Fantastic – I have had a few prams and strollers In my time as a mum and I found this one is fantastic it's easy to push, big sun shade, large basket, easy to put up and down. My husband and I are tall so the adjustable handle is great for us. Other than that I can't fault it I enjoy going for walks now where is before my other pram was a pain to push.
Average pram – Bought this after using the steelcraft cruiser, I was looking for something a bit more comfortable for my baby and with a better sunshade. While this pram does have a wonderful sunshade and great basket underneath, that's where the good stuff ends. It folds up the opposite way, so the inside of the pram is facing out and the straps dangle everywhere and the strap covers fall off! It is not easy to fold and unfold, it is awkward! And because of the way it folds up part of the materiel on the seat has ripped, I will be trying to return the pram because of this. And the system to strap the baby in is not user friendly. If it folded up the other way it would actually be a wonderful pram! The sunshade and basket are wonderful It folds up the opposite way to most prams leaving the straps dangling and the strap covers fall off!
Great stroller for a great price – Upon reading other reviews I found other people were disappointed in this stroller but I'm overly impressed! For it's price it's great! I switched to this stroller as my little one had almost outgrown our pram. I love the generous basket space underneath, I love that the pram came with a drink holder and rain cover and this wasn't an optional extra! I love the padded seat, and I love that there was colour option! I have the gorgeous mustard yellow!
I just love this stroller!
It still reclines right back so bub is still able to have a bottle while out and about! It's easy to push around, lightweight and folds up super compact! Good price, lightweight No faults
Ok for a temporary pram – I got this stroller because I was on a budget and for the price and the features I though it was a good deal. It is light weight,it has a large canopy, folds easy and doesn't take too much space in the boot. The thing that I complete despite is the wheels as they are rubbish. I live in the suburbs and when I go for a walk I keep on getting mini gum nuts stuck in the wheels creating holes in them. The padding is not the most comfortable thing for my baby but I've managed to get a stroller liner so that my baby can feel more comfortable. I've tried to take care of this stroller as much as I can but I know this one will not survive in rough surfaces. Light weight, the canopy, doesn't take too much space in the boot of the car and the price. The wheels are made of cheap material, the padding , the basket can be difficult to access
Disappointing – I bought this stroller because I had the Steelcraft Cruiser and the hood on it was inadequate for Aussie summers. So I looked for a budget stroller with a generous hood and came across this one. I thought it would be good as you can buy adaptors to fit the Steelcraft Cruiser capsule and you can attach a buggy board for a toddler. Hood - The hood is generous - it has a zip-away section that allows you to extend it. There is a window on the top of the hood which is dark see-through plastic but there is no cover on it so when it's very sunny I have to put something over it to cover the sun.
Folding - It is easy to fold and is quite light and easy to put in the car boot.
Manoeuvrability - by far this is the thing I most dislike: I nearly tipped the pram over (with my toddler in it) in the first few days of using it as I was used to how well the Steelcraft turned. I tried to turn the stroller while going backwards and it came very close to tipping right over - very dangerous. When I go for long walks with the pram I get sore wrists. It is hard to steer with one hand only. The other thing I quickly noticed was that when I push the pram I am constantly kicking the bar between the two back wheels, and I am not tall (around 5"4) - I have the handle pretty much horizontal.
Protection from wind - this pram is ok for summer use as it has good ventilation (the zip-out part of the hood is mesh and if you lift the back pocket you can just leave the mesh down) however it is certainly not adequate for cooler weather, espsecially when it is windy. There are gaps between the fabric and the stroller, so any wind just goes right through.
Seat - there is no padding on the back of the seat. I put a pram liner in but it makes it quite difficult to fold as the pram folds in half and my pram liner is quite thick. The bottom part of the seat is just fabric; no other support. The seat fully reclines which is good, but I found the adjuster quite difficult to use in teh beginning. It has the 'infinite recline' which is the two straps that let you have the seat at any angle.
Basket - Decent size but very difficult to get to things when the seat is reclined. There is a zip entrance to the basket but there's no way my nappy bag would fit through it so I've never really used it. You can sort of get stuff from the sides, if it's something small.
Harness buckles - they are the type that separate into two pieces when you unclip it and it's no fun trying to strap a fussing baby/toddler when your trying to connect two pieces of plastic. When my 2-yr-old is fully reclined the straps are too tight so I usually just leave them off if he is sleeping.
Foot rest - to move the foot rest up there is a velcro strap that comes out from underneath and you strap it onto the safety bar. My toddler quickly learnt how to undo the velcro so it is useless. Also the strap, which has a pocket to store it away, has a tendency to work its way out and dangle at the front of the pram.
Safety bar - the bar seems to need to be put on in a certain way although there is no marking as to left or right side.
Colour - I got the 'citrus' which looked nice in the picture (I bought this off the net, sight unseen) but it kind of looks like a dirty yellow. Stains pretty easily too.
All in all I guess I should have known better than to expect a great pram for such a low price and without having seen it first. I got it for $250 from the oo.com.au website. Generous hood; comes with adaptor for buggy board; can purchase adaptor for Steelcraft cruiser capsule Difficult to push/manoeuvre; no protection from wind, keep kicking the bar between the back wheels
