the leak. He indicated that this would be covered by the warranty and that he would give me a call in a fews day. I later got that call that I would need to pay for them to come over and fix the leak with the new MG14. They said it wasnt caused by their products and was by my shower head and/or by the basin taps leaking through the wall and damaging the shower ...floor membrane. They continued to argue that it was caused by either the taps, vanity or shower head, despite me explaining that Tony indicated that there aren’t any leaks around the wall but only the shower floor around the cracked grout. This is what they had written in their contract from 2015; Extended Megasealed service reseal perimeter and corner uprights with Megasealed. Degrout floor joints and regrout with epoxy grout. Inject repair membrane, clean seal and repair wall grout, reseal shower screen both sides, tap spindles, waste and soap holder. The description also stated that is was a double Megasealed prerimeter + MG11 floor joints. Disappointed that the 25 year product warranty for Megasealed and Megagrout MG 11 suddenly no longer applies.
Just had Martin firm megasealed repair our bathroom. He was a fantastic fellow and took real pride in his workmanship and explained to me what he had done after completing the job. As an employer all one wants is somebody who has care factor and Martin has it in spades.
