Cooking wise works good and good for about 4 people .Assembly was ok ,would have liked 2 fixed wheels and 2 castors. Weight with 9kg gas bottle made it difficult to move around so made a adaptor handle and fitted 4kg bottle Show details

My Bigg Bugg barbecue – I purchased a beefeater Big Bugg from Domayne in warrawong on boxing day. After a huge hassle with harvy norman I looked at a lot of other barbecues and Domayne was the best price plus a gift card. Great service from Domayne and even got free delivery ( another story) . My son came and put the trolley together and we found it was missing the right… Read more

hand side rail for the drip tray. I emailed Beefeater and after a couple of emails back and forward to make sure it was the right part ,they are sending it out today... Super quick, and very easy to deal with them. I'm looking forward to many a ummie barbecue. Would definitely use them again and the Bugg is so nice looking.

Terrible heat distribution – The burner is a single oval shape following the grill plate shape. Basically, I can only cook in the centre of the grill, everything towards the edge stays raw. Basically, it was meant to be a "Bigg" bbq, but can only (unevenly) grill 2 medium sized steaks at a time for the half side that comes with the grill plate. The other side is a flat plate… Read more

that is useless to me (I will have to order another grill plate but I should realistically get rid of this and buy something that can cook evenly).

Amazing BBQ!! – Amazing BBQ! We were tossing up between this one, the Weber and the Ziggy. Weber was off the list as most models don’t have the temperature gauge. Ziggy was out of stock for ages so we found this one and so glad we did! Great value, cooks everything great and SO much room. Super high lid. Honestly can’t fault it. I’m not normally a BBQ person but I am now. It’s so easy to use, highly recommend. Show details

Toss up between Bigg Bugg and Family Q – I own both the Bigg Bugg and Family Q. Toss up which is best. Bigg Bugg produces more heat for open hood cooking, has left and right burners so you can cook on one side on its own. Comes 50/50 plate & grill which is great, also has a full plate optional accessory. Not as good a warranty as the Family Q and Family Q you have to cook with hood… Read more

down (which is fine), not as much heat and have to run a full burner. Bigg Bugg fat tray could be bigger, but doesn't bother me. Easy to clean.

Beefeaters worst – I have been buying Beefeater bbq’s for 35 years and they have been getting worse and worse. Well like and Idiot I have purchased another one and the Big Bugg is the worse yet. I can cook I am a qualified Chef so no problem there. My bbq is natural gas and it won’t stay alight on low it just turns off. Unable to cook evenly and the fat runs out of… Read more

the small tray in 10 minutes. The fat tray is like a matchbox. I purchased a cover to go with it and it only covers the top without the side trays and leaves the legs exposed. I also purchased a full bbq cooking plate which is absolutely useless. Seriously if your looking for a bbq don’t buy beefeater I would suggest you follow my lead and go to Bunnings. At lease this way you won’t be disappointed when you get what you pay for.

Shame on you beefeater you need to improve and get your product back to where it was. People won’t pay top dollar for a poor product for ever.

Buyer beware!!!!!

Best BBQ – This BBQ has been the best I have ever owned! Small enough not to be intrusive, yet big enough to cook for an afternoon party with friends. Pulling the top off is easy and I clean it with a high pressure cleaner. The drip tray is small, but it doesn't really bother me.  Show details
