Best BBQ purchased so far – The build of the BBQ is good to solid, decent castors and reasonably easy to put together. There is plenty of space in the cart for the Gas bottle, utensils and rotisserie. The vitreous enameled grill and cooking plate is one of the main factors that I bought this BBQ within the price range I could comfortably afford. They are easy to keep clean… Read more

and so far are not flaking or rusting like the cast iron plates on my old BBQ. The controls actually do work as they are supposed to, max is max and low is low. There have been reviews that I have read about hot/cold spots and uneven cooking but I believe this is always going to be an issue with medium to low budget BBQs. I use this to my advantage, after a couple of cooks I now know the best place to cook my steak to perfection, my eggs and onions without burning them before they are cooked. Compared to my last BBQ this Beefmaster has much less uneven cooking variances, and I have found the differences on the plate to be very subtle. The BBQ is not perfect though, my existing rotisserie brackets did not fit this BBQ and I have since bought new brackets but I still need to make some adjustments as the hood lifts and drops as the rotisserie rotates. I had issues with burner No1 not igniting properly and shooting a rather large flame from the flame thrower. This was caused by a little bit of dirt in the flame thrower, once cleaned out with a cotton bud it has worked perfectly again. But I was surprised at how little it took to cause this issue. Overall this is a really good BBQ, heats up quickly, plates get nice and hot for searing and when you want a bit of a slower and lower cook that is still easily done. Also the 6 year warranty is a bonus.

No gas fittings available – Purchased BBQ 10 months ago and requested a bayonet gas hose to suit our home connection with LP gas bottle. Was told they were out of stock temporarily due to Covid, so went ahead with the purchase. Have been back several times and BBQs galore do not stock a single hose or fitting to suit the 1/2” inlet on this BBQ. If my current hose were to… Read more

fail or become damaged the entire bbq would be junk as no retailers sell a 1/2” gas fitting to suit. I’m disappointed that I was misled during the original purchase that the hose I requested would be available within a reasonable timeframe. BBQ works well when you have gas, but during Christmas/new year period all of my local service stations have no gas bottles available. Very disappointed. Would not recommend purchasing due to non- standard gas fitting and poor after sales service.
