Greasy as – I have used Dry Balance ever since they released the product a few years ago. It was great, just as it said: non greasy, sand didnt stick to my skin, and it felt just like a good moisturiser. I need to wear sunscreen every day so it was perfect for me. However a year or so ago, they changed the packaging, and introduced a 400g pump pack, and then eventually changed the smaller squeeze bottle. I found the new stuff to be greasy, oilier, thinner, and if I use it on my face, I get acne (ditto my hubby), and sand/soil stuck to my skin.

Having several of the old bottles left, I compared ingredients, and they are different. The old ones were made in Canada, the new in Australia. How Banana Boat thinks they can get away with claiming the new stuff to be non-greasy is beyond me, the new formula is just awful. Will have to start looking for a new suncreen soon, I only have 3 bottles of the old left!

Did the formula change? – I've been using the Banana Boat Dry Balance sunscreen in the 175g size for a few years now and it was brilliant. It promised a matte finish and that's what you got. No stickiness, no shine, the best I'd used. However, the packaging sizes seem to have changed recently and I think the formula may have too. I recently purchased the 200g size and it's horrible. Really sticky and shiny finish, so much so that it's unusable. So disappointing! It's no different than the rest of the gloop available.
