Bas Phillips Airflex Latex Pillow

Bad choice – Bad choice! Bought on basis claiming to be soft, comfortable & durable. Turns out to be neither. It's too firm and didn't contour to head and neck. Couldn't get even 5 mins of sleep (had to revert to old 20-year pillow in despair) and, unfortunately, it can't be returned. Seems like old pillow will stay in commission for a while longer. Choose your pillows wisely, and preferably with an manufacturer/outlet that has some sort of return for these situations.

Regret I Didn't Invest in a Medium Dunlopillo Latex Pillow – An Aldi latex contour pillow (lasted only 3 years before cool gel infused latex exhibited discolouration and signs of deterioration) it needed replacement and off we went to Harris Scarfe to research a replacement - I already had a Dunlopillo medium profile latex pillow and slept on it quite well. But my partner's side was to receive a new pillow. Sadly purchase of a medium profile Bas Phillips latex pillow (on sale) turned out to be a disaster - instructions on the box state "air before use" (which we did) but it still exudes an odour and was and still is too firm for comfort - it's described as soft however the sensation is like sleeping on a rolled up towel. Cannot return it for obvious reasons - once you've slept on it - it's yours. What recourse do we have with Bas Phillips? Intuition guided to invest in the more expensive option Dunlopillo $79 compared to Bas Phillips $39. Sadly the budget is so tight it's like a 'Victorian corset'. Does Bas Phillips stand by their product and address the issue or do as Telstra does, they don't release a product they simply cut it adrift.
Relief at last! – For many months I have lost sleep due to a spinal problem in my neck. I purchased this pillow in a contour form and have slept well since. It was a game changer for me. Thank you Mr Phillips! Chris Robinson
