Australian consumer law ?? – The water flask failed after approximately three months of normal use. The retailer would not give me a refund. When I mention that the property has failed and can be used and quoted Australian consumer law to him in regards to replacement for a faulty product The basically said that the Unit will need to be sent away for Repair? I said I lost faith in the product and would like a refund, please. He said no and that I would no longer be able to shop at his store.
Totally incorrect, the owner of the store was a gentleman I spoke to, and basically was not willing to help in anyway after I requested a refund For the faulty product. No issue in May not going back to that store as the guy is a total rip off. I please urge all people in that area not to shop at that shop. The owner and the staff are corrupt.

After investigating, we found that our staff had made it clear that since the lid was the only item damaged, we needed to contact our supplier in order to receive a full refund.
The item was used for 6 months (Purchase date 11th August 2024 and returned on 5th Jan 2025).
After reviewing the CCTV footage, we discovered that you weren't even accepting a replacement item. You were demanding a refund right away, threatening to contact your lawyer, and taking legal action.
After speaking with our supplier, we were able to have your refund request accepted, and the money was paid to your bank account.
We would prefer that you not visit our store in the future, as we need to ensure the ongoing protection and wellbeing of our employees and anyone within the care of the business.
