My personal Experience – Super cheap, great picture, not smart but I just mention super cheap, lets be honest cheap smart you wish you had a set top box that actually worked decent over the tv.. speakers suck but again super cheap, but a cheap or my choice decent sound bar/5.1 that you can use with future purchases as well.. As some one star reviewer said it went bang after 3 years well hell that's good value! Show details
BANG after 3 years then I smelt smoke, Dont Buy! – I was never that happy with all the smart technology maybe they have improved that now in the later models. There was plenty of ports which was a bonus. Remote had far too many buttons. Show details
Buy another brand – We purchased 2 65" Tv's. Both went off with a bang, literally. One was working fine then made a bang like a gunshot and went off, never to work again. The second one went off like a gunshot the picture went of and shortly another ban and the sound was gone as well. Show details

If you're thinking of buying one , just do it !!!!!!!! – Absolutely fantastic, i have it running through my computer for Netflix and Foxtel, achieves 1080P at 60 FPS , run through display port. So perfect for NRL or motorsports. I run it through a sound system, so I cant comment on the onboard sound . For the price it is the bargain of the century. Show details
RAZZLER DAZZLER MOTHERS DAY GIFT..BUY IT – Beautiful picture. .foxtel and netflix crystal clear. Chromecast reconized straight away. Recorded free to air on usb overnight. Negative reviews
A little dissapointment – Picture quality was ok until bringing another brand tv next to it. Still not bad but not good picture quality as some people explaining as they excited (??) Need an external sound system. Many ports; but for what. It must have some wireless connection option; even no Bluetooth it has. When I bought it, I did not even think to check that kind of… Read more
specifications. What an odd and old technology.
The most important thing is the satisfaction guarantee you get from Aldi; the tv returned back and accepted by Aldi.
Took it straight back to Aldi on the same day! Terribly bad quality – Extremely poor sound quality. Tinny, muffled and quiet. Must have incredibly small, cheap speakers. Sound delay of 4 seconds made it unwatchable. Pixelated, blurred, poor quality definition picture, and colour was terrible. Tried to tweak settings but didn’t help. So disappointed. Rang Aldi customer service and they said I could return it which I… Read more
did, the same day I bought it.
If I could give zero stars, I would.
Put your money towards a decent tv, buying this one will give you an ulcer over your lost money.
Good value but with some flaws – Bought this TV from Aldi as it was on special. Setup was easy - however the picture quality is average and sometimes there is a lag when turning on the TV. Satisfied with the number of HDMI and USB ports. It can play most of the video and music files from the USB which is great. Overall, it is great value considering the size of the screen. Show details

Beautiful picture – This tv is huge looks great on the wall, picture is extremely clear and great to watch a range of media on including sports. Played 4K DVDs and they look stunning. The 1 star taken away is only because the sound isn't great and is quite tinny, not an issue though because we connected the tv to a surround sound system. Overall, fantastic tv for the price. Good quality – Purchased this TV on the cheap as a replacement for an older Plasma. Have not experienced any real issues with the TV in a few months of use. Audio quality probably isn't the best, but this can easily be resolved with a sounder purchase. TV image is crisp, refresh rate is OK. HD looks good most of the time. Cant beat the price, and for that reason, this model is good value. Show details
very cheap tv very gd quality – omg i cant say anything bad to this beautiful thin tv and the picture of it is so gd very cheap tv once i found it in aldi i was so confused if i should buy it or not bcz its 65” and usually this sizes is so expensive then i decided to buy it and i didn’t regret its a very gd tv i recommend this tv to everyone Show details
Love it – I was a bit skeptical about buying this, being from Aldi and the price seemed a bit cheap. But, i bought it anyway thinking that if it was that great i could always just use it for the grand kids games etc... but....its great! great picture, no problems at all and i'm very happy with it. my sports freak husband loves it too. So much better than the smaller tv we had. just goes to show, the price does not always reflect the quality. thank you Show details

Good price, decent monitor, no HDR is a killer though – I have this TV hooked up to a gaming rig, ps4 pro and an NVIDIA shield TV. It really is just a monitor for me and i dont use any of the tuning features. I'll include my perspective for basic entertainment (tv and movies) and gaming. In regards to gaming I have been quite satisfied. Input lag is acceptable for casual couch gaming, however any… Read more
competitive gaming such as csgo or rainbow six you will want another display with better response time. Handshaking between my 1080ti and the panel occasionally glitches and will lock refresh rate to 30hz. Make sure you have an proper HDMI cable that is up to spec for 4k60. All in all, this should not be your primary display for serious gaming however it makes for a good display if you want to sit back and play slower RPGs such as the Witcher or indie games such as FTL where response time doesn't make or break your experience.
From an entertainment perspective, things fall a bit flat. I stream high bitrate 1080p and 2160p rips from my plex server but have never tried a native 4k bluray. Nevertheless the display never does the original source file justice. My laptop with a calibrated 4k 10- bit panel has so much better color reprentation and depth (which is to be expected), accurate saturation and image quality. You will need a second device to add smart features as this has no inbuilt smart features. Sound quality is terrible with background static.
Great TV, Wonderful customer service – We purchased this tv from Aldi in September 2017, We’re extremely happy with the overall product. For the price ($799) it’s great value. Putting the product aside, I’d like to praise the customer service team (Tempo). I called them asking where I could order a replacement remote control because our naughty puppy chewed it to bits. The lady was… Read more
pleasant and so helpful even after I was truthful about how it was broken they replaced it free of charge because it’s still under warranty, she said to allow 7-10 days for it to arrive however within 2 business days it was in my letterbox. Thanks Tempo for such great customer service, these days service like that is hard to find.
Great price – This tv is one of the cheapest 65 inch 4K tv i’ve Found out there. It offers great viewing clarity from the 4(1080*1920) display. I use it as a monitor for gaming and it offers fluid performance and high refresh rate. This is one of the best Aldi TVs i’ve Used Show details
Great for the price, not the best picture – It takes quite a lot of messing with colour balance to get the best picture out of this. Even then it's not amazing when viewed from anywhere off to the side. Not a big issue if you're sitting in front but worth mentioning it. The inbuilt speakers are horrible! Thankfully it does have ARC so connecting to a soundbar is painless and HIGHLY… Read more
recommended.
There is enough ports for my usage, I dont think there's anything to complain about there. The ARC port is at the very back but that's fine.
No issues with the OSD or inbuilt features. Nothing amazing but also no missing features or strange behavior.
Overall it's good value for the price, not amazing but you get what you pay for.
It's alright – Definitely can tell it's a cheaper brand, however considering what I paid it's fantastic. Picture quality is great, however compared to a Samsung 4K tv you can tell the difference, colours are less vibrant and it's not nearly as sharp. The built in speakers could be a bit better as well. Bad Quality – The picture quality is medium is not like other tvs, you need to buy external speaker. The sound is very low even when you put it at high, the device have enough port 3 hmdi vga av /speaker out the device would it better if it was smart tv. It comes with a pretty good array of features and connection options for the price but the picture quality… Read more
isn't that good. As a second monitor, it's ok for regular web browsing and tasks that don't need good quality graphics but it's not good for spreadsheets, anything that involves lots of text or image editing work as it gives me a headache, something that doesn't happen with the main monitor with the same resolution and size. I have tried to tweak the settings and resolution but haven't found a fix yet.
Fantastic value for money and can't fault it! – Bought this on the Aldi specials and had to line up for the TV when it was first released. The sheer size, quality and display on this TV is amazing and matches the higher end TVs from the bigger brands such as Samsung, LG and etc. The blacks are deep and the colours are very vivid - if you are mainly using this to view netflix, watch normal TV… Read more
channels and movies then this TV would serve all purposes.
It isn't a smart TV but the fantastic part of this is if you purchase a Chromecast then it can immediately be connected to the internet for options such as Netflix, Youtube, Stan and etc. You pay around $60 for a Chromecast two for this internet functionality whereas, purchasing a Smart TV instantly costs hundreds of dollar more. Chromecast functionality is also superior to the TV company's smart TV function.
Great TV and great value for money – Bought this TV because it was on special and I was due for an upgrade. It was easy to install and set up. The picture quality is pretty good and the sound is also great (we're not that fussed). The size is great for movies, TV series and also to hook your laptop. Haven't had any problems with the TV so far. I love how I can add a usb and view photos from trips. Overall, highly recommend it! Show details
Excellent picture, average speakers – Bought the TV around a year ago. For the price, the size of the screen and the picture are incredible! I haven't noticed any drop-off in image quality since purchasing the television. Speakers sound a bit tinny, so I would recommend also buying a soundbar. No smart-TV features, however this is a non-issue if you prefer to use a Chromecast like I do. Show details

Great screen, for the price – I have purchased a Bauhn TV from Aldi before, and for what you are paying, you couldn't be asking for more. No major issues with colour, or picture quality. Great amount of inputs. Being a non-smart tv is not an issue, as apple TV and Chromecast are so cheap. And with the money you save, compared to a known branded tv, why not make it "smart". Decent – I haven't always been too keen on Aldi devices, but have found the picture quality to be decent enough at a family's place. As for the sound, I highly recommend that you get a sound bar as the sound just isn't satisfying. Overall, the the picture and sound quality are fine. Would recommend Show details
Great TV; good quality value for money – Tv is great; quality is really good. It is connected to an Xbox and chrome cast (no need for it to be a smart tv) Only issue is that occasionally is automatically changes channels (and always to 7flix) and I am unsure why Speakers are good (although it is connected to a sound at anyway). Plenty of ports available. Show details
Value Purchase – For its price, this is a stellar purchase. Absolutely satisfied with the purchase. I don't use its build in speakers but they do provide 3.5mm output jack to connect to my bookshelf ports. It also can play off USB sticks (NTFS only) and works well. Picture quality is satisfactory, it's not going to beat tv 3-4 times its price but it played all my videos without complaints. Show details
Good value – I recently purchased this TV to be used in my gym room and it does that job fine. I was impressed with the picture quality at the price point, during normal tv it is good and very good for streaming. The sound quality, however, is very poor. If you are going to buy this tv prepare yourself to get a soundbar/speakers as well. It is quite muffled… Read more
and distorted from the tv speakers and I'm not usually an audiophile.
The software is what you would expect. It takes maybe 10 seconds for the tv to turn on but changing channels is quick enough. The remote is also trash, anything more than 3m away from the tv it barely works. I paired the tv with an android tv box to give it smart capability which is what I mostly use.
I mostly watch in a well-lit room and the glare can be a bit much during very dark scenes. But I would say this is comparable to other tv's I have used.
Love My BIG TV – Picture quality good, little bit of light bleed in dark areas, picture can be made better if you go into service menus. Speakers average ended up getting a sound bar. Sufficient HDMI ports to accomodate all I need. Overall I am very happy with the unit, It is good value for price Show details
Aldi TV – The picture quality of this TV is fine , for the price we payed . The speakers are not the best we will be looking at a sound bar soon. Enough ports for me but could see a problem for some people. I have had a Bauhn TV before and any issues are fixed no problem Show details
Great value for money – Happy with the picture quality although none of the Aldi UHD 4k's have HDR which is the big selling point to see far more detail in darker areas of screen and truer blacks. Oh well, at $799 a bargain. Looks great with 4k laptop plugged in and also use Samsung 4k UHD player to stream Netflix 4k shows and looks cool. 4 x HDMI's all used with laptop… Read more
in one, PVR in another, Samsung UHD player and lastly Chromecast UHD, heaven!
Other reviews say buy the Smart TV but I did my research and asked friends and the Smart TV's sound disappointing so rather have very good laptop to access web etc.
Wonderful! – Great value for money. It only costs $799 which is much less than other brands. It has 4 HDMI ports which gives me plenty of space for my PS4 and computer with other ports for future use. I would recommend this TV however, if you get the chance, I would buy the smart TV. Show details
Great tv for it's price! – Great tv. Clear picture & sound. Has 4 hdmi outputs which is fantastic for our small family as we can have the computer constantly connected the tv so it's a quick flip of the remote to use the internet or watch tv. Only downfall is it does use alot of power. Show details
Awesome value for money – 64inch HD LED TV $799 Love it have had it for over a year now and yes it's slow to turn on however I can wait for five seconds. Matched with a smart box I seriously can't fault it, yes the sound is not great but I run a surround sound system with it. Saved myself $2000 to buy a similar size TV. Show details
Good Value TV – Great value TV for the price and the size you get. Picture is clear and colour is ok - can't compare against bigger brand TVs but they costs 2x-3x more. Has worked well - no issues so far (6 months old) Sound is not that great - would need a soundbar if you are particular. Show details
Nice Size – Ok for the price, sounds a little tinny, connects well and works good with a sound bar easy to use, owned for 6 months so far its still running fine also its slow to turn on but once going seems too run ok, sometimes you have to hit the buttons on the remote more than once. Show details
