No software updates – It's pretty crappy that Tempo do not have any more software updates on this TV. Any current glitches (like tv turning off when switching to certain channels) cannot be fixed. Grrrr Show details
Ultra reliable still going strong – Bought this in August 2015.it has been great. Has 4k tech and ultra hd plus ARC audio. It's included apps are now out of date but I use a 4k fire stick for streaming. Picture is sharp. For a 65inch that was half the price of the nearest brand it has been incredible. I have recently bought a bauhan 70inch Tizen tv for our media room. They are great value. Show details
GREAT BUDGET TV – Got it second hand/friend upgrading, I find it to be a great tv, great colour. Its slow to start ,( i guess thats a "SMART " TV)Have a TCL, but this seems to have better colour reproduction. We don't run Netflix, internet, no complaints, just one complaint it doesn't have a program guide, so you can't see what's next. Show details · 2

Best result in the price range – The tv i bought, awesome. Just awesome considering its price and its features. I couldn't have gotten any better than this. Best bang for the buck. Pictures quality is awesome too Show details
Best Value for Money 4K TV – Picture Quality is great for the price you pay, you will notice light bleeding on edges in dark scenes! Mine was bought 2 years ago now and still runs fine, though there are reports that they die randomly. Great amount of hdmi ports, no smart tv functionality but I have devices connected to it that give it that functionality! Good Buy! Show details
This is good – Bauhn (Aldi) 4K Ultra HD tv is quite good for us to watch. It's colour is colourful and vivid. It's sound is euphonic. The remote controller is useful. I watch it every day for more than 5 hours. Show details

Worked well for Aldi – It was pretty good for an aldi television and never had any problems with its quality or working. It lasted for years and was given away when moving to a new house
Day of warranty tv looses station – Day of warranty our TV looses station rung up warranty customer service and they will not give me new one they want a repair man to come out and fix it if it can be . Do not waste your money Show details
No parts available when it blows up. Steer clear. NEVER AGAIN – Power board blew up. No parts available. 2+ years old Disappointed My 5th BauhnTV. Repairer told me to buy Samsung or LG as they keep all parts for many years. Show details

Fanatic all round couldn't really complain though I've seen better and should rather spend a bit more. Top stuff – Great product clear as day and brightness is unbelievable. All in all a well made TV neevr had an issue to date. For the price well worth it. Good luck Show details
A solid TV at a budget – I enjoy the price, ease of use and picture quality. Lack of HDMI ports and sound is questionable. You get what you pay for and this is a steal given the other positives. Show details
Dead TV – The 58inch flat screen smart TV, (Well not so smart) No picture & sound. Just over 2 years old. After sale service is non-excistant . There is no way would I but another television from ALDI Show details
Spent $1,000, lasted 2 years! – Picture quality was so so but after 2 years it literally blew up...no picture no sound no nothing, so had to buy another tv. I wont buy aldi stuff again. Show details

Not bad – It doesn’t really have much application to it it is pretty small but still able to watch shows don’t really use the tv much anymore mostly on the internet and plus our remote was broker Show details
Rubbish TV – Very unhappy quality is poor when persons speaking mouths don't match the sound. TV kept turning itself off all the time after many calls finally go it fixed after sales service Tempo was also horrible ALDI also didn't want to do anything. Recently tried to get Netflix but tv will not support if again Tempo were next to useless with trying to help us didn't even return emails or phone messages Show details
2.5 years for $900 – Bought the tv about two and a half years ago, worked perfectly fine until the other day when I turned it on to have no picture but sound ok. Turned it off and in again and half the screen was very dark but had picture. Next time it was turned off and on was the last time we saw anything. I think 2.5 years for $900 is a bit poor. good – I like to watch TV on my big screen. If you like watching movies at home, it's very clear, just like a movie if you buy the surround sound system, I like this model of TV. It is light and easy to move. Its pictures and sounds are perfect. The connection is simple, and we like it. If you ask me, I would definitely recommend this big screen TV. Show details
Two Stars Aldi TV 58inch – This ALDI 58 Inch Ultra HD LED TV has a lovely screen ( when it works) as already mentioned the sound is fair. BUT after 2 1/2 years lost screen ( BLACK) only sound! Called Tempo Group who tell me "Not now under warranty cannot assist!" Sorry a $899 TV lasting just 2 1//2 years is unacceptable. Not happy so now contacted ALDI by e-mail to seek their assistance. Not taking "NO" for an answer. BEWARE This BAUHN TV is a dud
Never again – Maybe my expectations are too high Main board needed to be replaced in the first 4 months. Constant problems with the remote not being picked up by the tv only two years old and the screen flickers and goes black after intermittently. Needs the main board replaced again for the same fault but because it’s more than 12 months from… Read more
purchasing you’re on your own.
Most people would expect to get more than 2 years out of a TV - but clearly only made to last the 12 month warranty period and even required repair during that.
Online forums indicate that it’s a common problem too.
Faulty product – You get what you pay for. Bought this TV for $899. Picture was good, sound awful and was never a smart TV as advertised. Like everyone is saying, worked great for two years and bang... Black screen, no picture, only sound. Rang Bauhn tempo service and no I'm not spending a cent to repair it. Going out to buy an LG or Hisense today for not much… Read more
more. Will I buy anything from ALDI AGAIN? No of course not.
Update : to Aldi's credit they have organised a partial refund of $600 which I am okay with.
firmware problem after 2 years – The TV is good overall. But after sometime it starts going crazy. The firmware becomes unstable after sometime. You need to update the firmware if you can find it. I am still trying to find the software (Bhaun web page does not download). Overall the TV is really good and I was happy with it. Show details
Wouldn't buy again – Wouldn't recommend. Bought two. Picture OK but speaking out of sync with vision. After 2 years started turning itself off when changing source. Same happened with second TV a few months later. Not offered extended warranty like other brands - now know why. Limited inbuilt apps. Difficult to download firmware to correct issues. Have non smart… Read more

Good buy at the time...for a big tv – Bought this 65" 3 x years ago and its still great to this day ..i think paid $1199 then (its prob come down a fraction) but as a 2nd Tv its great..little biffs would be that its slow to initialize, and between applications/channels and to turn on, the remote buttons bit close to each other and the sound is ok..we bought a sound bar to optimize the… Read more
sound. Overall looks good and just using it as a TV works well - im not into high tech stuff so it works for me.
Bleeding image around edges – Not a good TV but can't really complain for the price you pay It's has average looking picture quality. Sound is bad. Needs a sound bar set up or hi find system to compensate Besides that the screen is huge and would suit a rental property or display unit not for everyday use eg gaming, movies Show details
dead in 24months – 58inch bauhn tv had no smart features . arc didn't work and one day 24months after turning it on its dead . waste of 800 bucks just seems to be like the rest of they're electrical products lately aldi toasters have better warranties then tv's .. don't waste your money . Go elsewhere – Had this tv for 2 years sound wasnt great picture was average and after warranty expired everything started going wrong now im stuck with a tv that has a black screen been told it would cost more to fix then it was worth. You get what u pay for!
Bought one of these two years ago - needed a software update – Everything everyone here has said is true - poor sound - slow - internet not useable etc etc Had to buy a sound bar another Baun product is very clunky to set up and has to be enabled every time I want to use it - when it works it works ok much better than TV speakers Recently I had issues with TV not changing channels, locking up and shutting… Read more
down
I was just about to throw it out when I decided to search for a software update
Eventually I found one
http://www.bauhn.com.au/55inch-uhd-tv-ATVS55-915-software-update.html
Follow instructions to the letter, make sure TV is on and is showing a DTV channel at the time
Waited patiently for the update to do its thing and wow reset everything and now remote works as well as it ever did and so far no shut downs
Fingers crossed I will get another couple of years out of this
But I am not sure that I would buy another Bauhn - probably my biggest worry is with Aldi if I have problem and they no longer selling that TV then your only recourse is get your money back, and pay out a lot more for a replacement brand - may have been better to do that in the first place
Perfect size – ALDI had these on sale back in June July and they are a great size but are easy to move around. The picture and sound is so clear and it takes our Apple TV perfectly. We watch Netflix etc. the remote has nice size buttons so easy to use. We actually went back and bought a second TV Show details
Blew up after 17 months – Bought this about 1.5 years ago. Terrible sound, needed soundbar. Remote control needed multiple presses. Video and sound sometimes didn't sync. Played with it because it was cheap, but never been happy. Now it's not long pot of warranty and it blew up...literally. Big bang, then smoke came out of the back. Don't buy this, spend a bit more and get a brand name one. Show details
Honestly you get what you pay for with ALDI – It was advertised that it had many special apps and features, but most of the applications are built in TV Guides and ugly windows that pop up and to show you the weather. The interface when using the remote is very annoying, the remote is very slow with the connection to the TV, and graphics look like a windows 98 computer when you scroll through… Read more
the app menu. The picture quality is nothing to rave about, it is only 1080i, not even 1080p full HD. But what can you really expect with Aldi, you get what you pay for I guess. But what you're really paying for is a HDTV. Next time I would spend a little more money a buy something like a Samsung TV that will last you years.
Stay away from Bauhn TV's $1199 died 17 months after purchase – I was lured in by the size of this TV, but that's the only good thing about it. Picture quality was never grealaptop connected via HDMI was very poor quality Remote was rubbish Purchased in September 2015 from Aldi and started using it in January 2016, in February 2017 it has just lost picture. That's 13 months of use. Aldi were helpful in… Read more
escalating my concerns to Tempo the manufacturer, but Tempo didn't want to help at all. I will never buy another BAUHN TV again and warn you to stay away as well. I had previously purchased two other Bauhn TVs without problem but obviously their standards have slipped dramatically. I think any buyer would expect a purchase of $1199 to last a lot longer than this.

Update, i would like to add that after writing a letter of my disappointment to Aldi head office i was offered a full refund on returning the TV. I am very happy with the outcome.
Cheap TV but worth what it costs – 1. Reliable TV. 2. very slow to start 3. not so good with wireless connectivity, there are screen freezes 4. bad speaker connected it to my Stereo 5. been using it more than a year with no problems at all. 6. can be mounted on a wall. Show details
Average – Everything about this TV is average, especially the sound. The functions will drive your crazy and the remote quality is awful from touch to function. Save your money and buy a better product. The plus side easy to get your money back. Customer service is excellent, shame the TV is not. Show details
OK for the price for a 58 inch 4K TV. Questionable reliability – Great picture in high definition but ordinary otherwise. Very poor sound, benefits greatly from a soundbar. Does not come with many apps, so need to use a media player set-top box, like an apple tv or roku, for easy access to netflix. Was reasonably satisfied with it, but broke down after 4 months, and was eventually allowed a refund after 5 weeks of waiting for parts for repair.
Return it before 12 monty warranty expires! – I bought the 65" 4K TV for $1200 and it has issues where there will be no video and only audio, and then the screen flicks intermittently and repeats itself. Every time it has an episode it goes for 5-10 minutes. I have owned the TV for 4 months and it is doing it more often. Bauhn wanted evidence of the issue so I videoed and sent it to them.… Read more
They don't have more stock now but Aldi will refund me fully before 12 months is up. you can always buy one and return it every year before the warranty is void but I think better to cough up and buy a Samsung
