The pies and sausage rolls are tiny. You would need to buy 3 sausage rolls to match a regular size roll and that would cost over $11. Not a suitable bakery for a hungry man.

I just popped into Banjo’s for lunch. I asked for a toasted ham & cheese sandwich & the girl who was serving me, was interrupted by her male colleague, who rudely stated that we don’t do toasties after 11am. He was extremely rude to his young female colleague & completely ignored me. She went to ask him a follow up question & before she had… Read more

finished, he again said (quite aggressively), that we don’t do toasties after 11am. My rating is for the male alone & I will certainly not go to Banjo’s again, if he is there. Shocking service & no care for staff or customers.

What’s happened to Banjo’s bakery Cleveland . Prices have sky rocketed and the product quality and variety of products have sadly diminished. Loaf of multi grain bread now costs $7.30. It’s now nothing but an overpriced donut shop. I have been a customer there the past 6 years , but now I would not walk into shop again. Found a bakery just one kilometer away, miles cheaper with top quality products . Such a shame.  Show details

Okay, I could understand the necessary dine in changes during Covid but PLEASE get back to good customer service. I did ask the lady who served me when plates would make a comeback and she apologised and said she didn’t know and that many customers complained but they (the staff) couldn’t do anything about it. Trying to eat a cauliflower and… Read more

cheese pie served in a paper bag that you have to tear open then poke around with a knife and fork, the cheese sauce running onto the table top is not an enjoyable experience. The pie crust on the last occasion I attempted one (yesterday) was soggy and there must have been rationing of cauliflower which probably accounted for the sogginess. Who knows. You’ve lost me Banjos.

Sausage Rolls have shrunk !. I really enjoy the Savoury Sausage Rolls that Banjos make. Have not had one in a few months, so yesterday at Banjos Bakery, Sunshine Plaza I ordered one. I sat down at a table and opened the bag. How disappointing - the Sausage Roll was smaller than the last time I had one, and just two bites, and it was finished. … Read more

The taste was good though. For $3.80, I do not think this represents good value for money. Wish I had taken a photo to show others how small this pastry was, yet I didn't have my phone.

Used to be my favourite bakery, but now it’s just basically a donut shop! Where is the variety you used to have - no slices or tarts, no muffins anymore, just donuts and a couple of pastries! My go to bakery has now been changed sadly, unless you return to an actual bakery, not a donut shop.

Oh Banjo's Glenorchy you no longer sell muffins. What a shame, I often drop in to grab a fresh muffin and get fresh bread and/or bread rolls while Im there. I cannot believe muffins are no longer available. Guess you lost one long term customer as muffins was my primary reason for dropping in. Show details

Have been catering for groups of around 15 in Townsville monthly for the last 12+ years. Have been using Subway. Thought I'd try Banjo's - got the Hot Pastry Platter yesterday - looked exactly like the picture, ready for collection as per my order. Very popular. Got the Classic Sandwich Platter today. Exactly like the photos, fresh, really good. Can't recommend them enough. Only downside you need to order the day before. Show details

Purchased a Scallop pie at Huonville, excellent, large, moist Scallops and perfectly set sauce. About 5 days later, bought two more from the Hobart store, Scallops were small, hard and the sauce thick and stodgy, so at the price, about $12 each, we were very disappointed. Sent an email to Banjos 7 days ago but sadly no reply. Show details

Today being Sunday we thought we would meet with friends and try out Banjos new franchise in Warragul . To say we were impressed is not what we thought the place was a disgrace the tables were filthy the floor was in need of cleaning and the four of us came away with not coming back. What we didn't understand is front of house is your show case and… Read more

is what makes you stand out. ,Why there wasn't a staff member cleaning tables and the floor yes granted the day was busy but come on it looked like a mess you might want to have a chat to the manager.

Food is yummy but I ordered a iced coffee and was not expecting what I got which was iced coffee with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and chocolate powder and when your in the mood for a nice strong coffee it didn’t help much. Also towards the end I was just sipping straight chocolate syrup. So next time I’ll order a iced latte instead!

Devil is in the detail ! Pro's: Good quality chicken breast meat that was clean and white. Good quality vegetables with vibrant colours. Free sauce !!!!! Cons:Pastry was thick and doughie. Not enough meat. I had to spend the rest of my day wearing sauce stained jeans. If only they supplied a plate and cutlery....

Best Bakery – I adore Banjo's Bakery and sometimes travel over an hour to purchase one of their pies. Wish there were Stores in the suburbs.

Spoilt experience – Have been a Banjos fan and customer since they first opened in Tasmania. What I am not a fan of us attempting to eat a gloriously messy, delicious potato pie in cafe with a knife and fork off a soggy paper bag in cafe! Understand no china crockery but surely there could be paper plates to eat from instore. Spoils the whole experience!

Not nice at all – Had a beef and mushroom pie, mango ice drink and a jam donut. Carnt say I enjoyed any off it and the staff weren't that friendly. The pie looked like what I gave my dogs for brekky, drink was mango cordial with ice in it and not stired Not sure what the hype was all about. Wont be back.

Not impressed with first visit – First visit to the Richands store. Staff weren't very welcoming. One of the items I ordered, a caramel donut, looked fantastic in the display case but the one I was given wasn't, as it looks like most of the topping fell off before it was put in the box. Show details

Terrible customer service – There were three staff behind the counter, two were arranging bread and the third was leaning on the counter right in front of me talking to her friend and playing with her phone. All three completely ignored me until I walked away. I sent an email to Banjo's and guess what? They ignored it. Seems ignoring customers is company policy. That's the last time I'll shop at Banjo's.
