Easy to assemble, arrives well packed and easy to unbox. Cooking on this BBQ is a pleasure, no hot spots and burner controls cover a wide range. Show details
Set up instructions were good. Hreat quality product. Heat and cooking are excellent. Show details
never again with Beefeater!! – I thought that I had bought a barbeque and expected a few minor assembly tasks. What I received was a flat pack consisting of numerous sheetmetal panels and bodgy assembly instructions. It took over three hours to assemble as numerous bolts wouldn't take due to undersized female threads. Chinese manufacture?? I was not advised by the retailer… Read more
(Barbeques Galore) at the time of order and collection that it was a flatpack, nor offered an assembly service which I subsequently would have taken, even at the asking price of $95.
Great BBQ – Took about 75 minutes to fully assemble without any problems, possibly the best instructions I have seen, just takes a bit of patience. Very satisfied with my purchase which replaced an aging gasmate that would not heat more than half the hotplate. Show details
Brand New - Assembly frustrating poor quality – Out of the box 3 screws I could not get to take, then the side tray is missing the self tapping inserts so now I have a BBQ with one wing. Lets see how customer service performs Show details

So far so good – The BBQ is quite solid built. The hood is heavy and the cabinet is painted shiny. It's probably the only equivalent replacement for the old school non-Heston Everdure BBQ. I paid $900 for the BBQ. I got it converted to natural gas for an extra $100. Also I got it delivered and installed for $100. So total spent is $1100. So far I've cooked… Read more
chicken satay and sausages. No problem with flare ups in the grills. The flame is quite hot, I can say it has lots of fire power. Steaks not even heat distribution.
I find heat distribution not even, more heat at the back of the grill. Probably replacing the metal flame tamer to a ceramic flame tamer will help to solve this.
Smokes also directed to my face. Maybe that's both normal for hooded gas BBQ.
It's easy to keep clean using beefeater triangle brush and a spatula to scrape the hotplate.
So far I'm happy with the purchase, will try cooking burger next and update this review.
Great bbq. But for putting together – Trying to put screws into thread that have been painted over, painful. Then a right hand door that is off by atleast 4mm. Stop manufacturing in China. Paid more than I wanted to for a quality brand??? Not sure anymore. Show details

Ok customer service sent me out a new tray. I should have just purchased a matador from Bunnings, as all the BBQs are made in China anyway.
