Heats up insanely quick, gets a fantastic char and roasts like a dream. The only reason this bbq didn’t get 5 stars is that the insides (not including the grill plates) are hard to clean.

One of the best bbq's I've ever owned. Cooks food perfectly and easy to keep the unit clean. I'm happy with the purchase and the one time I had a question for sales support it was answered promptly. Highly recommend.

We have cooked on our trusty Webber for years but wanted to upgrade to an outdoor kitchen.
I did the research and came up with the cross ray as our new BBQ option. My husband was very concerned moving away from his trusted Webber. After he cooked for the first time, he was absolutely blown away by the set up, the size of the grill and the cook of the steak.
Incredible product and service.
Look no further for the ultimate cooking experience.

We purchased a 4 burner gas CROSSRAY BBQ in November and were so impressed we purchased the CROSSRAY electric BBQ for portability.
Both Great products at very good prices, easy to use, easy to clean. Cooks everything very evenly and very little flare up if any, including lamb chops which have always flared on our previous BBQs.
We cannot recommend these CROSSRAY BBQs more highly.

The Crossray has fitted in beautifully with our lifestyle. We’ve cooked just about everything to perfection. It looks the part and does do what the advertising says it will do. I recommend using the cooking book settings as it is different from other BBQs, it’s much hotter. Cleaning is about the same as other BBQs, always a chore.
This is the best BBQ we’ve had. Love it!

The Crossray BBQ kitchen looks good & is a breeze to use, it gets hot & once you get used to how hot it gets & how quick your food cooks, happy days with our chicken & steak so juicy yet char grilled on the outside. Being able to cook on the top rack is a real bonus, very easy to clean , spray of water & a wire brush with the heat on , job done.

BBQ cooks well; kitchen cabinets faulty and unsafe; customer service non-responsive
BBQ achieves high even heat and cooks very well. Pizza stone works well.
The problem is with the kitchen cabinets. The build quality is pretty good, but the sides of the side cabinets have the ventilation holes in the wrong place - a few inches higher than shown on the Crossray website and in the installation manual. This has two consequences;
1. The side cabinets cannot be connected to the BBQ cabinet as shown in the installation manual. They are supposed to connect using screws and nuts, "two through the top vents, and 2 through the bottom ...
Read morevents." After asking Customer Service about this, they claimed that I had "new generation" cabinets that "require to create your own hole in the cabinet - drill through each cabinet" to connect them. I find it hard to believe that is by design, rather than faulty manufacture that they are hoping customers won't notice. 2. Airflow between cabinets is blocked because the vents don't line up. This is a safety issue as a build-up of leaking gas under the BBQ cannot escape. My questions to Customer Service about this have gone unanswered for 3 weeks now, so I am writing this public review in the hope of getting a response. Desired resolution: Crossray please send side pieces of cabinets with vents that align so I can attach the cabinets together and so that airflow is not blocked. And I will be happy to adjust this review to reflect your improvements in Customer Service. Thanks.Purchased in .

The bad
1: BBQ does not even come close to advertised heat, no chance of pizza cooking with 2 burner
2: BBQ has known fault, yet crossray knowing send out units without bothering to open them up and fit upgraded part so unit can get to a hot temp as before upgrade temps are even lower.
3: I have to contact crossray to get them to send part out and install part because they are to lazy to do it themselves.
4: Grill grates are a pain to clean and the depth of the cast iron grill makes it hard to clean between the grates
5: The grates rust very qu...

Probably the best customer service I have ever encountered!
Brandon was not only helpful prior to purchasing, but when I had a catastrophic accident with my Crossray BBQ, he offered to replace it completely!
The BBQ itself is fantastic so far, and although I have only used it a couple of times, I can already see that this top quality product cooks differently and creates awesome flavours in your meats…..
I would definitely recommend Brandon and Crossray

I absolutely love the BBQ and couldn’t go back to a normal gas burner BBQ after the Crossray. I had it for about four years and it cooks as well as the first day. I am Argentinian/Italian and grew up in Argentina cooking a lot of meat on charcoal. I find I can cook the perfect steak as well as roasting chicken, pork or lamb on the top rack as well as using it as a pizza oven with the stone and making paellas. If you love cooking don't waste your time on lesser items. If it's too expensive, save up, it's worth it. Couldn’t ask for a more versatile machine and how convenient it is.

I have been delighted with the Crossray 4-burner BBQ and I highly recommend it.
As a steak lover, with a preference for meat on the rare end of the spectrum, I wanted something which could get get very hot for the perfect centre and delicious crust. After a LOT of research, I went with the Crossray BBQ and I have not been disappointed. I have been delighted in fact. I am literally making restaurant grade steaks, cooked exactly as I like it. So much so, that if I really want a great steak, I will just make it at home now. See below for the tec...
Read morehnique I use. The best part about having the Crossray: the steak is high quality and affordable. Imagine how much a 500g wagyu MBS 7-9+ steak would be in a restaurant compared to what you could make it at home, assuming you can actually find somewhere that will make it to your desired weight and thickness. Also, no restaurant is "dry brining" or cooking it "reverse sear" for you either. That is the beauty of having a BBQ this good. But it does more than just cook an awesome steak. Lamb comes out a dream, fish is succulent and juicy (again there is a technique here, but I cooked some of the best fish ever on my Crossray and it was cooked much faster than in my oven) and sausages are amazing. The meat comes out really delicious and with that great flame-grilled taste. I also recently picked up a rotisserie kit and I am excited to use it for a pork roast with crackle and a whole duck with crispy skin, one of my absolute favourite dishes. Can't wait to see the bird spinning on my rotisserie. Finally, if I must end on something, it is talking about the versatility of the BBQ to make an extraordinary burger which, again, when you master the technique, will come out better than anything you can buy elsewhere. See below for my burger technique.Purchased in .

We can’t seem to regulate heat. It seems to be on high heat all the time even though we’ve turned the burners down to low

Hi, does anyone know how the Crossray performs with Wok cooking? The website states a separate wok/side burner is not needed as you can place your wok directly on the grill. Keen to know if anyone has tested.
