Ordering was simple and straightforward, and delivery was impressively quick, especially considering the item was listed as being on backorder. That level of efficiency really stood out and set the tone for the whole experience.

Where things fell apart slightly was with the plumber they arranged for installation. Plumbing Bros Sunshine Coast initially came across brilliantly, with Andrew going out of his way to shuffle his schedule and fit us in before the Easter period, which we genuinely appreciated.

Unfortunately, that goodwill didn’t last long. Upon arrival, he took issue with there being no pre-drilled hole in the sink which, frankly, is a strange expectation given most sinks don’t come with a spare hole ready to go “just in case” you might want to add another tap down the track. He advised he would need to drill one and charge extra.

We advised that this was clearly included in the package (with only stone benchtops attracting an additional fee). Unfortunately, his response was dismissive and unprofessional, even going as far as waving the drill around while reluctantly agreeing not to charge. From that point on, his attitude noticeably shifted and made what should have been a straightforward install feel unnecessarily tense and uncomfortable.

While this reflects poorly on the installer, it’s not entirely separate from Soda Tap’s overall service, as they are the ones who engaged and recommended the contractor. There does need to be some accountability there, whether that’s in better vetting, clearer communication, or ensuring installers fully understand what is included in the packages they’re representing.

That said, Soda Tap Australia themselves were excellent throughout, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. If there were a 4.5-star option, that’s probably where this lands, but 4 stars doesn’t feel fair given how strong everything else was.

as to why they were serving someone coming from the exit end when I was standing ready to be served - when the person behind then went ahead of me as well I queried this and was to made to feel that I was the one with the problem by both the customer and the service attendant. Security person could only point at bags he wanted open. Left wishing I had not spent any money in there at the end.

I love my coasters, I bought six and my house is quite old fashioned but adding pieces like the beautiful Terrazzo in inferno with two having my husband and my initials on them look fantastic and brings our kitchen into the 21st century.

straight back to grab some more pans for my collection.

Sadly this new set (in the Cream) colour are incredibly different in quality. While my Truffle Grey colour looks as new desperate year long use, my Cream pan is ready for the bin after 2-3 months. Used on the same cooktop; with the same utensils; seasoning and cleaning the exact same way.

With literal sweat and tears I’ve managed to salvage probably 80% of the interior but the exterior is completely destroyed, colour damaged and stained.

I have provided the pictures and videos they requested. I have shown the comparison between the colours, showing that it is obviously a quality control issue. I’ve followed the instructions they provided as a fix for the staining - nothing works.

They are refusing replacement as ‘the 12 month warranty’ only covers the inside of the pan and despite acknowledging the discolouration, won’t do anything about it. I am removing my previous recommendations to friends and family and public social media pages, as I don’t feel the price (even heavily reduced as they are now) is worth it. A simple pan replacement would have given me good faith in the company, but they are refusing even this.

Please consider looking elsewhere.

From the moment I placed my order, communication was practically nonexistent. Days passed without updates, and every attempt to reach their customer service felt like shouting into a void. Their responses—when they finally came—were slow, vague, and frankly lazy. It’s as if they’ve perfected the art of ignoring customers.

Contrast this with Amazon: if I had ordered the same item there, it would have been on my doorstep the very next day. Amazon understands efficiency, communication, and customer satisfaction. Instant Brands? They seem allergic to all three.

It makes absolutely no sense to order from Instant Brands directly when their suppliers are faster, more reliable, and actually care about keeping customers informed. If you value your time and sanity, skip Instant Brands and buy through a retailer that knows what service means.
