Not so good – My first order with this onlin company included 3 hair product items, I was emailed the next day to say that one of the products had been discontinued and that i would be reimbursed, the package arrived promptly and the monies reimbursed the same day. I would question why one would still have a discontinued item on their website. My second order… Read more
proves to be more problematic. After waiting 4 working days, I emailed ask the likely time of arrival, the answer was that it takes around 2/3 days to leave factory in SA and that u should have it within a day or so after that. It arrived 7 days following the order. what I found more frustrating was upon opening the order there was an item missing, I emailed the company, who replied very quickly that I would have received notice that an item was not included!!! I did not and the money was only reimbursed after i had received the parcel.
Overall my experience so far is sitting on the frustrated scale and I am kit sure that I will go back for more!
Disappointing – I ordered some items through the Vogue online shopping night. The website promises express shipping. As soon as I placed my order I received an email saying they were delayed and would arrive next week. I rang to follow this up and was told if I cancelled one item I would receive the others the next day. I was also told I would be refunded that… Read more

Cheaper than StrawberryNet!! – Ordered last week and received today. Gave myself an early Xmas present and loving it. Purchased Youngblood and Dermalogica. The skin smoothing cream worked out to be over $10 cheaper than what i was paying on strawberry net!! absolute bargain plus they have a free shipping promotion. amazing discounts and genuine products. Great promotions
What a great find! – So impressed that I had to share! Found this site on Google, and bought SkinCeuticals SunScreen, Youngblood Mineral Foundation & a St tropez Tanning applicator. Firstly I'm impressed with how helpful they were over the phone. I was trying to pay for my order with the wrong credit card (having one of those days...) and the lady I spoke to was… Read more
delightful. She also helped me out with determining if the SkinCeuticals range would be good for me. I'll probably start with the range when I finish my current range.
Secondly, ordering was painless, and they email you when your order is despatched so you know which is awesome.
Thirdly, I received my order 2 days later!! and it was delivered free !
Definitely one of the best online experiences I've had! And in comparison with other sites, Beauty on a Budget is in some cases hugely less expensive.
Thanks Beauty on a Budget from your newest and happiest customers!!! Customer Service, Delivery, Discounts Wish they accepted AMEX, but I do have a MasterCard so it was fine!
Online shopping at its best!! – Beauty on a budget have a good selection of quality products. I have had some bad experiences previously with online shopping, but this company really knows what they are doing. From the beginning to delivery. I was really impressed with their prompt replies to my questions about a product. And their reassurance it anything was not right. The… Read more

I Love my Skin Care almost as much as I'm in Love with Beauty on a Budget – Purchaeed over $200 worth of Thalgo, and Youngblood with Beauty on a Budget. order now :) Speed of Delivery, and the HUGE discounts :) oh and the Free Express Post Wishing they had a few more product ranges.
One star is too high! – If you buy something online and received it completely broken would you expect a refund or replacement? I do. I've just been hung up on for asking for a refund from www.beautyonabudget.com.au The Owner feels that it is not her responsibility to ensure the safe arrival of her products and has directed me to take my $70 smashed-up-compact to a third… Read more
party (Australia Post) and ask for compensation while she keeps hold of my money. Does anyone else see a problem with this?!
I have ordered from www.beautyonabudget.com.au twice. The first time I ordered $400+ worth of products, the contents of one of my makeup compacts was entirely shattered. After contacting the company I was told that there was no way it could have left their business broken and that that I would have to take the goods to an Australia Post Shop for a refund. After taking the damaged compact and investigating my claim for two weeks Australia Post declined a refund saying that the responsibility lies with the Seller (it was well packed so they concluded the item was broken before it was posted). I relayed this back to Beauty On A Budget (though no one in authority would take my calls) and after some chasing I finally got agreement that they would issue a refund on return of the item (so back to the post office for the 3rd time I go)!
I don't know about you, but I choose to buy online because it saves me time. Three trips to the post office? Unimpressed in an understatement. This was about 18 months ago. Sooo, I thought I'd give them another chance (as you do)...
This week I placed my second order with Beauty On A Budget and exactly the same thing has happened. My $70 compact resembles dust. I took photos on opening (as the makeup was spilling out of the packaging so I knew there was a problem), and I immediately called their Perth office. I managed to speak with the Owner and explained my predicament. I was once again told that Beauty On A Budget takes no responsibility for the condition of the products once they leave their store/warehouse and that I had to seek compensation from Australia Post etc.. I explained that I don't have time to chase Australia Post and more importantly, my contract as a Consumer is with the Seller - By rights they are legally obliged to provide a product that is fit for purpose - otherwise they must provide a replacement or a refund. I did not enlist Australia Post to deliver this, they did - I do not have a commercial relationship with Australia Post - they do! Therefore Australia Post is delivering on behalf of Beauty On A Budget. It's their responsibility to ensure products are delivered to their customers intact (and to remedy this in line with Consumer Law when necessary). I was told that if I posted the product back they would speak with Australia Post about a possible refund - with no guarantees that I'd get my money back. I reiterated that Australia Post has nothing to do with me, my contract is with Beauty On A Budget and that I expected a refund on their receipt of the broken compact along with reimbursement of the postage to Perth. This is when the call ended.
I have since spoken with The Office Of Fair Trading who confirms that I am owed a replacement or a refund. I have written to Beauty On A Budget (and attached photos) and asked them formally to remedy the situation. We'll see - I'm not holding my breath.
I buy online frequently and have done for years. I've been lucky to have very few experiences like the one above as I've managed to buy from reputable, law-abiding businesses. I will continue to shop online, however my money won't ever be spent with Beauty On A Budget.
